We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.

IC Month

This month is the month of Kazoo. Days can be found here.

The thought of the month is "A journey well shared is a journey well enjoyed".

This means: Varied CR. The first thread with each character set in the month of Kazoo will earn you two bonus points during March and April.

Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during April AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC!

The ingredient of the month is tomato. Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom and characters are welcome to make other food with them.

This month’s chore assignments are:
Blue: Laundry
Purple: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
Red: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Orange: Meal Preparation

The Train

As the month moves onto the month of Kazoo, the train will stop to pick up new passengers. When everyone rejoins the train they will find a new sleeper carriage.

As a reminder, you can list things that characters have added to the train here. Just comment under the header of the carriage you are adding to!

Important Dates

This month’s event will be a world event on the 11th - 25th of March. (An info and plotting post will go up on the 7th)

The TDM will be posted on the 16th. Reserves will open on the 18th. Apps are between the 22nd and the 29th. AC will run from the 23rd to the 30th of March.

Character: Trunks Brief (Future)
About them: Future version of Vegeta and Bulma's son, who grew up in a dystopian near-apocalypse where the world is terrorized by two psychopathic and homicidal androids. Despite this, he's a friendly, if occasionally shy, person who's used to protecting others and will be one of the first to put himself between others and danger. The train has actually been surprisingly good for him, as it's allowed him to experience normal aspects of life (like a girlfriend), get to know his parents (yes, even Vegeta), and make friends, while still protecting worlds and helping others.
Plans: ICly he has a romantic fancy date set up with Cassie Cage, but otherwise I don't have anything. He does have a full schedule of training but he'll make time for other things too.
CR wanted: I'm open to pretty much anything.

I'd love some CR here. I think I mentioned I'm a bit (not overly) familiar with DBZ, so I understand where Trunks is coming from in terms of not trusting a robot, especially one called Murderbot; to be fair, Murderbot'd be 'valid' after learning Trunk's POV. It might be fun to have some negative CR if you're up for that, with Trunks sus of Murderbot and Murderbot just dealing with it?

Character: Bulma Briefs

About them: Bulma is from Dragon Ball Super's timeline, at the very end & including the new Broly movie. (Her icons will go back to normal tomorrow for March!) She's been through a lot from Dragon Ball to Dragon Ball Super, but in general is the same Bulma as ever. She's generally pretty agreeable, but has a bit of a snap temper and will tend to mother people around her kids' age. She likes to boast about her family and her genius, and is CRAU'd from Empethias!

Plans: Right about now, no specific plans. I do have her pretty consistently messing with parts and etc to see what she can come up with, and some plans to make battle bots. Eventually, I'd like for her to make a GR for Vegeta and Trunks that could translate into a gym for others too! Of course, she'll want to move on to bigger and better things as she gets her bearings with what she can do invention wise.

CR wanted: I'm down for anything! Not looking for anything specific. If you wanna do it, let's plot it!

Things to avoid: Don't talk about her age. Even Goku is scared of a slap from Bulma.

About them: Asriel is a monster prince who died and did a bunch of time looping and killed a bunch of folks and now he's back to normal again and everything is totally fine! (spoilers he is not and it is not)
Plans: No plans! This'll be his intro, so just finding some footing and settling in, I imagine.
CR wanted: It'd be nice to have some friends! Of any age, really; though he is a kid, he's not really in the market for like, substitute parental figures or anything, and attempts to be that may not go over so well. 
Things to avoid: I mean....he's 12 and also literally just got here so no shipping. Not necessarily looking for anything violent or intense right now either, let's settle in a bit first.

About them: He's from The Raven Cycle. A 19-year-old psychic who hasn't actually told anyone he's psychic yet. He's on the quieter side, has a heart of gold, and really misses his bf. He's also team orange.
Plans: I have one plan. This month I said I was going to put up a network post for him asking for people to teach him how to fight, except time got away from me and that didn't happen. So sometime after the platform I'll put up the post for him.
CR wanted: Anything except romance because he's got a boyfriend.
Things to avoid: Nothing I can think of!

Character: Amery Vallet
About them: He's from The Volstovic Cycle. A nobleman and airman in Volstov's Dragon Corps during their war against the Ke-Han Empire, before he met his untimely demise. Most of the time he comes off as prickly, standoffish, and rarely smiles, but he's not-so-secretly sassy. More secretly, he's a gooey romantic and cares a lot about people. You know, when his temper isn't getting the best of him. He's also team purple.
Plans: He'll be arriving on platform day and I have zero plans for him!
CR wanted: Anything and everything!!
Things to avoid: Nothing I can think of!

