IC Month

This month is the month of Quicksand. Days can be found here.

The thought of the month is "I would rather walk with a friend in the dark, than alone in the light."

This means: Any thread where you tag new CR will earn you two bonus points in March and April.

Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during April AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC.

The ingredient of the month is Pineapple. Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom, refreshed at the platform, and characters are welcome to make other food with them.

This month’s chore assignments are:

Blue: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Purple: Meal Preparation
Red: Laundry
Orange: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms

The Train

As a reminder, you can list things that characters have added to the train here. Just comment under the header of the carriage to which you are adding. There is also a handy spreadsheet here!

The following changes have been voted on this month:

~ The cinema now has allows characters to watch documentaries. It is an eclectic mix of subjects from sports to history of random worlds to 'how it works' series.

~ Each new character will now arrive with a basic first aid kit- the contents are adjusted for species. It also includes some basic painkillers suited to the character as well as any medication that character requires. Old characters will also be receiving the same and regular refills will arrive just like with the wash kits.

~ There is now a selection of meat in the stores including venison, chicken, turkey, bacon, turkey bacon and cod. These will be refreshed each month.

All this has been updated on the recipe, cinema and gameplay pages.

Important Dates

This month’s mission will run from the 13th to 26th of March.

The TDM will be posted on the 17th. Reserves will open on the 19th. Apps are between the 22nd and the 29th March and AC from the 23rd to the 30th March.

Other Info

~ As can probably be guessed, we are at a part in the plot where the stakes are ramping up quite a bit. We are nearing the end of 'chapter four' of the game which will come to a climax in April. We will make sure that there is time after April for characters to catch their breath and recoup but its going to be a bumpy couple of months (for the characters not for you players, hopefully you guys are going to have a blast...)

~ The roster has been updated with points for this month.

~ A reminder about the VOTING POOL. Exactly how it works is explained in detail on that page but it is a way for passengers to band together to buy larger or longer term items, including carriages themselves. Everyone gets 5 votes to start and new characters will be allowed to swap their initial 3 points for a vote if wish in their first month only.

~ From next month the voting pool will close for votes at the same time as AC closes and re-open when the platform post goes up. This is to give the mods some leeway in getting new changes up in time for the info post. So make sure to get those votes in in good time!

~ We have been trying to do EMP regularly- please let us know any cast mates you would like in the thread below!

About them: An alternate version of Usagi Tsukino who was only one of two Sailor Guardians awoken to battle the Dark Kingdom. She has a terrible streak of doing things on her own, but having Kyoko around makes things easier on her and she's learning.
Plans: Back during the past event, Usagi gave up four of the crystals she held to reawaken the rest of the Inner Sailors, meaning she's lost a bit of power. She never got the chance to give away the others before everything went to hell and back, so she'll be adjusting to all of this. Beyond that, not much.

Hunk is a paladin of Voltron, pilot of the yellow lion and guardian of Earth. He's definitely in the reluctant savior category, not wanting to have been chosen but answering the call because he likes to make people happy and will be doing much the same here. He loves to cook, and food and engineering are his two biggest talents. He's got experience saving planets and just climbed out of an intergalactic war with a warrior race run by ancient corrupted tyrants.
Plans: I just want to get him settled. I'm not particularly out to make enemies for him since he's pretty soft-hearted. I mostly want to make him some friends and maybe give him some projects that he'll believe in that he can invest in. That'll go a long way to getting him settled in.
CR wanted: Any of the above. People who do science. People who are nerds. People who do high fantasy magic. People who like to make food. People that can put up with puns.
Things to avoid: Anything particularly outwardly malicious. He's new and soft and I want to take it easy on him.

About them: Cabin UD2:B
Yondu's been around on the train for a while. He's put the souls of his crew to rest and during the last event he found out that his people commemorated him, which he didn't expect but he's glad to know. He didn't get in contact with anyone, though.

