OOC planning - Tribulation Performance evening

Performance evening event interest check + planning

How it works:
Seeing as this is very last minute, time may run out before they can pull it off. If there aren't enough participants by Tribulation day 4 (September 8th) Esteban will still be seen trying to pull things together, but chances are that the endgame will brush his attempts aside.

Write down in a comment the character's name, and the performance they would do.

A linked video is appreciated but not required. A short description (2-3 lines) can work if there is no video reference.

On Tribulation day 4 (September 8th), the IC post will go up, with participants and the program. Interacting with it is entirely optional.

Share this with friends who could participate! This is a performance day, but anything can be submitted! Songs, music, dancing, maybe setup a VR projection? You can handwave that Esteban has helped setup any props that might be necessary.

The more players participate, the better off the program will be! Come and share any artsy skill your character can do!

I'm aiming for at least 5 performances! Hope everyone comes and shares what they can!

Elidibus probably wouldn't do an individual performance but he would offer to play piano (there is one in the upstairs recital hall of the music carriage) for those wanting it for their own. Please feel free to request/handwave his presence as a reply to this post or eventually the IC discussion post if i can get to it.

Knowing he can do this would be a simple matter of handwaving that someone saw him playing the piano any number of times during his time on the train.

Lea can put on a show with fire, playing with it, forming it into different shapes, things like that. He'll have a pre-planned series of things to start with, but after that take requests for particular fire animals/forms/etc. people want to see.

Rezo wouldn't consider himself much of a performer, but Esteban might be able to rope him into doing something? Possibly telling a story, or showing off some magic tricks, or maybe a combo where he uses magical effects to add atmosphere.

(Rezo can sing but we've got at least three music-based performances by the sound of things, so some variety might be a good idea.)

Guess who's characters voice actor is a moderately professional singer to the point that it was slowly shoehorned into the characters personality?

Genjo Sanzo is surprisingly skilled with the mic and although it will take some convincing to get him going, when he gets into it he really gets into it.

In fact once he starts you may have a difficult time getting him to stop.

Haneul can sing, dance, play the piano, and create his own light show if needed.

Zelgadis will offer to play guitar, both on its own and as an accompaniment if others want it. (Sadly the clip of him playing isn't on YouTube, so I'll have to track it down.)

He can sing, but he's more likely to just focus on playing.

Whales do have a tradition of performing longform dramatic poetry/song in Young Wizards, though the only one presented in text, The Song of the Twelve is a bit too serious. (I've compared it to a passion play for Christians.) So S'reee will probably do something less serious, in the Speech so listeners can either focus on the sound or the meaning. (Wizards' Speech is basically universally understood; if someone isn't paying attention, it just sounds like their native language.)

If anyone has a flute or whistle he can borrow, Khary knows a fair amount of music from a number of different cultures. He can sing passably. He's also been trained in a number of dances that he can teach and demonstrate.

Spark can offer to sing in exchange for fish. Do not let him >.>

Lapis has a couple of things. She can make moving sculptures/figures with water, and she can dance -- the latter of which she did professionally in her previous world.

Aelienor is a ballad singer, and practiced with the lyre for accompaniment. She'll be singing the tale of a world that knew nothing but prosperity and contentment, brought low by a song of despair turning their very strengths against them, the people who came after and lived with struggle and suffering, and the return of the Song of Oblivion that was only silenced through the combined efforts of both eras, united in a tale of tragedy and triumph against all odds.

Allen and Esteban
[Pokemon training] - Part choreography and part comical number, Allen is juggling with popplio, and Esteban poi dancing with audino. Both of them are in a competition to supplant the other with mounting impressive feats with their little pokemon apprentice, until both skills come and compliments the other's in a mesmerizing act.