Ai Haibara / Shiho Miyano

Character: Ai Haibara (on the roster: Shiho Miyano)
About them: By all appearances, Haibara is a normal 7-year-old with the exception that she is honestly more mature than most adults. This is because she is actually an 18-year-old genius biochemist who has been de-aged thanks to a drug she was working on.
She can often be found in the Medical Car or Triage Car doing work that isn't well-suited to children (checking on medicines, tracking their usage, etc.) or drinking coffee in the Dining Car.
Plans: If the next mission world allows it, I fully intend to put forth that her and her canonmates get sucked into solving a murder. OTHER THAN THAT nada.
CR wanted: Honestly, either children who want to make friends with her because she is also a child, adults who will try and take care of her because she appears to be a child, or adults who chill with her and take her seriously because she DOES act just like an adult, she's terrible about pretending to be a kid.

About them: Mo Dao Zu Shi; The second master of Gusu Lan sect, Lan WangJi is a powerful cultivator used to protect others who are unable to protect themselves. He is usually very hard to read as he is unused to expressing emotions. He is also the husband of Wei WuXian.
Plans: Nothing specific in the works. He will be leading the Blue Team and all that this entails.
CR wanted: Anything is welcome. Good, bad, neutral. Neutral is probably more likely than bad... but there are some capable of it.

About them: He was a rich, egotistical, CEO of a weapons manufacturing company- but now he's an AI in a robot body. He's a jerk, but he has undeniable charisma and above average intelligence.
Plans: I still want to do the whole SQUIP fiasco thing with Rich - now including Murderbot and other tech people. Gotta iron out the details of that. He is down to help with Entrapta's combat robot project. I want to force him to talk about his daughter, now that the de-aging event has revealed he had one. I want him to mess around in V and Murderbot's bodies at some point. He'll be at the dance - having signed up three people without their permission. Gonna adopt a cat-girl, cause he can.
CR wanted: I'm up for anything, really. If you want Jack to antagonize your character, leave me a comment, because I am totally up for that. If you DON'T want Jack to antagonize your character, leave me a comment so I can keep him away.
Things to avoid: Nope.

Character: Ichigo Kurosaki
About them: Main protag of Bleach, taken post Thousand Year Blood War but pre-epilogue. Married to Grimmjow and happy as can be about that.
Plans: With Wen Qing leaving, Ichigo will be taking over as the unofficial chief medic. In his world, he's only halfway through med school so he's trying his best. Also, there's gonna be a TON of schmoop and flirtation between him and his hubby at the party. The pressure of being basically in charge of the med car will probably induce night terrors because good god has he been through hell and back a few times in his canon.
CR wanted: More med car interactions, people dragging him out of the med car. Right now his strongest CRs are with Raven and Grimmjow so I'm more than happy to expand that.
Things to avoid: Nothing is coming to mind right now, but if there is something I will bring it up with whomever the CR is with so we can work around it.

Ken will be periodically checking on at the med car like Wen Qing told him to just for keeping track of his weight. He's underweight by a good few pounds before he reaches 'slight', so that needs to be kept track of.

Otoha will inevitably get hurt on mission so Ichigo may need to yell at him for that.

Casper will check in the med car (we've already talked about that) and will be happy to explain his weird biology as much as he can. He'll also explain his first aid healing skills (don't ask him to do anything with putting hands into bodies, he'll just stare into the distance remembering the Cerberus Incident) and general willingness to be a listening ear if someone needs it. He can also give Ichigo dreamless sleep if he wants, or work on making Ichigo something to absorb bad dreams.

And also I think they probably have a good bit in common? Kids who could see ghosts their whole lives, suddenly find out their parentage is not as normal as they thought it was, chucked into a world of fighting they did not understand...