Now he's even more concerned about what's going to happen to them all. He's been trying to help people find out information on the Ministry and the Void to the best of his ability, as well as find resources that aren't Ministry specific.
Plans: He's getting a Celebi named Twig that he'll be trying to get used to having around. I need to have him talk more to T'Challa to find out what happened in his universe (since he finally admitted to Vegeta that he has an AU son around and needs advice). He's going to be helping Vegeta out with his own monkeyshine thing. Mid-month or so he's going to be asking people that have been around for a while about dreams they had early on, prior to his time, so he can make a compilation of themes and present them to some useful NPC or another in full "What the hell is all of this?!" glory.
CR wanted: He gets a little catty but he's a team player, and definitely wants to work towards a common goal. So people he can get behind or work alongside are both wonderful. If your character needs fatherly/mentor protecting or "are ya winnin' son" encouragement, he's also your guy.
Things to avoid: The usual. I don't like disabling/letting other people control his arrow or doing mind-control unless it's discussed a lot beforehand.

Yondu and T'Challa definitely need to talk more (and part of that is my fault, I really dropped the ball during February, whoops). I'm excited for them to get to know each other. Kitty also wants to check in on Yondu, because she most likely heard about what happened during all the weird void stuff.

I also just kind of want CR with Kitty and Hunk? I dunno, they just seem like they would get along, and it could be pretty cute

About them: Millennia-old ancient being, generally very god-like powers. Walking FFXIV Spoiler (Currently Shadowbringers expac Spoilers but will slowly be creeping into Endwalker territory in the coming OOC months).

Plans: The last event of the month of Poi saw many individuals returned briefly to their worlds. During these events Elidibus died in a way that was very taxing and beyond the train's revival mechanic to fully restore. While he will be recovering from the normal exhaustion by the first platform of Quicksand (similar to the recovery of people who did anchoring duty), the tax on reserves/power will take much longer to recover from and thus he is going to be considerably weakened barring any extenuating circumstances.

Because of this he's going to be cautious. But people who would normally be able to pick up on his level of power/soul/spirit/energy are going to be able to tell. The difference is currently VERY dramatic. He is very vulnerable. He knows it. Others will know it. While he won't be completely bereft of power and ability, it won't be the overpowering strength he had before.

CR wanted: Positive and negative CR are fine! New and old are fine! Elidibus has gone through two huge upheavals and tends to compartmentalize extremely well. But setting aside his personal feelings, there's plenty of reason to wonder how dangerous his current state is. Some people might even have cause to wonder what he'd do to recover (looking at WoL and Zenos posse).

Or whether, if one has reason to, it is the time to take advantage of his weakened state. Maybe it's just a time to approach when he's not so frightening a presence.

Things to avoid: While I'm down for the dramatic, please talk to me about plans! I'm big on OOC communication. I'm not big on drama for drama's sake to the extreme or having him by the target of negative CR only because he's a villain of his series. There are definitely people who have a good reason to not like Elidibus though. So reach out if you wanna!

Kia | Ryo & Agent Washington (CRAU)

About them: OC, Orange team, sleeper L2:B. Teenage mage and healer who's had a rough life and has only recently gained some self-esteem and started building that backbone. (His world took a perfectly good healer and gave him a tragic backstory and now he has anxiety.) Compassionate and caring with a buried temper. Good at helping; bad at asking for what he needs in turn. Sassy as hell once he starts getting comfortable around you. Please hug him.
Plans: Being home was absolutely fantastic for Ryo, even though he knew it wasn't going to last. He's still pretty broken up about having to leave again, though he's trying not to think about it and has been working in order to distract himself. He may need a little help getting stable again, and he's definitely going to be a little more distracted/listless/easily upset, if anyone wants to notice and/or help.
CR wanted: He could definitely use more friends his own age! Aside from that, just about anything! Be his friend or adoptive sibling, let him help you or heal you, teach him and be taught in turn, the works. He's figured out his Diagad powers, but he's still up for helping others with theirs, especially new healers. A warning, though: if CR starts out negative, it might not recover; he holds a grudge (Kabuto).
Things to avoid: ICly, nothing; OOCly, just don't go linking me pictures of spiders.
Notes: Please fill out his permissions post!

