March Information and CR meme!

We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.

IC Month

This month is the month of Kazoo. Days can be found here.

The thought of the month is "A journey well shared is a journey well enjoyed".

This means: Varied CR. The first thread with each character set in the month of Kazoo will earn you two bonus points during March and April.

Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during April AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC!

The ingredient of the month is tomato. Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom and characters are welcome to make other food with them.

This month’s chore assignments are:
Blue: Laundry
Purple: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
Red: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Orange: Meal Preparation

The Train

As the month moves onto the month of Kazoo, the train will stop to pick up new passengers. When everyone rejoins the train they will find a new sleeper carriage.

As a reminder, you can list things that characters have added to the train here. Just comment under the header of the carriage you are adding to!

Important Dates

This month’s event will be a world event on the 11th - 25th of March. (An info and plotting post will go up on the 7th)

The TDM will be posted on the 16th. Reserves will open on the 18th. Apps are between the 22nd and the 29th. AC will run from the 23rd to the 30th of March.

Kumoko/unnamed spider - So I'm a Spider, So What? - orange

Character: Kumoko / Roster: Unnamed Spider
About them: Cabin 1-D, Orange team. My classroom was destroyed by dimensional magic and so I reincarnated as a monster in the most dangerous labyrinth in the world??? What's happening! What's happening! Saint-level magic user trapped in the body of a half-human all-spider the height of a grown man. Canon is So I'm a Spider, So What? or Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka?
Plans: Mostly she's going to be playing video games. She'll still be offering clothing and supply commissions, and maybe looking for people to help out or apprentices.
CR wanted: She needs to be drawn back out of her hikki dressing car space, or maybe just joined in there by people. Looking for people to study magic with her or that she can sew with.
Things to avoid: Please let me know if you have issues with spiders, either images or descriptions! I can adjust my playstyle to tone it down or avoid your characters with her. She has a permissions post.

In the spirit of incredibly strange CR in rp that I didn't know I needed but now do, V would be happy to sit around and sew with her. He's not one to really force conversation so it's probably not great threading material but, I dunno. He's not gonna gawk at her or ask about how she is part spider. Just chalk it all up to weird exotics and move on.

He can, however, talk video games, though he doesn't play them all that much himself. Maybe she should try to change that lmfao He's picked up reading physical real actual books and it makes him want to die on the inside a bit

Handwaving the sewing to some degree sounds wise! But definitely gonna force him to walk the walk when it comes to video games if he gets mouthy about it.

sadklfasdf He will admit that he's not one to really play video games, but he can definitely hold a conversation about them and whatever's big in Night City. That being said he is competitive and even if he's bad at it he would be the kind of guy to play quite a bit just to beat her if she starts getting all snarky about it :v

Ken's not a bad sewer - he's not Chidori, but he can make basic stitches. He'd be willing to learn more if she's willing to teach.

But have a Kairi and maybe Allen instead for sewing (Kairi) and video games (Both).
