April Information and CR meme!
We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.
IC Month
This month is (still) the month of Kazoo. Days can be found here.
The thought of the month is "A journey well shared is a journey well enjoyed".
This means: Varied CR. The first thread with each character set in the month of Kazoo will earn you two bonus points during March and April.
Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during April AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC!
The ingredient of the month is tomato. Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom, refreshed at the platform, and characters are welcome to make other food with them.
This month’s chore assignments are:
Blue: Laundry
Purple: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
Red: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Orange: Meal Preparation
The Train
As the month reaches the halfway point in the month of Kazoo, the train will stop to pick up new passengers.
As a reminder, you can list things that characters have added to the train here. Just comment under the header of the carriage you are adding to!
Important Dates
This month’s event will be a train event on the 10th and 11th of April. We currently have no submitted player-led plots or events for April.
The TDM will be posted on the 16th. Reserves will open on the 18th. Apps are between the 22nd and the 29th, and AC will run between the same dates.

We ask players to please submit any plots that will be unavoidable, widespread or both to the player plot calendar. This is to ensure that a mod has reviewed it, that events don't pile up, and that when relevant, we can open the dressing carriage and put everyone in matching outfits. It also means you can check the calendar for upcoming events or plots!
Our new players (and old players who want a refresher) might find it useful to read gameplay before the platform. As always the mods are happy to answer any questions you might have.

Noctis Lucis Caelum
About them: Noctis is a perpetually exhausted, very well meaning, but doomed prince. He’ll do a million side quests to help out the little guy and then nap through the big meeting. He often doesn’t mean to be lazy or slack off! He’s just got no energy. (Think of what an overworked university student behaves like - that’s Noct.) You’ll find him playing video games, watching movies, and sleeping everywhere.
He’s from the original timeline, but he just got to Altissia - so there’s a whole lot of stuff in his canon that hasn’t happened to him yet.
Plans: Noctis has a free dance card - no plans except his desire to not think about how screwed people are at home without him doing his job. He’ll welcome any distractions from that really.
CR wanted: Friends! Mom friends, dad friends, troll friends, sweet friends. He’s got an enabler friend already, Noct says he’s the best.
Things to avoid: Please just give me a head’s up if your character knew a Noct (any version) and has future canon deets to spill. I’m okay with it happening, but advanced warning is great (so I can plot fallout). Thanks!