Character: Agent Washington (Wash)
About them: Space marine from Red vs Blue with CRAU from Balance and Imaginary Island; Purple team Sleeper U1:D. Special ops agent who got betrayed by his program before it collapsed, had his psyche destroyed by a traumatized AI, rebuilt himself with revenge on the mind, and then completely failed at that revenge and the subsequent revenge on the group of lovable idiots who made his initial revenge plot fail. Got adopted by said group of idiots and is now one of their team leaders, and also a lot more chill about the whole thing. Most recently got pulled into Faerun, learned some magic, helped defeat a dimension-eating entity, and was about to go home when he ended up on platform. He's very happy. (He's not very happy.)
Plans: I haven't been able to get him settled the way I'd like - between February eating me alive and him not really having a place in the event, he's slightly at ends. He definitely wants to start finding out more about the train, and would especially want to talk to people who've had higher levels of interaction with it or who could talk AI theory as it applies to the train with him. He's also probably going to hit the ground running for the mission, and will be gathering as much info as he can on Standard Operating Procedures for missions beforehand.
CR wanted: Anything! People to drink with; people to spar with, people who don't mind a good 2 AM talk; and he has a tendency to adopt kids and give them combat training if need be. Basically anything. :D (Current emphasis on anyone who'd be willing to talk How Does This Train Work or AI theory with him.)
Things to avoid: Wash is pretty resilient, but I don't particularly want to break him again; if a thread starts going in that direction, I may ask for a rewrite or a change.

About them: A former exorcist who has been to way to many worlds to count at this point having been to two games (Both of which had more than one setting so he's very much use to the travelling to worlds life). Adaptable but a little bit prone to rather taking care of others than taking care of himself. He is trying to do better in that area though, but this month will be a lot harder.
Plans:
Allen came out of the event in a very much bad place. Probably the worst out of all the characters I play. Reason being quite complicated and connected to his situation that he was in. Mostly involving possession and being told that once one fully takes over you can go bye bye.

Aka Allen thinks that is exactly what has happened and why he couldn't get back to the world he was on. So... bad place and because of it Allen has started to try and wonder just what his purpose will be now. In his mind he can no longer go home because he cannot or may not be able to take back control. So he might be going to be in a more negative state because of it. Questioning things and such.

What makes this worse is Allen's abilities he got from that other world which is Bad Luck. When he is in a mood or not in control of them can affect either himself, objects around him without meaning to or others themselves. Because of the negative mood this is more likely to affect more than himself, so if you want your character to have a case of bad luck even if minor then let me know. It can go as bad as you want it to.
CR wanted: More friends to help him figure out his next steps or try and give him a bit more hope that maybe the thoughts he has might not be the case, but that will take a lot.

Character: Cipher Nine (Aden Nahain)
About them: Former member of the Chiss Ascendancy's secret police except maybe not for realsies former and more like current. It is a mystery. Current head of Intelligence operations for the Sith Empire. Despite having about as much Force sensitivity as a brick, he's more or less the Chosen One for his era of galactic history, much to his chagrin. People whose asses he's kicked range from Dark Councilors, to favored child of the Force and Man Who Keeps Dying and Coming Back to Piss Aden Off Personally aka Revan, to the literal eldritch horror and parasite known as the former Sith Emperor who even tried to take over Aden's meatpuppet there for a hot second. Didn't work out too well for him and the experience was miserable for both of them.

TL;DR - The galaxy is a wonky supermarket trolley going off of a cliff, and Aden is the balloon tied to the handle that definitely should not be capable of slowing the galaxy's fall down and yet somehow is anyway. Angrily screaming the entire descent too. Leaving things to Aden might be like letting a feral racoon loose in the vents and expecting something positive to come out of it, and yeah. Somehow that's working out fine for everyone involved. Somehow.
Plans: For him to settle a bit more probably. Expect him to be doing a lot of cooking too. He'll be cranky about it, especially considering... Everything... But. Cooking! Feeding himself and other people! His favorite thing to do! And also cleaning. He'll also be looking to learn more about the people around him, be that by initiating contact or by just lurking.
CR wanted: Anything and everything! Especially people who can keep up with his snarky attitude, but seriously, just. /grabby hands at more CR

Warning that his snark might be a bit sharper by now since someone doesn't have access to his fancy nearly unlimited painkillers from home (and he suffers from chronic pain due to a tiny brainwashing incident in his youth), but he'll still be careful to not step on any toes he shouldn't at least. He'll also still be modifying his behavior to be more gentle with those he sees as children, so there's that for anyone with younger characters who might worry about Aden's whole... issue with being a rather nasty person a lot of the time.
Things to avoid: Anything romantic would be an IC no-no, since he's married at home.
Notes: Should anyone be uncomfortable with mentions of drug use, please lmk so I can avoid having it come up should we thread o/

Same goes for the darker themes that come with being aligned with the Sith Empire (though he likely won't openly discuss it).