About them: From Tobari of the Dawn. Super OP two-tailed fox demon that absolutely adores humans and wants to protect and befriend all of them! Of course, he understands that not all humans want his friendship and is happy to watch over them from afar, too. He's also really open to others who want to help and take care of him, even though he's more than capable of being a one-man band, and will absolutely accept help from others. His dream is to create a paradise where yokai and humans can coexist. He just became one of the Three Great Demons back home and worked things out with his mom before arriving here. He's going to miss home, but he'll strive to get a lot done here, too. Despite being so idealistic, he's a fantastic leader.
Plans: He's just arriving, so nothing yet.
CR wanted: Bring him all the humans, please! They don't even have to get along with him. He just wants to appreciate all that you are. All kinds of CR are welcome. Just uh... don't pick on humans; it won't go well for you. (Or do, if you want your butt kicked). Tobari isn't likely to kill anybody ever. But he isn't above beating sense into them.
Things to avoid: I'm pretty squicky against blood and gore, but if you do want something to do with those, talk it out with me. I can work with most things as long as I have a good idea what's going to happen. Also, I'm not kidding about him being OP. Please look at his app for ability details. And feel free to talk to me if you want to find workarounds; I'm happy to talk out nerfing. I do have permissions if you want to opt out of things entirely. Just be aware not talking about them first may make it difficult for Tobari to interact with your characters without a workaround.

About them: Fire Emblem: Awakening - A shy dancer with a love for music, cute things, and baking. She's empathetic, kind, warm, and welcoming, but underestimates herself and her own abilities on a regular basis.
Plans:
- I'm still pretty new (and so is Olivia), so mostly just acclimating. It's in my to-do for the month to do a catch-all / open log for March.
- She's on team orange, so I'm sure she'll be very happy to be spending some time cooking / baking.
- Pretty sure she's going to be hitting up the music car and making use of the performing stage to do some dance practise when she thinks no one is watching.
CR wanted:
- Pretty open here. Negative, positive, all the shades in between!
Things to avoid:
- Olivia is not going to help anyone kill or hurt other people or animals or living, sentient things. She will also not help vandalise or do generally bad things.

A time and space traveler that's much older than she looks, she comes from an alternate timeline where the UK started falling into fascism after London was essentially nuked when a spaceship crashed into it. Ex-military. Built both dimension-crossing and time-traveling machines. Curious, mischievous, caring. Probably a responsible adult.
People may remember her younger self burntlikethesun as part of Red Team from Fiddlesticks to Imagination and they might see why during the mission.
Plans: The Doctor's arrival will be something, I'm sure, and she's signed up for a blind date. Will start training for the mission.
CR wanted: All of it. More than willing to do the heavy lifting when it comes to friendship and very very patient.

About them: Psychic clone child soldier from ZZ Gundam, a classic series about horrible space war; a very serious eleven year old with a lot of trauma, who is learning to love herself. Plans: She's trying to learn a little more about machinery and electronics, since that's been something she's been useful for lately. Experiencing what childhood she can.
CR wanted: Friends with fun interests, adults to wonder wtf is up with her and try to parent at her.
Things to avoid: Good for pretty much everything.

Character: Rich Goranski
About them: Rich is from the off-Broadway musical Be More Chill! He's just your average reformed bully with a deactivated supercomputer in his head that tried to tell him what to do. He got rid of it after some very traumatic situations, and is recovering here while trying to deal with his martyr and hero complexes.
Also he's extremely bisexual.
Plans: So. Rich has finally acquired his Mountain Dew and Mountain Dew Red, which means this is the month! He's going to be following through with his deal with Handsome Jack, and reactivating his SQUIP in the attempt to get information on the train. When this fails, Jack was supposed to destroy his SQUIP. But he will not do that.
Which means this month, Rich is going to likely be piloted by someone else! I'm going to give Handsome Jack's mun reign on a lot of my threads this month, so if you want Rich to be an asshole to someone before they realize that is decidedly *not Rich*, hit me!
CR wanted: This month is probably going to be gaining Rich enemies lmao, but outside of that, I'm up for anything! Friends, crushes, someone to slap him upside the head when they find out what an idiot he was... That kind of thing!
Things to avoid: I always love negative CR, but I would like to mostly avoid people doubting Rich's backstory in regards to his abuse, it's a little too uncomfy for me. If your character is likely to do this, let me know and we can plot out what's far enough.

Ssssso Otoha will probably recognize it's not Rich very quickly and if that does happen he may well restrain Rich until he can figure something out. We can save that for a bit later in the month but big brother will be out for blood.

He's legitimately likely to try to kill Jack when he figures out what happens so we should probably plot... around that...
