Hopes and dreams: I would LOVE people able/willing to help him restore his memory; it'll happen over time, but things to basically jumpstart the recovery would be awesome. Also looking forwards to SCIENCE!!11 and MAGIC SCIENCE!!11 people, and generally, him just being added to the Dad crew.

I'm excited to see what Goku can do here, what great fights he can get himself into (probably working to keep him away so he doesn't one-shot all the big bads!), maybe train someone in Turtle Hermit style and teach them stuff (Yeah, it's gonna be scary should people start throwing Kamehamehas!)

Little bit about them: Luke fon Fabre is a replica, a clone of Asch, his original. He's a skilled swordsman who knows a little bit of cooking and healing. However, he is entirely made of the 7th fonon, or molecularly the element of sound. In his world, fonon is another word for mana, and there are the basic elements of Earth, fire, water, wind, etc. The more he overexerts himself during battle if he uses too much mana in his artes (the spells he uses in his attacks), the more he becomes bodily transparent/see-through because at a molecular level, his fonons in his bloodstream disperses and he could potentially die...but with the SCA on, he'll just become very fatigue and exhausted if he uses too much of his magic/artes during combat
Hopes and dreams: Nothing comes to mind, but he's very nice and helpful, so he'll be helpful on missions and on the platform, and he'll do whatever he can to be a good friend and good company and teammate. He misses Tear though. In the meanwhile, I want to collect bonus points on missions to recover Mieu and his sorcerer ring.

Other: I play here for a long while! Currently, I'm playing Xiao Xingchen from the Untamed, Lan "catji" Wangji (CRAU from slumscape) from Mo Dao Zu Shi where he's a half youkai (bakeneko so to speak) from the other world. Please, let know if you want to plot anything with my boys, but generally, I'm open to everyone depending where they are. I may be stretched a little thin at times, so I won't be able to tag as fast, but I'm pretty reliable

It's also with a heavy heart that I dropped Hua Cheng crimson_rain, but he went home with Xie Lian, so I want to take the time to say thank you for the CR and friendship with him. In the meanwhile, I hope Luke will be a good friend and brother figure during his time here! Let me know if friendship and CR with Luke interests you and we can plot! He's open-minded to science and magic systems from other worlds as he comes from a world where magictechnology is quite fairly advanced in fantasy terms (airships, military ships, cloning machines, etc).

Canon: Star Wars (CRAU from the Wake) Nautilus was both a being and a city that called people to 'Wake' to a new level of consciousness and gave them an ability called Bending that allowed them to shape reality with their will. It was also a super weird place, as anybody who lived there as long as Leia did can tell you.
Cabin and team: Sleeper Upper Two, Cabin E, Team Blue
Little bit about them: Last Princess of Alderaan, erstwhile Galactic Senator, General of the Resistance, and just all around awesome lady. Also she helped take down the remnant of a godlike being who wanted to turn all of reality into glass, so that's also a thing.
Hopes and dreams: She'll undoubtedly team up with Hera at some point for a double dose of Space Mom. Otherwise, after dealing with the 'here we go again' of being whisked across time and space, I'd love for her to get to know people so she can figure out who needs the most momming. She'll likely also seek out other responsible adults, because there's strength in numbers, and with this crew, it's likely to be needed. XD

Canon: from my aformentioned Tales of/XC2 fic (aka YWKON), which is a fic that takes XC2's blade system and throws it on Tales characters to see how the system changes (and doesn't change!) who they are. i probably shouldn't sales pitch it lol it's just. imagine a universe with magic life/emotion bonds and a species that are reliant on said bond to even exist in the world and then imagine the fallout of that system's flaws, because boy is the fallout real bad. when the system is inherently oppressive it's no wonder people try to dismantle it and when they can't do that, escape it in some fashion!!!