About them: A friendly sports jock who's been on the train for nearly a year who tries to make time for others and to help them to do more with their time on the train! Never had hobbies because your life was miserable? Here's a VR game! Sports! Fun!!

Plans:

- A project he and Wei Wuxian (Untamed's) have been working on for a Voidtrecker Guide is going to be brought up, and asking for volunteers/help to make it cover everything essential will be going up at the start of the month! Led more by Wei Wuxian because Tidus is more the 'this is stuff I remember' type guy than the 'I'm good at writing' guy.

- Otherwise, a part of Tidus's Diagad powers has started to come forward, which is teleportation, and I'd love to do some goof ups. It works by a character that knows Tidus thinking about him - or, how it should work is by them wanting him around, and Tidus can do the same by thinking about them and asking for permission to appear where they are. It's basically an invitation/summoning type deal.

Since it's fairly new though, I'd love for Tidus to be getting pinged over the place! Did you just have a stray thought about Tidus? here he is! Did Tidus just think x about your character and now you thought you can hear him and accidentally 'answer' him? Here he is with a spatula, teleported from the kitchen!

It's dumb a goofy and if you want something dumb and goofy and know Tidus, let's have fun.

- Other things is that Tidus would like to invite some of the younger kids to do P.E classes together? Ken Amada he's looking at you! Since he wanted to train with them, Tidus is thinking it might be fun to teach the younger lot some flexibility, how to jump, and even using a grav-con if they want to do some fancy jumping. Kids, what do you think?

- Also Tidus will likely throw out a reminder for Purple Team, with Roland's departure, that if people want to get involved with organising and keeping a track of Purple Team during missions, anyone is welcome who has the interest!

- I'll likely make a log ig ig. Tidus will also be cooking for some pals if you want to have a small get-together? Tidus likes pan-fry cooking.

QUESTION/IDEA:

So during the medical meeting, it came up about having a meeting once in a while for medical people to meet up. But Tidus had the idea that a general 'hey what's up' info get-together about: missions, medical staff, teams, and also clubs/activities on the train (fight teachers, etc).

We don't want to repeat a log too often bc it can become dull after too many times, but what would people think of this? If we had it either, once every other month, or every four months? People can make their own toplevels, from Team Reps/Leads, Fight Services, First Aid training, and also for anyone looking to help people learn how to cook, knit, etc!

She is gentle and motherly and a huge nerd who wants to learn as much as she can about everyone and everything she comes across. Her past is littered with death and disaster but she heaves her own burdens without complaint to others while taking on their problems too. Could definitely kick ass but chooses not to.
Plans:
★ During the rescue mission Lioriley compiled her own personal list of the passengers, taking names from the roster, asking around herself, and recruiting people to give her basic information on people she didn't know or couldn't pin the location of. She primarily used it for the rescuing so she knew who went home, who tethered, etc. But she still has it and while i probably won't have her use it overmuch, i just wanted to make people aware that she might recognize people from pictures or catch names even when not introduced prior. Shes also going to update it on platforms and will continue to keep notes on people she talks to. If you want to avoid this lmk but tbh im an idiot and might forget myself half the time so LOL.

About them: INFO! Tl;dr version - Jiang Cheng is from the CQL version of the Untamed, meaning he is from the same world as a bunch of other idiots here on the train. He's a grumpy, irritable but genuinely caring man who wants the best for his people/family. He is slow to make good friends (due to how standoffish and angry!! he can seem at all times) but is painfully loyal once made. People may know him as 'Wei Wuxian's brother' or 'the man glaring in the gym'. He also acquired EMPATHY POWERS which has permissions you can fill out! He also owns a giant rabbit called Lili who lives on the train.

Plans: Jiang Cheng is probably going to continue with his haunting of the quiet carriage and reading a lot of books, generally speaking. He will be taking part in whatever mission/event that comes up, so he'll be fighting in that. Otherwise, he'll be around not doing anything super specific, so if you'd like to do something (e.g. random empathy pickups, seeing his bun, etc!) we can plot it out.
CR wanted: Give this man more friends, please, he only has his brother, the guy who he has a crush on and his myriad of children. Please support this eternally single nuisance. Otherwise it would be very easy to develop negative CR with him since he is such a grump!
Things to avoid: Nothing for me, but he'll take it personally if you bother him about Wei Wuxian or talk about families.

