OOC Intro!

Welcome all new passengers to the Voidtrecker Express! Come and say hello here so we can get to know you! This post is for new players (and old players with new characters) to say hello and introduce themselves and everyone else to welcome them!

(Bacon's like super used to being around tech geniuses too. Their aunt Charley was like part of the team that literally revolutionized artificial intelligence in their world and then she retired from DARPA to make an MMO for funsies and to raise money for other science.)

(Oh, that is excellent. So many people from worlds with AI on this train! Phineas is gonna be real interested in that. And the concept of being actually sucked into a video game, because that opens up a lot of questions...
Bacon just seems great, btw. What a neat canon and character concept.)

And I'm glad you like them! Honestly, they're a pretty minor as a character in their canon, until like the final quarter of the game where it turns out that that one tiger in the labcoat who's always hanging in one of the faction bases (that you can have optional conversations with when you wander around said base) actually works for people who made that game and is sending you on a quest.
I just have a really firm idea of their personality/background/etc because Talia (I/O's creator) sometimes runs tabletop games in the setting and Bacon's also my PC for the one I'm in.
(I/O is SUCH a fun canon/setting, though. We've got a discord where people can make their own OCs for the setting and Talia posts stuff and occasionally updates people on how production for the RPG maker game is going. And there's like another discord that's just for those of us in production.)

Ha, that honestly sounds like a lot of fun! Both the neat reveal and getting to play tabletop in that setting. That does sound like a good way to really delve into and understand the character, and I look forward to seeing them around!
(I'm also kinda looking forward to I/O, now. It sounds like something I might want to check out!)

If you want to check out stuff about I/O, our main discord is here! We've got some character art in various places, a bunch of setting details on various info channels, and sometimes Talia puts up short-stories she's writing in the setting.