Little bit about them: Jade's mostly just vibing in the last hundred years after he found his own way to break out of said oppressive system. which is a weird way to put "adopted an artificial aegis prototype" and "helping his partner provide homes for other blades escaping this hell system" and "is technically the uncle of YWKON's protagonist" but yanno. it's not like he took a major part in any of the adventure!! also Jade&Mythra, emotional support bastards, he'd kill for her, end tweet. (he WILL cry about Mythra not being here but it's fine he'll survive)
Hopes and dreams: Jade's major plan will be figuring out what exactly the train is hiding from them LMAO.... ...which honestly means if anyone wants to bully him into SLEEPING and EATING and not spending SEVERAL HOURS ON END DIVING INTO RESEARCH that could be fun. (Asch can't babysit him ALL the time!!!) otherwise i like feelings jams and unlikely bonding so just. give me / your characters. let's see how it goes.

To the point where I have an opt-out if you need it. He's another member of Team Insomnia as well as Team Needs To Be Dragged Away From The Books To Eat.
Hopes and dreams: He's an extremely curious mind and will probably be experimenting with the various pieces of technology on the train. Expect some kitchen accidents. ... He's fine at cooking but not like this. (Fortunately Control Flames is a cantrip without material components so it should be fine.) On that note, he's going to need to barter with people for some of his material components. Some of them are a little... tricky, like phosphorus and sulfur as well as both copper and silver wire.

Little bit about them: do you ever murder the guy you're empathetically bonded to, sleep for a thousand years, and wake up to find the world has changed wildly in the time you were napping? and the only person you recognize is some weirdo with SAME TRAUMA written all over his face? get swiped from your home world before you can go looking for your lost twin brother, only to meet a version of him that's human and then have to board a magical train? it's time to HAVE A GOOD OLE TIME.
Hopes and dreams: Bring me whatever! Other than herding Jade around by the nose and being. a little. protective of Luke (oh god why is his AU twin on Red oh god), I have no solid plans.

She was a secretary android who was made to pilot the flagship (Ok, the ONLY capital ship) of the Rebellion against Jark Matter's empire. It was in this she became a Kyuranger and helped save the universe. She was the "one sane" member of the crew, except she wasn't that sane. Prone to overimagination and writing fanfic about her crewmates.
Hopes and dreams: I just miss RP. It is nice to have a creative outlet that doesn't involve a 2 year old, or the Grimdark future where there is only war (Note: Yeah, I play warhams too, don't hold it against me)

Little bit about them: Zelgadis is a 'mysterious sorcerer-swordsman' who occasionally tries to appear too cool and aloof for this, but a) is just as silly as the others and b) when he's not, it's usually because he's either being the straight man, or the universe is conspiring to undermine his 'too cool for school' look. His primary goal (in between 'dragged on world-saving adventures') is reversing a magical transformation that left him a chimera (a mix of several species).
Hopes and dreams: Honestly, I want to see Zelgadis engage in some sort of project or larger goal. Or make friends. Or have people who will drive him absolutely nuts.

Little bit about them: Kotoha is a Perfectly Normal Bookstore Owner, and by that I mean she's secretly a transforming superhero. But she actually does intend to keep that part secret. She is basically a living story, bound to the rules of narrative, though able to exploit those rules for herself when necessary, and able to use the items and characters from fairy tales and folklore.

Mostly, though, she's just a Mom Friend who is going to fuss at literally all of these children on this train to eat healthy and be sure to do their homework. What homework? She'll work on that part. She's a big softy who loves kids and loves books and is probably going to live in the library car.
Hopes and dreams: GIVE HER THE CHILDREN. Let her just mom all of them. Also, villains! She wants to try to redeem and help any villain she encounters. Also, people who know a lot about stories for her to geek out with!

Little bit about them: Rogue is a mutant, who has the power of absorption. Any prolonged physical contact will have her abilities kicking in, and she can't control it insomuch as turning it on and off, so she will be gun shy. Also, no gloves, and living in shared quarters with strangers? Not her idea of a good time, so oopsies may happen if anyone is interested in that. She is from the third movie, before getting the cure, so in a bit of a mindspace right now. She is sassy and kind, quick to quip but also shy.
Hopes and dreams: Open to anything! Her abilities can lead to some situations, and I am fine with positive or negative reactions. She will try to keep herself from using her powers, but stuff happens... So if you want stuff to happen, I am all for plotting.

