March Information and CR meme!
We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.
IC Month
This month is the month of Kazoo. Days can be found here.
The thought of the month is "A journey well shared is a journey well enjoyed".
This means: Varied CR. The first thread with each character set in the month of Kazoo will earn you two bonus points during March and April.
Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during April AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC!
The ingredient of the month is tomato. Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom and characters are welcome to make other food with them.
This month’s chore assignments are:
Blue: Laundry
Purple: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
Red: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Orange: Meal Preparation
The Train
As the month moves onto the month of Kazoo, the train will stop to pick up new passengers. When everyone rejoins the train they will find a new sleeper carriage.
As a reminder, you can list things that characters have added to the train here. Just comment under the header of the carriage you are adding to!
Important Dates
This month’s event will be a world event on the 11th - 25th of March. (An info and plotting post will go up on the 7th)
The TDM will be posted on the 16th. Reserves will open on the 18th. Apps are between the 22nd and the 29th. AC will run from the 23rd to the 30th of March.

We now have a Permissions Directory page for character permissions posts that have specific requirements or warnings, or need opt-ins or information from other players.

V | Cyberpunk 2077
About them: Malleable protag from Cyberpunk 2077, this is a streetkid lifepath V who has so much trauma that I just wish I could pull him out of the game and give him the biggest hug. He's got a netrunner build and is generally more tech and computer focused, but he does have the iconic mantis blades for arms because like who the heck wouldn't want those? People loving and caring for him is nice but they always leave or die so clearly the answer to that is to not allow himself to feel to much and get too close. We witness trauma? That's fine, pack it to the back of the brain box and don't think about it ever again. It's fine. Ultimately he's a bit of an endurance run for CR unless he corners himself in a place he can't talk himself out of or he has a big fat crush on ya.
Plans: My hands keep making him flirt with Handsome Jack and I hate it. The adoption papers for Rich are continuing to be filled out over time, he and Soldat discussed working on creating holographic targets for the training area. My main focus is to get him the points back to get his clothes from home because he misses highly synthetic weird fibers. I have some other specific CR with specific people on the train but I'd enjoy some more longer term plans with him!
CR wanted: I want everything for him. I'd really like to force him to start to build what he personally considers meaningful relationships here. As long as the people he seems to latch onto don't leave I think we'll have a good shot of helping this guy deal with his anxiety and depression.
Things to avoid: I can just about guarentee he's seen more than either of us together can think of. Nothing shocks him anymore. Nothing for me.
Also he has a permissions post (for scanning/hacking cybernetic people + robits - if we've chatted about things in discord you're not required to fill it out, but you can if you want) and an opt-out post for dark themes. As a note I will never bring up dark topics without a CW and without checking your own permissions/reaching out to you first, but this just allows me to track big hard nos across games.

If Murderbot identifies V as an AI (your choice), it'll probably be more willing to talk to him over other humans; possibly even going 'help i'm in a social situation what do I do'
Prisoner| Dead Cells
About them: He is the pro?tag? of Dead Cells and is a walking corpse with a fireball for a head. Or, at least, that's what it looks like. His alignment is generally "chaotic asshole" but he's learning how to have friends and care for people outside of himself and seems to be doing a pretty good job of that, so that's good! Someday he'll learn how to actually try to sympathize with people rather than simply be polite in conversation, but let's take things one step at a time. As a note he can't talk because he doesn't have a mouth, but he does know some form of sign language (known as ???) and will write or type out responses to conversations so. throws confetti everywhere
Plans: No plans right now, he's very much a roll with it kinda character.
CR wanted: It'd be nice to expand his circle outside of the dead supersoldier and a bratty redhead. d:
Things to avoid: Nothing, this guy's seen a bunch of shit in his time and he's talked to Soldat about some pretty heavy shit at this point. He's not so good at sympathizing or empathizing, but he'll listen if he likes you. Nothing for me.
Re: Prisoner| Dead Cells
Also still going with them doing off-screen sign language learning, if that's cool. Like they see each other outside of on-screen threads, I'm sure, and they're always asking "what's that mean", and also trying to pick up from context when the redhead is translating.
Siobahn "Cherry" Chereshei | FFXIV
About them: She's a non-warrior of light from FFXIV. Spunky, a spitfire, talks entirely too much, happy, energetic... These are all things that describe her. The goal is for her to be a beacon of happy on a train filled with edgelords and for her to generally remind people to always look on the bright side of life. She's incredibly outgoing and extroverted and she looks forward to meeting everyone - new and old - and making all new friends on this big, grand adventure. She's a big hugger and loves pretty much everyone as long as they're not super mean. Yes, she can be a little overwhelming, but if she finds that someone is ultra introverted
Murderbotthen she will do her best to dial things back and accomodate them. As a fun fact: this is the one character I have in journal rp that doesn't cuss!Plans: She'll be just ariving
againso she will be hardcore getting acquainted with EVERYONE on the train. Even if we don't thread it please know that she did run up to your character and introduce herself and offer them a handshake. It happened. She wouldn't not let it happen. She's going to be KO'd on the platform by an overly excited birdsis and birdbird tackling her after she tackles miqo'auntie. I just saw that Soldat is giving out dancing lessons so SHE'S GONNA HELLA DO THAT. She will be at the uh dance thingy for sure. Basically Cherry is extroverted enough she just does everything and I have no clue how I'm going to keep up with things. :^)Also I'm sorry all parents of the train but I plan on her adopting Handsome Jack as her dad. It's going to go very poorly, but she doesn't know that.CR wanted: e v e r y t h i n g. Any negative CR will be converted into "how can I fix this relationship with this person" unelss the person is super mean, so keep that in mind. She is very highly adoptable and she gives off huge big/little sister energy.
Things to avoid: Nothing for me, she can't read and she feels embarrassed by it. I'm not saying to avoid it but it'll make her bristle up a bit to bring it up.

As a note - she's the kind of person who would introduce herself to EVERYONE on the train so if you're cool with it we can assume they've met at least once before because she's the kinda person to do that. If you'd rather not then that's okay too - can easily write it off as void interference in her time away.
