Diagad Power: He started with death powers, but they've since become Last Rites powers. He'll be able to help dying souls go to their correct afterlife or find peace, and later on - after a lot of practice - he'll be able to deal with ghosts or undead using that power.
Plans: He currently has no idea he has this power - so far, all he has is "Thanatos feels a little different to my Sense; wonder why that is." He could use someone who is attuned to death in some way to point out that he now has that attunement himself and to maybe walk him through the basics (or maybe just give him a primer, because the part of the world he lives in doesn't really have an undead problem and this is all Real Weird to him).
Can They Teach: Yes! BABY HEALERS, COME TO HIM, he'll teach you the basics and it'll be great. People with life powers also welcome, because Similar Hat.
Anything Else: He is Doing His Best, Per Usual

Canon: Overwatch
Diagad Power: Power modulation! He can increase or decrease/shut off others' powers if he focuses on them.
Plans: Once word gets out that they might still have their Diagad powers, he's definitely going to start testing it out. He'd mostly just need people to test with.
Can They Teach: Yes, but probably only if someone has gravity/levitation powers. He's not much of a superpowers guy.
Anything Else: He will absolutely shut off your powers if you're misbehaving :|

Diagad Power: He breathes lightning like his favorite lady dragon. That's it. That's the power.
Plans: It will unlock when he has an incident with Danny Fenton. Poor ghost hero can't catch a break. Also, little static crackles also seem to appear when his emotions flare...and losing Atem, again, will probably give it another appearance.
Can They Teach: Nope! He was a completely ordinary human before all this nonsense, and wishes he still was one. Unless anyone's new power has something to do with video games, then he'd be your guy.
Anything Else: On Diagad he had a pair of gloves that could store electrical charges for thunder-punch use, he'll be looking to build those again. If anyone needs something similar for their powers, he can do more.

Plans: They've already got the start of it back, controlling the metal of their arm. It'll just grow slowly with practice, no real help needed.
Can They Teach: Soldat's AU persona did some training of new powers! So they'll be happy and available to help in some cases :)

Diagad Power: Potato's ability was a stretchy, extendy sort of deal, rather akin to heroes like Mr. Fantastic or Incredibles ~Elastigirl~.
Plans: Honestly it's...gonna take a bit. But fortunately, mastering it will be like breathing? Why? Because we just made the Potato even MORE harm-proof. Potato can now get through most spaces she desires herself to do so at. She can keep stretching even if someone starts trying to pry her off a door. There's a lot here! She'll probably go 'wow, neat' and just assume this is something she never did before as opposed to something she got from Elsewhere. Amazing!
Can They Teach: N O P E
Anything Else: Potato went first bc, she's simple,

Character Name: Kiyoiri Matsuda
Canon: Fate/ + Detective Conan-Magic Kaito (OC)
Diagad Power: 'Spirit Summoning' - While never expanded on much, it's assumed to mean the willful invoking of a spirit at any given location, typically through the use of some form of focus or known fact. Unlike summoning Heroic Spirits, this is very much summoning a true ghost- a being who cannot, outside the power limits of that region's own spirits, interact with the world around them save through those with the ability to do so.

Notably, though Kiyoiri can SUMMON spirits, she herself lacks the ability to properly communicate with them (Though she can innately understand if they're present or not)

Plans: Due to the precise nature of the summoning, it may take time to manifest; Kiyoiri will outright require herself to be at a location with not only some sort of link to the dead (a site of murder, a gravesite, a favored place, etc) but ALSO for that location to even HAVE potential for ghosts. If a location's afterlife is so lock and key that no ghosts can exist, she won't be able to summon...so the plans are, as a result, extremely up in the air.
Can They Teach: While willing to teach, all she can provide is cold logic and reasoning...though with a magical bent, admittedly.
Anything Else: Still head in hands because man I'd have put more effort into these if I'd a known they were permanent but here we are lads,