I have four pet cats, I'm a returning student working on my bachelor's in creative fiction writing, and I'm into a ton of canons in a lot of different forms of media. I've been mostly lurking in fandom for the past few years, though, with the occasional burst of fanfic; I haven't been in an actual game since LJ and I'm excited to be here!

Character: Phineas Mason, aka the Tinkerer
Canon: The Spectacular Spider-Man (the cartoon that aired 2008-2009)

Little bit about them: Phineas is somewhere between being a supervillain and a career criminal; either way he tries to stick to a support role and minimizes his actual involvement out in the field, though he does go out to help sometimes. He's kind of a genius and he makes incredibly advanced tech for criminals, mostly for fun but also for profit! Do what you love and you'll never work a day in your life. He's also a bit more theatrical and adrenaline-seeking than he'll admit to, which is why he makes tech for dangerous people who are enemies with each other. It's fine! Honest, he's not a terrible person and he's not even really an amoral person, he's just got a moral compass that doesn't default to true north, as it were. When he makes trouble it's usually via helping other people make trouble; he's a team player and is just as likely to help out around the Voidtrain.
Hopes and dreams: At first? Just meeting people, tbh! I'm looking forward to all the CR Phineas can get. Other criminal/villain types? Hero types? Civilians? It's all good! I also look forward to him poking around at interesting things on the train and getting settled enough to start making some tech!
I'm also specifically interested in him getting to meet other tech-oriented people, both those who work with or make technology and those who might be in the market for some. Meeting characters who recognize him or are familiar with him as a fictional character could be fun! And finally, it'd be fun to play off some other Marvel peeps, too; he might not recognize most of you at all but some of you might recognize him at least by name. Surprisingly friendly/enthusiastic CR, wary CR, and/or discussion of universal differences could be cool? Just HMU, I'm sure we can figure out some fun stuff to do!

Canon: JJBA, but AU! Partly for playability, partly inspired by a hilarious comic. Basically, everything happens in canon more or less, but the reasons are far more contrived, full of bullshit, and mostly exist just to make dio look bad. It works.
Cabin and team: Upper 3, cabin C! Also red team again!
Little bit about them: Dio is an immortal vampire with a Stand, dead set on eliminating Fate and or God, depending on which one is making his life a living hell. He's decent enough if you can get past the fact that everything he says and does seems to ooze evil, and is responsible for the request for Crocodiles On A Train.
Hopes and dreams: Honestly I'm just here to have a good time. I have no plans!!

Canon: The Spectacular Spider-Man 2009. Otto is an AU (a they-u, even); they use they/them pronouns and it'd mean a lot to me if characters / tag narration would do so also. (Otto is happy to talk about gender thoughts with characters who are interested in that sort of thing.)
Cabin and team: Sleeper Lower One, Cabin B / Orange Team.
Little bit about them: A small nervous genius who became a confident supervillain, and had a reverse-shonen journey involving collecting supervillain friends to rule the world went head to head with the other underworld bosses of Manhattan for criminal empire supremacy.
Hopes and dreams: I'm really hoping for Ock to have more positive CR, settle down in themself, being convinced that some aspects of their approach aren't that good for them. I think the train is a great environment for nudging characters who aren't total monsters into doing better things.

Hopes and dreams: Does anyone want to fight with a fighty Kamen Rider? Sparring partners, rivals, I'm down for whatever. Also loved: people who will accept him as a human even though he's not, because that is absolutely the way to his good side. He is also easily manipulated by small children.

