About you: they/them in PST, though I work graveyard shift over the weekend so my tagging times are ODD HOURS. Fandoms range from Magnus Archives (horror) to BNHA/Sailor Moon/Demon Slayer/generally most anime or manga, to critical role and adventure zone, to DC and Marvel tv universes! I'll give just about anything a fair shot. Outside of that and rp, I work in resin crafting and needlefelting.

Character: Jonathan "Jon" Sims
Canon: The Magnus Archives, a horror anthology podcast set in London dealing with the supernatural and esoteric!
Cabin and team: Red Team, U2: C
Little bit about them: Jon is an early 30s nerd with an English lit degree from one of the Oxford schools, and specializes in research! He's also traumatized to hell and back because of his childhood and then his Archivist job. Short version: Jon is used to the supernatural and strange by now, wants desperately to help people while also questioning how to do it and also his humanity? He's very protective of the people close to him still. I'd say he's an uptight skeptic, but he's since mellowed out quite a bit. He's still a know-it-all prick but now he'll at least tease you about it.

I've got. A lot of information written up for terms and things Jon will probably reference, as well as a permissions opt-IN post. I'll be more than happy to explain any questions!
Hopes and dreams: Jon (and Martin with him) are going to be shaken up a bit with the point they're from and likely struggle from the start to settle in. He'll desperately need some normalcy and things to sort of ease him into "not being chased and hunted down and threatened and almost killed" constantly as that's been his life the last four years.
- Cabin and Team CR, I'm so sorry but you're stuck with him
- folks who can dish it back out to him. He's still a smartass, and with his ability to Know things he shouldn't, I would love it to get him in some trouble occasionally
- some positive cr?? he's not had many friendly faces that like. don't blame him for everything that's happened in a while and he will be confused
- that said, if he rubs your character wrong, FEEL FREE TO HATE HIM. HE IS PERFECT FOR HATING. He's used to it.
- If your character has ever experienced anything supernatural or strange, I would love to offer the chance to provide Jon with a statement of the experience.

Eva will do her best to help her new cabin mate. And befriend him.

Also sorry for all the pokemon fur in the cabin from Princess (clefairy) and 'Nona (ninetales). Mostly Princess's. He's a pink fluff of a shedding machine.

If we do not have one thread that is just one or two comments of Princess and the cat trying to figure out who's Boss, I will be sad.

One or two, as Eva's old lady tangela, Skeeta (Eva's pet turned Emotional Support Pokemon on the Train), is 20+ years Old, Very Tired of This, Would like To Sleep, and will use Sleep Powder on both because she wants to sleep thank you very much.

Phil will be happy to find someone to pretend to be normal with (after first day jitters). I'd love for him to give a statement, although he'll probably be dismissive of anything else supernatural ala Jon pretending to be normal in S1.

But if Jon wants someone to read a newspaper next to, awkward public-transit style, occasionally clearing their throat and complaining about the coffee, Phil's your guy!

Yeah Jon is definitely going to be trying to pretend to be normal for a while so he will absolutely have these Totally Normal Human Interactions with Phil!

Rich didn't have anything explicitly supernatural happen to him (at least, he thinks it's just techy bullshit that's maybe a little more advanced than it had any right to be) but he could still provide a statement about the weird supercomputer that ended up in his brain!

And in fact, said supercomputer's data is still chilling on a hard drive somewhere on the train, if he wanted to poke at it.

Either way, I imagine these two might butt heads a little because Rich does look a little bit like a bratty punk and Jon looks like the stuffy kind of authority figure he can harass.

You are absolutely correct, Jon is EXACTLY the kind of authority figure he can harass. He's from end of the series so he's a LITTLE more mellow than s1 asshole Jon, but he can still be BOTHERED IMMENSELY.