Plans: He's still reeling from his trip back home, but he's grateful he got to explain to the squad what was going on. Things are clearly getting worse on this mission and he has to help! So he's trying to work harder at first aid training.
CR wanted: People to goof with, people to keep him in line, kids to look after...anything, really. And if your character was a big pop culture phenomenon in the mid 2010s and you're cool with fourthwalling, please let me know. He'd love to stan.
Things to avoid: Nothing comes to mind, really. Probably still no romance, he loves Amy still.

A genius with an eidetic memory, he focused his young life on STEM fields, including several internships around the world - his education was clearly following some kind of IEP. After civilization fell, he broke free of petrification some 3700 years later and since then has taken on the challenge of speedrunning from the stone age to the modern age and beyond as fast as he can. He's an engineer, a chemist, a doctor, the chief of the village and essentially, with the population of about 200 worldwide, he's king of the world. A position he actively has no interest in. Honestly - he just wants to be a scientist and an astronaut - and to save 7 billion people from their petrified fate.

On board the train he's coming into his eleventh month on board. He can often be found in the medical car, generally being available for anyone who needs medical assistance. He's one of the precious few with mundane medical training, to the level of a general pratctioner and surgeon. (After all, at home he has 150 patients). On this long voyage he has also learned magic through his persistance, at least a branch of it and can also be called upon for magical healing, as that was his primary focus. He's a Junior Team Lead for the Orange Team, and enjoys cooking even when it's not their turn to do so. He's most often in the company of Gen, his spouse, and his espurr Orion.

He can also be found building models and now that there are documentaries, one might actually catch him in the cinema!

Plans: Senku had a real rough time going home, to be honest. It was like the worst-case scenario as far as he was concerned and he now needs to come up with a plan of some kind to remedy that. Outside of his more thoughtful, distant mood, he doesn't have any specific plans at the moment.

CR wanted: Senku can always use more friends, he considers everyone to be friendly anyway. He used to know everyone, and if he doesn't know your character yet, you can expect me to be finding you first.

Things to avoid: ICly, Senku is incredibly uncomfortable with being touched, especially grabbed without his consent. Touch he consents to tends to be in the area of high fives and fist bumps. You can attempt more, but be prepared for a negative reaction.

About them: Wandering cleric with a saintly reputation whose actual personality is closer to mad scientist than anything else. Has done some Really Bad Shit especially in his recent past, which has to do with him being the vessel for an evil god back on his home world. Blind with loads of internal ableism about it. He's pretty chill in casual interactions though! He's on Team Red and his cabin is Lower 2: E.
Plans: Besides torturing his great-grandson, Zelgadis, just by being here? Rezo's just arrived and going to be settling in and adjusting to not being dead and being on a weird moving magic tube where he has to have roommates. (He's used to hanging out by himself doing wizard shit in massive laboratories, manors, or abandoned towers! And now he has ROOMMATES??) So mostly he'll just be learning how things work around here!

He's going to also be in a weird headspace from having Shabranigdu (evil god mentioned earlier) out of him for the first time in his entire 100+ years life, but he'll still have the seal for Shabranigdu on him so he won't realize that's why he feels Different. And thus he'll also be trying to find people who have god killing levels of power in case Shabranigdu gets out again.

About them: From Hades, Red Team point of contract (neither he or Otoha consider themselves leaders), Death Incarnate who is actually a nice guy (but also tsundere and emotionally confused) but is still learning how to be his own person instead of just his job as God of Gentle Death and more.

He's been here since the start of Jelly and is often accompanied by a moving plush mouse (Mort) who squeaks and wants to FITE protect Thanatos. Than can often be found in the quiet car, giving himself a break from feeling ill and overwhelmed by all the sensations he feels on the surface (vs the Underworld). He'll also be found in the greenhouse car, enjoying the green life there.

Plans: So... uh, he has a boyfriend now! (What does he do now??) And there is hope that after all this, Thanatos might be able to have a life instead of just being Death. Despite being sad that he couldn't stay at home longer, it's still a net plus overall. Thanatos is also trying to learn how to people because holy hell he learned that he did not want to sacrifice everything he's grown to cherish.

