I play quite a few characters in a number of games, but speaking for myself I'm normally plurking either about those, or about little things going on in life- I live in Canada with my partner and two cats, and hopefully one day I can swap from nights-retail-life to being an elementary teacher...

Character: Kiyoiri Matsuda
Canon: DCMK & F/GO AU, and OC - essentially the character was made for Detective Conan, and the AU was eventually combined with Fate/GO with herself and the others in her 'age' group taking the role of the game's protagonist.
Cabin and team: L1:D, Red Team
Little bit about them: First off, Permissions are here for those leery of tagging into AUs of this nature, and for gathering other things to avoid. Further warnings of what may arise from the background of her AU are included in this link.

Kiyoiri, who appears roughly 13, is a cloned character- rather, a clone of an existing character (hi Conan), but much of her background and themes are built in building identity for herself. Away from her source 'code' so to speak, and more importantly away from the criminal group which created her. She's a little stiff, and fairly blunt, but over all kind at heart and trying her best to learn more and more about the world as she can. Through the events of the Fate/ end of the AU in particular, she's come to create more grounded ideals for herself, and in who she is and wants to be- to that end, she's sworn off lethal force (and she does know how to apply it) unless absolutely necessary, and put her skill primarily into learning how to act as a medic instead.

She'll be coming in with a part of a Noble Phantasm, as was given to herself and her companions during one of the singularity missions in the AU- specifically, a seemingly normal (if not incredibly intelligent) crow she calls 'Takechirou', capable of perfect mimicry (save clothing) of Heroic Spirits.

Hopes and dreams: Naturally I'm looking forward to the cast, but I'm also very keen on a few things!
- Team CR is of course huge to me, as is Cabin CR; they're the people she'll probably be working with after all.
- Due to her preferences in role and mission work, I'm interested in her looking into the 'White Team' matters, and she'd likely seek it out for herself as well.
- People with similar attempting to people after knowing mostly just Mission & Crime backgrounds would definitely be neat, as she's never really encountered others similar to herself in that regard, beyond perhaps the occasional Heroic Spirit

Little bit about them:
⎔ Essek is a Dark Elf or Drow, so he's handsome elf man of about 120 years old with purple skin, white short hair, and lovely indigo eyes. He's rather careful and calm in his approach to most things, with a wonderful accent and a thoughtful approach to his speech.
⎔ He’s a wizard, a book casting nerd, and he’s very good at it. And very smart.
⎔ In fact, he’s so good at it and so nerdy that he really enjoys talking about it. So, that’s a good way to get him to talk.
⎔ He can come off as a bit aloof, quiet, confident bordering on arrogant, and judgmental, but he’s also charming, polite, and pleasant. Kind of softens the blow of his more unfriendly moments.
⎔ Things like trust and friends is very hard for him, they are pretty new concepts and he's not very good at allowing people close enough to become his friend or someone he trusts. He's a friendship slow burn, but he’s trying.
⎔ His jokes are the worst.
⎔ If you get past all that, get to those softer spots, he’s a really loyal, caring, gentle, and deeply lonely person.

Little bit about them: Jon is an early 30s nerd with an English lit degree from one of the Oxford schools, and specializes in research! He's also traumatized to hell and back because of his childhood and then his Archivist job. Short version: Jon is used to the supernatural and strange by now, wants desperately to help people while also questioning how to do it and also his humanity? He's very protective of the people close to him still. I'd say he's an uptight skeptic, but he's since mellowed out quite a bit. He's still a know-it-all prick but now he'll at least tease you about it.

I've got. A lot of information written up for terms and things Jon will probably reference, as well as a permissions opt-IN post. I'll be more than happy to explain any questions!
Hopes and dreams: Jon (and Martin with him) are going to be shaken up a bit with the point they're from and likely struggle from the start to settle in. He'll desperately need some normalcy and things to sort of ease him into "not being chased and hunted down and threatened and almost killed" constantly as that's been his life the last four years.
- Cabin and Team CR, I'm so sorry but you're stuck with him
- folks who can dish it back out to him. He's still a smartass, and with his ability to Know things he shouldn't, I would love it to get him in some trouble occasionally
- some positive cr?? he's not had many friendly faces that like. don't blame him for everything that's happened in a while and he will be confused
- that said, if he rubs your character wrong, FEEL FREE TO HATE HIM. HE IS PERFECT FOR HATING. He's used to it.

