We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.

IC Month

This month is the month of Kazoo. Days can be found here.

The thought of the month is "A journey well shared is a journey well enjoyed".

This means: Varied CR. The first thread with each character set in the month of Kazoo will earn you two bonus points during March and April.

Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during April AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC!

The ingredient of the month is tomato. Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom and characters are welcome to make other food with them.

This month’s chore assignments are:
Blue: Laundry
Purple: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
Red: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Orange: Meal Preparation

The Train

As the month moves onto the month of Kazoo, the train will stop to pick up new passengers. When everyone rejoins the train they will find a new sleeper carriage.

As a reminder, you can list things that characters have added to the train here. Just comment under the header of the carriage you are adding to!

Important Dates

This month’s event will be a world event on the 11th - 25th of March. (An info and plotting post will go up on the 7th)

The TDM will be posted on the 16th. Reserves will open on the 18th. Apps are between the 22nd and the 29th. AC will run from the 23rd to the 30th of March.

Character: Handsome Jack
About them: He was a rich, egotistical, CEO of a weapons manufacturing company- but now he's an AI in a robot body. He's a jerk, but he has undeniable charisma and above average intelligence.
Plans: I still want to do the whole SQUIP fiasco thing with Rich - now including Murderbot and other tech people. Gotta iron out the details of that. He is down to help with Entrapta's combat robot project. I want to force him to talk about his daughter, now that the de-aging event has revealed he had one. I want him to mess around in V and Murderbot's bodies at some point. He'll be at the dance - having signed up three people without their permission. Gonna adopt a cat-girl, cause he can.
CR wanted: I'm up for anything, really. If you want Jack to antagonize your character, leave me a comment, because I am totally up for that. If you DON'T want Jack to antagonize your character, leave me a comment so I can keep him away.

We've discussed a ton of shit, but yes, at some point Jack will pilot Murderbot and MURDERBOT WILL NOT LIKE IT. Whatever, though, I'm down for anything you have in mind :D

Its body taken over *specifically* for combat use would probably trigger Murderbot some, considering its background - which I am here for, honestly. XD Albeit from what you described it'd be *different* use than before, but still enough similarities, probably, to make it go 'fuck'.

Otoha will murder him if he hurts Rich. Like I'm not even jokingly talking about it, he will actually have to be held back from destroying Jack.

Casper on the other hand will find Jack annoying and will be protective of Cherry, but not be impressed by any of Jack's claims of wealth or power. If you want someone to no-sell Jack's bluster, Casper's your guy. The only issue is if Jack acquires a gun, he has trauma from that.

Welp. Jack does indeed have a gun. He and Entrapta built it for the last mission. I believe its locked up in the armory though and he's only allowed to have it for missions.

Hm... Though I have to figure out why he'd bug the crap out of poor Than. Maybe at first just to try to keep him quiet about what Jack said to him when he thought was his daughter...?

That's the issue, isn't it? That's the only real connection they have so far unless Jack wants to know about the fall of the titans which isn't exactly relevant at all.

Maybe the mission will start something even though they are on different team. I also see that they are in the same sleeper car... on completely different ends, but still, that is a thing.