Character Name: Emporio Alniño
Canon: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - Stone Ocean
Diagad Power: Energy stockpiling and release (Though I think I used another term for it...). Essentially, Emporio gradually gathers power- kinetic or otherwise- within himself, which he can ultimately release however he likes. An example of how it could quickly be charged was by hurriedly rubbing sockfeet back and forth across a carpet to gather energy in the way one would for a static shock.
Plans: Because of the passive build to Emporio's power, and the fairly violent potential in the release as a result, this one will be a quiet affair until the 'big moment'. At which point uh, it'll be pretty clear to him what happened, but until then he's just going to gradually start to feel pretty fidgety. (He has a pretty solid handle on how it works though, so once he knows its there, he'll just be trying to use meditation and the like to sort himself out, while otherwise dampening anything extreme with Weather)
Can They Teach: He can! Not so much with his Diagad one, but as Emporio makes use of Weather Report more often than not, he can feasibly help others to train with weather related abilities.
Anything Else: Never so glad to go with something low-key and brainless tbh; THE BOY IS TOO STRONG!!!


Character Name: Katsuya Jonouchi
Canon: Yu-Gi-Oh! DM (Fanfic + CRAU)
Diagad Power: He can turn into Red Eyes Black Dragon! This can be a partial thing as well, but going full dragon is ultimately easier in the end.
Plans: And here's where we get to the neat stuff. Katsuya of course, having a firebreathing shapeshifting ability, will be manifesting all kinds of weird fun stuff for the early period. Maybe his eyes are red! Maybe he sneezes fire! Maybe a few scales end up on his arm, etc etc. Ultimately things will start to get more extreme as the power grows, but for the most part he's just flailing around with basics.
Can They Teach: He can try, but he's less helpful on the power end and more helpful on the 'supportive friend who will suggest whatever comes to mind' end. Oop!
Anything Else: ITS GREAT BECAUSE I HAD A PLOTLINE PLANNED WHERE HE WOULD BE A DRAGON,

Can They Teach: Unless it's pain immunity, nope.
Anything Else: He's gonna be scared to touch anyone once he realizes people kept powers. 8D;

Plans: ... Well he has to have a digimon first... so no plans as of now.
Can They Teach: He can help with electricity or healing powers that are more 'point at target' than anything else.

Plans: It's only on materials like wood or stone so he'll need to get a chunk of one of those materials. He'll be experimenting when he realizes people kept powers.
Can They Teach: While there's not much he can do directly he can help with magical control.
Anything Else: Boop.

Diagad Power: Calming: She can calm others down from things like anger or fear, but Masumi has to be calm herself to use it.
Plans: She’s probably going to discover she still has the power when she accidentally uses it to calm someone, if only for a second due to how weak it is right now. Once she figures it out though, she’ll need to practice both at using the ability at will/for longer, along with staying calm under pressure.
Can They Teach: No, she was a normal human before Diagad happened.
Anything Else: Not really? She’ll be deeply thrown off by this development since she didn’t have powers before/wasn’t expecting anything from Diagad to actually stick.

Plans: He'll probably figure this out when he gets random, partial dog features (ears, tail, pointier fangles than usual, etc.) and going beyond that could just fully transform at some point? Thing is things can pop up randomly but trying to reverse them or do it consciously is where he will have his Struggle.
Can They Teach: Haha, no. Even as a Servant (and therefore being made of magic basically) he actually knows nothing about it and should not have responsibilities like this in general lmao
Anything Else: BORK.

Diagad Power: Yondu had plant manipulation, not just the ability to make them grow but to change them. Like changing the color of flowers or giving thorns to plants that didn't have thorns before or to do your very stereotypial vine thing.
Plans: Just going to have him practice with it and try to help in the greenhouse to keep up the food stores. Generally first attempts would go badly, like making oranges that look like pomegranates on the inside, apples that taste like bananas, or grapes with coconut meat in them.
Can They Teach: Most of what he teaches relates to theft/stealth/escapes lately so if your character can apply their abilities to that potentially then maybe he can be of help.
Anything Else: I will also take recommendations for messed up food ideas.

