So you got put into Purple. Or you like Purple enough to stick around more often than not. Great! Then this one's for you.

THE OFFICIAL PURPLE TEAM CENSUS (IC SURVEY; CLICK FOR FIRST TIME READERS/NEWCOMERS)

Welcome to Purple. On missions, our objectives usually revolve around combat and protection of groups (towns, escorting), and so as missions can get dangerous, we have prepared the following to guide and help everybody prepare.

WHEN A MISSION IS CALLED, a meeting will be held by the team leads, or a liaison on behalf of the leads. Roles will be distributed based on who will be coming with the team, and a headcount made. People are asked to let a team lead know if they’ll be swapping out to another team. If you feel you can better support another team, please do.

Purple Team organizes itself by the following roles:

🟣 Lead: Resource and talent management, team organizers; keeps track of team, arranges meetings; available on and off mission
🟣 Liaison: Keeps track of team members, helps with morale; will notify a lead or request aid when necessary; off mission, help answer questions and support team efforts (optional)
🟣 Inventory Manager: Keeps stock of supplies on the train, distributes them to suppliers before missions
🟣 Combatants: Physical and magical fighters
🟣 Non-Combatants:

➜ Medics: those who will focus on medical healing through magical and non-magical means
➜ Gatherers: for those who will help gather resources and equipment if and when available
➜ Suppliers: for those who can help carry and distribute supplies (food, weapons, etc)
➜ Communications: for those who will track the communication lines and contact other teams for regular updates



A person may take on whichever role better suits the mission environment, and also the individual at the time. If you’re suited for multiple roles, then we’ll support your talents as best we can on each mission. Sometimes, gatherers won’t be necessary; on another, we may have a greater need for medical assistance.

🟣 Roles are voluntary. Other than team leads and inventory managers, which require sticking to Purple Team more, characters (and players!) should feel free to swap teams as they please. Due to the size of Purple, this is ICly encouraged!

* Generally affable, empathetic, and social. Very protective of children, pets, and the oppressed.
* 300+ years old with an equal breadth of experience, including yeeting herself across universes and surviving with the clothes on her back. Has lived among many different times, places, and cultures. Purple missions are basically what she does for fun with her best friend.
* Comes with a gun that is good at making doors because it can take out and then replace squares of material. Downside: drains the battery a lot faster than the standard weapon setting.
* Known to only a few in game, but cannot stay dead and has a sense of self-preservation to match (read: non-existent), so probably will come off as super reckless.
* Will probably stick with purple, but may switch if needed for one of her more unusual skills.

Oh also Sam's suit provides him with an addictive substance that he's 'rewarded' with whenever he's in violent altercations. If he gets too much of it at once he'll start going insane with blood lust. Typical borderlands stuff.

Not really a people person but extremely good at crowd control, whether that means crowd control re: monsters or crowd control re: herding noncombatants elsewhere. Also since Asch is on blue team, he will probably end up doing blue missions a lot since his reasoning is "purple team has enough people already, and good luck getting me and Asch separate." ...it might depend on what exactly the missions are, though, because IC Jade and Asch might decide they would be more useful for Purple team this time around.

Also Jade will hate being told what to do without having any say in it, but I assume people around here won't be expecting that of him.

Blue team, primarily here because Jade is, since they have a resonance bond.

Asch is a blade, which means that he doesn't injure in the same way as a human, and if he dies, he reverts to a core crystal. This is all he'd note down, mostly for the sake of "if I die please pick up my core crystal and return it to Jade ASAP."

Also, as noted, he has an AU twin on red team, who is human. They're. They're dealing.

✔️ I have first aid training, and I can assist with surgeries. Ghost powers can make it a lot easier.
✔️ As for gathering, supplies, and communication, I'm able to fly about 120 miles per house, and pretty strong, so I can carry a lot fast. I'm also rather charming if we need to get supplies from people! As for communication, if we don't have a device, I'm a good runner.
✔️ I can do pretty much any role you need in a pinch.
