OOC planning - Tribulation Performance evening
Performance evening event interest check + planning
How it works:
Seeing as this is very last minute, time may run out before they can pull it off. If there aren't enough participants by Tribulation day 4 (September 8th) Esteban will still be seen trying to pull things together, but chances are that the endgame will brush his attempts aside.
SO!
Write down in a comment the character's name, and the performance they would do.
A linked video is appreciated but not required. A short description (2-3 lines) can work if there is no video reference.
On Tribulation day 4 (September 8th), the IC post will go up, with participants and the program. Interacting with it is entirely optional.
Share this with friends who could participate! This is a performance day, but anything can be submitted! Songs, music, dancing, maybe setup a VR projection? You can handwave that Esteban has helped setup any props that might be necessary.
The more players participate, the better off the program will be! Come and share any artsy skill your character can do!
I'm aiming for at least 5 performances! Hope everyone comes and shares what they can!
Edit:
The format for the programming will be as follows:
Name
[Performance]
Short IC description if you'd like!

The illusions will be somewhat limited and stylized. The performance area will be magically darkened, save for a ball of fire that hovers just off to the side of where Rezo is seating; while he's narrating, he's not going to be the visual focus of the show.
The floating fireball crackles lightly and gives off the scent of woodsmoke, and shadows move across the light it spills on the floor and walls, providing silhouetted visuals based on what is happening in the story. Although the fireball gives off heat, it is far less hot than actual fire would be.
Iiii am not sure what story he will actually be telling because he'd want to discuss it with Esteban and/or other people first to see what they think would work for the evening, but if we can't work it out OOCly or ICly in time I think I'll just have him retelling Ash-maiden. (i.e. Cinderella but with more magic battles.)

Rezo
[Storytelling with Shadowplay]
The room is darkened, save for a single floating fireball that crackles lightly over Rezo's shoulder and gives off the scent of woodsmoke. Shadows move across the light it spills on the floor and walls, providing silhouetted visuals based on what is happening in the story. Although the fireball gives off heat, it is far less hot than actual fire would be.
Shadowplay seemed more accurate a description than illusions. As a note; Rezo doesn't need to magically darken the stage; the performance carriage is wired so that they have quite a bit of control over the lights. Esteban (or anyone, really) can turn off the lights for his presentation!