Character: Ayumi Yoshida
Canon: Detective Conan, also known as Case Closed in the official localization. Sorta. The thing is, she really comes from an AU of an AU of Detective Conan that ultimately ends up with her and several other characters from the series in Chaldea from Fate/Grand Order when the world ends. Little bit about them: Ayumi is still fundamentally the same sunshine child that she was in the Detective Conan: cheerful, kind, gentle, etc. It just so happens that the first impression she'll give off is that of a Japanese sukeban, and her manner of speech (read: we figured out that after a certain incident she'd start using "ore" as her personal pronouns) don't exactly dispel that illusion. She also has a gun and knows how to use magic now, but her primary goal is always to help people, and honestly the train might be a good break from constantly having to deal with the fact that she's responsible for having to save the world back home.
Hopes and dreams: People to mom at Ayumi! Grumpuses who need someone to sunshine at them! People who don't think Ayumi's weird exprtise in tactics is odd! Holmes is a lover of music, logic and, despite his sometimes cold exterior, bringing criminals to justice.
Hopes and dreams: Folks who can handle his particular brand of manic intensity/slothful torpor, children he can bribe to give him intel on everyone else (he will absolutely make the VT Irregulars a thing, just watch him), equally scientific minds, villains to temporarily thwart (with player permission ofc), fellow musicians... sky's the limit.

Little bit about them: So. Currently they're an anthropomorphic tiger from the cyberpunk near-future of 204X. Well cat-person themed after a tiger. Which isn't actually their original body, because they got stuck inside the virtual reality MMO that their aunt helped create (and they worked on) a couple months ago. It's a thing. Bacon's thirty-one, nonbinary, and very stressed out about the whole cyberattack that got them stranded. They just sent the I/O protagonist and her friends off on a quest to find a pair of 'ghosts in the machine' to learn the secrets behind Another World Online.
Hopes and dreams: I mean, I definitely want friends for them? And to be part of the science crew. And Bacon is definitely going to want to meet everyone's animals. (They wanted to be a zoologist as a kid, even if what they actually ended up doing was modeling animals for an MMO.)

Phineas here is close with quite a few nonbinary people (he's from the same they-u as Doc Ock up there) and is trans himself, and he's a tech genius and inventor... and he's also just totally blasé about animal people (his canon's version of Kraven the Hunter had himself turned into his very own custom fursona, basically) so Frankie's tiger form wouldn't even give him pause. Canon: Gatchaman Crowds Insight - this was the second season to a reimagining/reboot of Gatchaman where your magical girl transformation looks like something out of a mecha show and Big Brother is always watching...if Big Brother were Rui, anyway.
Cabin and team: Upper 5, Cabin B - Orange ...I may have a type...
Little bit about them: For a real world analogy, Rui essentially created and owns Google. She created a social media platform named GALAX to supplant the current social systems in Japan and essentially crowdsource good deeds and taking care of each other. It's run by an A.I. that she created and maintains named X. The themes around the show involve having way too much technology, surveillance and the good and bad that can come from social media. She's principled and determined and wants to make the world a better place.

A few facts about her include the fact she was born male at birth, did not go to high school, speaks three languages and she has a big sweet tooth. Jelly beans are her favourite. This is how she looks dressed up, in her day to day life, but alas for the moment she'll have to suffer being dressed down. She's not going to be thrilled about that.

Outside of that, her Gatcha form allows her to engage in combat. Her skills in this area surround lightning/electricity and teleportation.

Rui is also barely healed at the moment and coming in with some serious pain thanks to her last encounter, and her note is temporarily scarred.

Hopes and dreams: I am looking forward to everything, of course, which is unoriginal - but true. It should be fun, I hope!

Also people to argue with, because she is very definitely the kind of person who can easily rub people the wrong way.

Little bit about them:
Raised to think he was bastard born, and treated as much by his not quite step mom. Swore himself to, basically the country's army. Death broke his vows, and took his family home back - becoming King in the process because so the people named him. He's broody and a little broken, but he hides it well because he puts others ahead of himself always. He judges by action over words, and he's one of the most loyal men you'll ever find so long as you don't hurt him.

Hopes and dreams: He strives to have family, to have somewhere he belongs. He's always felt like an outsider growing up, even if Robb and Arya tried to make sure he knew he was their brother. So definitely looking for all the CR that leads to family feels in the found family kind of way. He loves pets, and he'll be a little sad he couldn't have Ghost with him too large so please let him pet your animals if you have them too. Also someone to help him stop and self care, because free time? What is free time when you come from a world that's constantly at war with each other and find yourself in charge of an entire country counting on you.