Little bit about them: Martin is a high strung British ginger who is very soft and fiercely protective of his boyfriend, Jon Sims. Honestly, given the way things went back home, even being on a weird train with Jon is going to be a MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT over literally anything at all he got to do back home. For real. He'll be a lot of domestic stuff once he's settled in. Also, low key has a couple of eldritch horror powers, but they are very weak.
Hopes and dreams: ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING tbh. I want him to meet the Hades cast and be terribly confused. I'm also a big Critical Role fan despite having seen zero episodes lmao. Familiarity by RP osmosis. Martin is going to be EXTREMELY devoted to his boyfriend, so probably no romantic ships, but please give this lonely man all of the friends.

- As someone who believes in fairness and justice, he is not afraid of sticking his nose into things and jumping to the defense of others.
- His interests include good wine, good poetry, and looking good. ✨
- He is worshipped as a goddess and can use magic to make himself a woman, and not only does he enjoy doing it, he also enjoys getting others to join him (if they have the means).
Hopes and dreams:
I'm open to most any CR! While definitely not impossible to offend, Shi Qingxuan is easygoing and chill with most types. (Negative CR is also good!)
- Of course Team and Cabin CR are always nice! He is the type who would like to know the people he's around!
- I don't intend to have him come out as a god right away, but I'd still like CR with characters who are into/attuned to god/magic/immortality sort of things.
- Please have fun and drink and play games with him, he loves it and craves it.
- He's actually very hardworking and diligent when it comes to missions, so I'd like to play with that.

About you: Mountain Time, they/them. I've burned through a lot of hobbies in my day - mostly creative things like writing, music, art - but am currently only actively writing in roleplay. I started off roleplaying on forums (yeah...), then social media in an ask-blog format (most of which no longer exist, like Formspring), and currently roleplay in private Discord servers. I have a couple other Dreamwidth accounts that are active when they need to be (heerequeerandfulloffear and rhy5w1nz for Be More Chill and Tales from the Borderlands respectively).

I'm excited to see so many yugiohs on here because I wrote Thief King Bakura from 2011 to 2017, so wow, nostalgia!

Character: Phil Connors

Canon: Phil is a weatherman from Pittsburgh. He's a bit of a jerk but has a normal life until he got sucked into an infinite time loop, whoops! He is taken from the point where he's exploring and taking advantage of his new time powers but is only a couple Groundhog Days away from a breakdown.

You may be familiar with the movie but not the musical - the storylines are identical but the canons are slightly different. My Phil, for instance, has no beef with the song "I Got You Babe," since he wakes up each morning to a charming groundhog-themed radio jingle instead.

Cabin and team: Cabin: Sleeper Lower One, Cabin E; Team Orange

Little bit about them: Phil at his worst is smarmy, self-obsessed, sleazy, sarcastic, and bitter. Phil at his best is passionate, hopeful, sweet, thoughtful, and... still sarcastic. But Phil's normal day, thanks to the time loop eliminating consequences for his actions, is an endless stream of donut-eating, salesman-punching, bank-robbing, drunk-driving, self-medicating, womanizing, and groundhog-hating. For this reason, his permissions are broad and I encourage you to check them out.

Hopes and dreams: I have no idea who is going to want CR with a late-30s meteorologist with unreality problems, but I'm open to absolutely anything. I know a couple people here OOC, so I expect that Phil will have a conversation with Rich Goranski and/or Handsome Jack. Everything else is open!

Phil will show up on the platformed overwhelmed and may do some crimes, but he's used to being the hero and villain of his own self-centered story. I'm curious how things will go when he meets some real heroes and villains for the first time.

He has villain permissions (see above) due to unreality issues, but he is never cruel for the sake of cruelty. He's not particularly dangerous, especially not to the children on the train.

* She is a budding astronomy nut and excitable tinkerer. She the kind of girl who’d talk your head off over the stars and would happily field strip a remote control and rebuild it good as new.