ANYWAYS. Persephone can and would try to help, though she's never had to teach this ability. There would be an annoying amount of generic 'feel what you want to create' and an unhelpful delight in his strange creations.

Diagad Power: Life (healing, assisting growth, things of that nature). It is manifesting in slowly bringing Mort to life (assisting his growth) rather than giving him the same thing in Diagad, which could cause Issues.
Plans: His awareness of his power is really just "what is tickling me in my hood" and not connecting it to Mort nose wiggles. Eventually he will stare at Mort and realize that Mort is starting to move.
Can They Teach: He could help with people who could float or teleport
Anything Else: Thanatos being Death Incarnate is not going to be as helpful for those who have death related powers. He will wish people luck because blood and darkness welcome to his life. He is so sorry. What do? idk suffer? And stop trying to figure out how messed up some people's relationships with death is?

Diagad Power: Minor light powers.
Plans: It's going to take him a while to realize this is coming from him and he's not borrowing from Asch, but once he's aware he's got it he should be fine - he's been borrowing Mythra's light for years.

Can They Teach: He absolutely cannot teach BUT 1) if someone wants to ask him about ice powers by all means. good converastion starter even if it won't end in lessons
2) he is EXTREMELY willing to be damage control + company while other people fuck around and find out with their new powers. You'd be surprised at how good infinite amounts of ice is for containing things. Learning and experimentation is fun! Just don't expect any advice from him.

Anything Else: he might actually have good advice he just doesn't Want to teach. and also when you have been doing something that's just inherent to your species for 100 years, "teaching" it to other people is... not really a thing. However the differences between your powers and his might be fun to discuss

Diagad Power: Good Luck. A somewhat passive power that might eventually balance his luck out to normal, he can use it actively in tiny ways, like wishing to find his favourite thing in the cupboard.
Plans: Senku is not aware of this power still remaining, and if he was he'd put forth the effort to try and wish for something every day to make it stronger.
Can They Teach: He can't teach anything in the realm of other powers but as for the math magic he's been working on, he could teach that.
Anything Else: Maybe if he masters this, the worst won't always happen to him.

Character Name: Demyx
Canon: Kingdom Hearts
Diagad Power: Invisibility.
Plans: He might find out about his power soon. Practice, probably.
Can They Teach: Demyx is excellent at water control, surprising no one.
Anything Else: He can also provide some montage music.

Diagad Power: Ice powers.
Plans: He's probably going to use it by accident at some point. He had little control on Diagad, and that's likely to continue. He could use help controlling it. He doesn't know much about magic though.

Anything Else: Nah.

Diagad Power: Healing powers
Plans: She's more likely to try if she knows other people got their powers. Fortunately she's not nearly as squeamish.
Can They Teach: She's good with electricity based powers.
Anything Else: She has a few others including a magical girl transformation. Everyone needs one of those.

Canon: Final Fantasy XIV Online

Diagad Power: Darkness Manipulation; Eventually, transportation between one shadow to another (solo only), manipulation of darkness (shape of shadows, tendrils that can bind or perform simple tasks), creating clouds of darkness, sensing others in shadows.

Plans: Elidibus already suspects something is different after Diagad. Once he is aware and determines it is not a threat, he will see it as a tool that must be controlled and honed like anything else. He will probably not need aid in learning, but the rate of mastering it will be on par with the most diligent of passengers. Despite being similar to some of his abilities, it's completely foreign.

Can They Teach: Elidibus would see the merit in aiding others to learn their skills. Whether he's actually teaching via a relatable experience or helping with strategies on how the power can be used, he'd be a good resource.

Well, he would also be interested to see what others have and how it affects them, but don't worry about that, it's fiiine if he knows. Nothing bad will happen. Surely.

