Thanks to Bending, Leia may be able to help him out with various components if they get to know each other. Though she will want to know what he's planning to do with them, especially after said kitchen accidents.

He'll just say that he needs them for spell components... he's not sure who knows spells and what components go with what spells, so he'll be a little cagey for a bit.

Long as he can assure her he's not planning to blow anything up on purpose. X3 Some of those substances can be used to make explosives, after all, magic or no.

Also, on the more established character front, Lea might be interested to talk magic with him, since he got into Forging back in Diatu.

Not on purpose unless he's being threatened, no.

Caleb is generally happy to talk magic, especially theory - D&D magic is very very different from Kingdom Hearts magic in terms of execution, at least. xD

Good, then she might be willing to provide if he needs anything not reasonably obtainable by other means.

Theory usually isn't Lea's strong suit, but he can make an exception if a subject catches his interest. And yeah, KH magic is definitely different. X3 Diatu magic may be a bit closer though, hence what he learned about Forging there potentially being useful. Also? With him around, Caleb'll never need a Bunsen burner or the like. XD

Also Caleb's got cantrips for that, but it's appreciated. :V

Basically, combining spells and sometimes magical substances with traditional metal and glass-working to make magical objects. Magic swords, magic rings, stuff like that. Lea mostly focused on recreating protective accessories from his world.

Gotcha! Sadly Caleb can't be all that helpful on that front - not very good at that kind of crafting.

Maybe not, but they might be able to come up with some interesting stuff if they worked together, combining bits of both their skillsets. :3