* As New Sailor Moon, she’s… stupidly powerful. And she’ll use that power to protect everyone.

* She’s not too keen on trusting people, but give her a reason and she’ll be your best friend!
Hopes and dreams:
* Friendship of all kinds! She’s spent most of her hero career working solo. Show her that more the merrier!

I'm an internet old who is technically in EST, but my work hours are all kinds of all over the place, so when I'm awake and available to tag is kinda perpetually a mystery, even to me. I'm very easily distracted and time is fake, so if it's been a few days since I've tagged you, you might want to prod me. There's a decent chance it's gotten lost in the ether. Gender is dumb and I've never devoted the brain space to actually figure that out, so use whatever pronouns you feel like, just pick a set and stick to it I guess? Kingdom Hearts is my main fandom these days, but I've been known to poke around in Hikaru no Go, Fullmetal Alchemist, Prince of Tennis, Harry Potter, and others. Hobbies include procrastinating, watching random crap (currently, primarily 911: Lone Star, but lots of other stuff on the schedule I've been ignoring too, like Merlin, the Magicians, the new Fruits Basket remake, etc.). Sometimes I write, supposedly. I've been trying new things like candle making and stuff lately?

Little bit about them: You guys might know of him from Vexen, as he's Ansem and Vexen's adopted son. As one might expect from such a child, he's incredibly intelligent and loves Science and books of all kinds. He was a terribly shy and anxious little boy, he spent ten years without a heart being his best snarky emo self Zexion, and now he's human again- not so shy anymore, but his old friend Anxiety came back along with the rest of his emotions, yaaaaaaaaay. He's basically an overeager puppy wanting to make everyone happy, but he'd also rather just be in the library reading a book than actually people. He can generally be found there. If he's not, someone probably finally lured him off for sleep or food. He has illusion magic, but won't want to use it. Isn't trauma fun? :D
Hopes and dreams: Obviously cast CR will be great- there's some stuff that needs to get worked out there for sure. Otherwise, he generally just needs to learn how to Human- dude has spent half of his life as a Nobody, after all, including his entire adolescence. He needs to learn things like emotional regulation and anxiety management. Actual friends would be awesome- especially friends around his own age. (He's far too used to being around a lot of older men, lol.) Interactions with women who are not psychotic thunder crickets would probably also do him good, even though he definitely doesn't sway that way in a romantic sense.

Canon: The Soulwood series by Faith Hunter, which is a spin off of the Jane Yellowrock, Vampire Hunter series.

Little bit about them: Nell is 23, raised in God's Cloud of Glory Church (bmore a cult, really) near Knoxville TN in modern day USA - just with shifters and vampires and all that jazz, married at 12, widowed at 18, and now a semi-respectable widow woman who has lived almost entirely off the grid her whole life. She makes her owns teas, creams, herbal remedies, etc; knows how to handle guns and do basic maintenance on a variety of machines; and has the ability to commune with the earth, encourage plant growth, and a wide variety of other interesting things. Her application gives a lot more detail.
Hopes and dreams: All the CR! All of it! She will definitely want to get some things growing in the greenhouse and gardens and will definitely want to spend time in the library.

Lan Wangji / The Untamed AU / Blue Team

I pick a fandom and hyper-fixate for at least a year but I have a large cross section so anything is game.

Character: Lan Wangji, but make it AU
Canon: This is Lan Wangji from the untamed specifically, with one key difference: for this Lan Wangji, Wei Wuxian never returned. So he made the choice to cultivate to immortality in hopes to meet his reincarnation.
Cabin and team: Sleeper Upper 3, team blue.
Little bit about them: Lan Wangji has been in this world a really, really long time. Having cultivated to immortality he's lived from the height of the cultivation to roughly a little before the modern day, a journey that has had a more than a few ups and downs. Full details here but in short he's a strong cultivator who has strong morals, a stoic disposition and a small inability with technology. He spends his time as a lecturer for Cloud Recesses, writing music and breeding prize winning rabbits. While he is immortal, he can still die from injury and disease, but he really wouldn't like to test that out.
Hopes and dreams: He needs to get out there and make more friends, (preferably ones that won't die so easily on him) and putting him in an enclosed space is one way to make him.