Anything Else: Elidibus is pretty old (many many millennia) and has various talents and knowledge. He definitely has an excellent mentor vibe and hides ulterior motives well. Pretty open to hashing out ideas OOCly too so! Feel free to ask!

Canon: The Smoke
Diagad Power: He's fireproof, pretty self explanatory, and can create energy barriers. They can be used to protect people and objects up to a certain amount of damage. I'd also like him to use them to fight with at some point, like putting the barriers over his hands like a glove so they can't be hurt while he doles out some punches.
Plans: He wouldn't realize he's fireproof yet, though to be fair at this point his fireproofness is not that good, it'd be like 10% which won't protect him from much at all fire wise haha. The energy barrier he's been trying to practice, but so far they're not powerful enough to be useful. A work in progress for sure. He just needs to keep practicing creating barriers and focusing on keeping them up longer.
Can They Teach: He's not magically inclined alas. Just a boring Earth boy, who's only gotten powers from a mission.
Anything Else: He's a wee bit preoccupied with some relationship drama so that's probably set him back a little, but shhh it's very important relationship drama. He'll catch up eventually.

Diagad Power: Life Force Manipulation, this includes helping plants grow and be healthy, healing, tethering life forces together.
Plans: Essek has already gotten an idea he has it, he has been gardening a little and also on vacation he notices plants responding to his touch more, things sprouting faster. He has then tried like pricking himself on thorns and tried healing it, to mild success. I think he needs help with learning to better hone and focus it, the main two applications are outside his wheelhouse completely.
Mechanically, I am taking it down the road of a lot of healing magic and plant magic that Druids/Clerics get in his world, so like spare the dying/druid craft to plant growth & cure wounds lvl 1 up to Heal level curing eventually. Maybe more.
Can They Teach: Essek is incredibly skilled in magic and magical control, but he specializes in gravity and time magic, so those would be his best offered skills to help someone learn.
Anything Else: He's eager to learn.

Diagad Power: She can create temporary clones that can take a hit for her (before vanishing) or be used for mischief.
Plans: It will probably manifest as more ghostly figues- trying to do three things at once and ghostly hands help out or something. She probably needs general guidance- powers are new to her!
Can They Teach: She doesn't have powers normally but she will happily guide people (her advice may be less than useful)

Character Name: Romeo (crau)
Canon: Romeo's Blue Skies
Diagad Power: A sort of healing power- where he can transfer wounds onto himself healing the original person.
Plans: It will probably manifest accidentally at first. Once he realises he has it Romeo will probably push hard to get better at it because that is the sort of person he is! He... Mostly is going to need to be taught restraint because he will go too far at some point (and if at some point someone wants to have him almost-die to save them lmk). Some basic first aid skills and more conventional healing training would be good as well so he can patch himself up!
Can They Teach: Yes! He is able to use borderlines (basic energy shields) and do a couple of shinki spells so he will help anyone who needs it!

Character Name: Taiki
Canon: 12 Kingdoms
Diagad Power: Ability to purify water/other liquids
Plans: It's a little niche so it might take him a while to even notice he has it.
Can They Teach: Yes! He can help teach- he already contended with learning he was a mythical creature so he can help those with previously no magic get used to things. Also flying practice?

Diagad Power: Illusion, but specifically masking objects so they appear invisible.
Plans: Selene would honestly be terrified of any "magic" she acquires because of her history of having helped accidentally summon demons, lmao. She has a magical item with her on the train (it can control air) but she keeps it in her rucksack and has been careful not to touch it. If she accidentally turns someone/something invisible it might be a good laugh... but not for her. (Read: YES I'M HERE FOR IT.)
Can They Teach: She won't know how to, but this teenage queen won't mind teaching other things.
Anything Else: Unlike her Diagad self she won't use her powers to steal/pocket things, but feel free to get her in trouble with that assumption anyway. HAHAHA >:3

Can They Teach: He would absolutely help if he could but everything he knows about doing 'magic' he's learned on the train in the last 2 months from Koumyou and Trunks.

