That could definitely be a lot of fun! I like the idea of him getting some CR where even if people found out he was a criminal and has facilitated some questionable things they wouldn't immediately think the worst of him. And Phineas isn't likely to be judgemental himself, in return, if that might be helpful for Ansem!

Once he starts remembering specifics about his regrets he'll certainly appreciate it, but yeah; it's my personal canon that he's very much the sort of 'let's focus on the good you can do instead of the bad you've done' in most cases. (Even himself, to a degree.) Yay redirecting negative energies!

That makes a lot of sense, and I really like that energy! It's a good thought, and Phineas is definitely inclined to be helping the other passengers out in this particular situation. And tbh, he was never really an actively try to hurt people sort of criminal, so he's unlikely to do anything like that on the train.