He's also one of the healers (heavily itemed based but still healer). Thanatos trusts the Ministry and the train because so far they are trying to help his world and its lack of death due to his presence on the train.

CR wanted: Open to a lot of CR ideas. I am going to try to keep things on the lighter side this month because of RL things.

Things to avoid: Do not try to restrain him, especially by grabbing his wrists or shoving him into a small space. Thanks, Sisyphus. You took a perfectly good death godling, gave him a month shackled in a box, and now he has trauma and a lot of insecurities. And the train made it worse.

Other: Than also has a permissions post for characters who have connections to death (though more for potential thread/CR ideas as Than has given up trying to understand this train) and also for Hades game spoilers if that's something you're worried about.

Plans: Not much for the coming month other than Vegeta going King Kong at the next stop probably. Otherwise, she'll just be mostly in the lab drafting I think, as per usual! (Also I'm going to Mexico mid-month so I'm probably going to refrain from making a lot of plans!)

About them: Purple team, sleeper Upper 4D. She's rebel scum taken from about a year before the original trilogy kicks off. She's a talented pilot (not super relevant on a train but hey after Diagad she can fly without a vehicle), a pretty good tactician (actually relevant!) and fiercely protective of anyone she has decided is one of her people. She's Space Mom in a sea of dads on this train. :p

Plans: This event... was not kind to her. She's gotten confirmation that removing her from that moment was bad for Lothal. She, Yondu and Nozomi managed to improve some things but she is not in a good place after having to leave her family behind in an active warzone.

CR wanted: Right now she really needs some Grownup Friends to talk about this mess to. But it's still in her nature to mom, so she's always down for characters who need a parenting style of "If I bring the impulsive kid WITH me to do the dangerous thing I at least can see them. If I tell them not to do the thing they will do the thing where I can't help them if they get in trouble."

About them: Catboy Warrior of Light from a world where he's the only person to currently hold that title and he kind of hates it sometimes. A very curious gremlin who has trouble sitting still or playing some sort of prank on his friends, but is generally a nice person. If you need help with something, he'll probably try to help, even if he knows nothing about what you might be doing.

Plans: K'zeka's visit home didn't go well, so he's going to be recovering from that. And by 'recovering' I mean 'doing whatever he can to distract himself from issues he can't do anything to fix'.

CR wanted: Everything, please give. He likes making friends. But also anyone who crafts things for a living or hobby or battle buddies are a plus.

Things to avoid: Death and probably any serious relationships right now

Plans: Nell's still reeling over the revelations about her dead husband and the way he lied to keep her from her family. She's also going to be rather freaked out to have two older men living in her cabin now. In her experience with her church they're pretty dangerous. Sorry, Emet-Selch and Rezo. (She has the top bunk on the right side of the cabin as you walk in, just fyi.) No real plans, just getting along with things and working in the garden. Oh and working on her animal communication skills with her new kitten, Selene, and any other animals she may run into.
CR wanted: Any and all. Also, Nell may be bothered by the men in her cabin, but I'm fine with any cr around that - positive or negative.
Things to avoid: Don't touch/grab her by surprise or she may well react badly.

About them: Former brainwashed amnesiac assassin for HYDRA, who died after the split-second decision not to actually kill Steve Rogers and then spent a year and a half in a dead world where they slowly learned how to Person again. Soul/life force/whatever is in a lantern that they carry around all the time, which I sometimes forget to mention in narration, but it is Always There. They're on Purple team, but always swap for somebody on the kitchen chores so they can cook instead (no need this month yay!), and often do missions with Red team.

Plans: Soldat is So Happy you all are back and also So Sorry you didn't get to go home. They have mixed feelings about it, okay. But they're cooking up a storm of comfort food for everybody, and prepping for the next mission. They continue to be fine with not being a proper person, which probably ought to get challenged at some point, and are staying the hell out of train politics for now.

CR wanted: Soldat is good for teaching people self-defense, teaching people cooking, teaching people origami, teaching people dancing, teaching people languages... they just like teaching things, okay, and they're pretty good at it. They need somebody to poke a little at their personhood issues (or I not I suppose, they're pretty comfortable with it, after all) and could always stand a friend.

Things to avoid: If you tell Soldat you have the power to control minds or take away memories and that you're willing and ready to use it, and there hasn't been a solid amount of CR built up first, Soldat will drop you. No questions asked.