Plans: Takato already had some tendencies towards this power, although it had never reached a level that he was consciously aware of it. Once it starts awakening hes going to be getting some massive headaches and have trouble filtering others emotions out. This is probably also going to bleed over into his empathic link with Guilmon.

So, uh, training please? He'll try anything.

Can They Teach: He would, although his powers are so specialized that they not be of much use. But if anyone needs to learn how to share your power with a partner or turn card games into something real, he'll be there.

Character Name: Conan Edogawa
Canon: Detective Conan
Diagad Power: Talking to Ghosts/Being a Medium
Plans: Because there are no ghosts on the train (apart from played characters), Conan will not be getting confirmation he kept this ability until the next planet mission.

And he Does Not Want this power. He will likely do his best to ignore it exists.

Can They Teach: Conan has no powers, doesn't want any, and so likely will not be of much use in teaching.

Character Name: Danny Fenton
Canon: Danny Phantom
Diagad Power: Intangibility
Plans: His Diagad power is one of his canon powers, so he's good.
Can They Teach: Danny would be more than willing to help teach. If theres one thing he has experience with, its dealing with a random new power suddenly appearing.

I'm also volunteering him to be hit by any malfunctioning powers in the area. Because his luck really is that bad.

Diagad Power: The ability to use her hair as a shield. Basically think putting her into a cocoon of her own hair.
Plans: We just need the mission and for Rapunzel to get into trouble or what seems like trouble due to not knowing or having any control it will just go off in trying to protect her. Will be hard to get her out.
Can They Teach: Considering Rapunzel's original abilities she wouldn't really know how to teach.

Character Name: Yugi Mutou
Canon: Yu-Gi-Oh!
Diagad Power: He is able to use his imagination and create something from it. If he thinks of it he can form it.
Plans: For how it will first form it will be a random accident which I might do a log about anyway with him just thinking about soemthing and it coming true only to vanish after causing chaos. All Yugi can really do to master it is simply to pratice and for the most part focus.
Can They Teach: He wouldn't again know how to teahc anyone anything considering he never had magical abilities before.
Anything Else: The dream of a Kuriboh army is neigh

Character Name: Allen Walker [CRAU]
Canon: D.Gray-Man
Diagad Power: Bad Luck. Basically he is cursed with bad luck that builds up over time unless he passes it onto someone else for a temporary time.
Plans: A series of unfortunate events.
Can They Teach: He can't teahc anyhting magic related. Fight related a different matter.
Anything Else: Allen's life just continues to suck and this was very much unintional to do for once... But now it's just amusing

Character Name: Kairi
Canon: Kingdom Hearts
Diagad Power: The ability to summon fruit or fruits based food items. Mostly basked goods.
Plans: Kairi is pretty good at training at this point so odds are she can just do that to master it. But ho she figures it out I don't actually know as of yet. But when she does she will have a new weapon. Fruit to throw at people.
Can They Teach: She can teach magic, but would feel like she isn't on the level to teach.
Anything Else: Prepare for the Fruit Bandit.

Diagad Power: Fire affinity - can manipulate fire to do his will and also lends him to being fire proof (the fire has to already exist, i.e. he can pull fire from that lit candle or fire, or spark that he can pull even the tiniest flame from to grow to what he needs. He can't just snap his bare fingers and will fire into existence)

Plans: He'll likely discover he still has this ability while on the mission coming up, but he's a well focused kind of person so he'll have a good mastery of it

Can They Teach: He's good at teaching weaponry back home and he worked at the training facilities in Diagad, so he'd be good for helping if anyone needs it.

Diagad Power: Empathy - he can feel other people's emotions and broadcast his own.
Plans: He definitely knows he has it from picking up some extreme emotions from some of his canonmates, but he needs to learn how to squash his own emotions and really work out how to deal with picking up on other people's as it gets stronger.
