Little bit about them: Prickly pugilist with a hidden squishy centre and a suspicious streak a mile wide. Often comes off like she's trying to insult people even when she's being sincere. Willing to throw down for fun or if someone needs punching. Enjoys a good research session, but unlike certain people knows when to take a break to eat and sleep.
Hopes and dreams: Do you want to build a conspiracy wall? Beau's your girl. She's going to be generally suspicious-slash-curious about the train's everything. And everyone. The multiverse is fascinating, but also why this? She will probably get invested in missions in spite of herself, but people to get invested in would also be awesome. Also people to argue with, because she is very definitely the kind of person who can easily rub people the wrong way.

Beau is super cool with a not-quite-Tabaxi. Cat people happen, no reason to be weird about it. They can be conspiracy friends.

Other than that I think she'd get along with most of my characters tbh. Stoic but awkward from Otoha, young and Fite from AU Ken, and Casper with... well, you know.

Caleb if you don't get a good night's sleep your spells won't refresh. Which is...probably less relevant if they're not on a mission.

I can definitely see her making friends with Casper! And am definitely interested in seeing how she bounces off the others. She is going to have Issues with who or whatever is recruiting kids, though, ohboy.

God if she shows hesitancy about that with Ken he will absolutely just offer to fight her.

I think she's enough of a contrary little shit herself to know better, especially when he's already here and there isn't exactly a Hupperdook or Nicodranas option.

TBH it's probably more likely to manifest as 'hey, want to lean some really nasty nerve strikes?' when she's dealing with the kids themselves.

My friend <3 I have no idea how things will fall out with Beau and Soldat but I am raring to go to find out. At the very least, she gets food shoved at her for every mission by them :D

...Also, I've somehow only just realized that he knows and was exploration buddies with Fjord, so if she ever finds that out, she might declare him one of her people by proxy.
