Player Plot: Information Needed
Hi everyone!
Please can those involved in this player plot reply here with:
~ Exactly what your character is trying to find out or discover.
~ What their methods are.
~ Anything else that might help or hinder them.
Also for those now leading it- please let me know how you are planning this to go ahead, will you be making a post?
Once I have the details I can let everyone know what they will discover/find out!
Thank you all!

... Not at all helpful for this post, but hey, anyone with the being first jitters will no longer have to worry! I got you.

Seto Kaiba will be coordinating with those working with tech, while Elidibus will coordinate with those working from a more magical angle.
There will be laptops connected to VR projectors, and also the ability to connect VRs to the ICPs if people believe they can work on a more mental/intimate approach. It will be requested that the train offers them samples of data so that it can be studied and understood (mainly for the tech approach), so that further investigation towards searching for the mission memories can be taken.
Everything within the original player plots submitted is still valid, with Senku being present on the project until his departure.

Esteban will use a VR headset to, first, apologize for a rather disastrous first meeting, then gather data.
He can't approach much of the tech aspect unless guided (whoever wants to guide him is welcome to it).
Left to his own devices, Esteban will be trying to learn how to communicate with the train.
Character interests/other goals:
He wants to offer help to the train.
He wants to learn how it talks, or thinks. Whether it prefers empath communication, a language, or data as a mode of communication. Can Esteban learn that language?
He wants to know what is safe to share with the train, such as memories or emotions, particularly if the train is strengthened in its search for lost VoidTreckers if the current VoidTreckers know them as well.

~His method is all computer-based-- he will be offering his expertise in getting the computers and VR equipment all rigged up and talking to each other, as well as using said equipment to help visualize and explore the train's digital structuring.
~A lot of his experience with this kind of thing is amateur, since he was a mechanics guy and not a programming guy back home. He can't write code, but he is good at recognizing what he's looking at and at tweaking parameters. He might be hindered anywhere non-tech is involved, since that's so much what he's used to; he has learned to be more open to magic- and magitech-based solutions to problems on the train, though, so he'll be trying to keep that in mind.

Elidibus Involvement

What he has going for him is that he has the memories of one of his world's foremost AI scientists in his head - it's all very world-specific knowledge, but there is a lot of it and it is in depth, and he'll be doing his best to apply it to this situation in the hopes it'll provide some insight. The downside of that is, delving into those memories messes with his sense of self (to the point of losing his sense of self, if temporarily), and he tries to avoid doing it too often or too deeply. He may well be willing to go deep if this project is looking like it'll produce results, but it'll leave him shaky and rattled afterwards, and he'll be mostly out of commission for the rest of the day.
(Red vs Blue is weird, y'all.)

Since Faux doesn't have his code touching hacking powers available right now, and he is most likely not going to have an actual session of digitising into the Trains systems directly. Faux will be providing his program knowledge to the team on this investigation.
He will be focusing on the memory side of things.
As he is a program himself, perhaps his perspective may be beneficial on the psychology/behaviourist side of things. He has also experienced similar memory problems and such he has a personal understanding of what that experience is like and what to look out for. And since he lives in code, seeing discrepancies will be easier for him to pick out through the tech side of searching (perhaps through vr), though the limitation is that he is only an 1980s computer program.
His original function had him searching memory for specific data, so he is well suited for trawling through large amounts of information (and usually enthusiastically), if any teammates get tired.
Character Interests/Other Goals
Having experienced similar circumstances, Faux may feel he has a personal stake in helping the Train out, despite his grievances with it so far.
There is also the possibility of linking up to the Train somehow and figuring out how to unlock his digital sense/powers that could help in the investigation as a plot of it's own. Or even using his identity disk to dump some memories onto it and use it as a means of viewing them directly (perhaps even foolishly with side effects?). This side of things would require asking the Train to let it connect up though.

Leia's methods of contact are more spiritual, using the Force and maybe a bit of Bending. She knows enough about tech stuff to help out if need be, but will mostly be leaving that to the real experts.
She knows not to push too far, and thus will be cautious in her explorations, but will be receptive to the train if it chooses to communicate. Leia will also be there to offer moral support to all involved and generally be a sane adult presence in case one is needed.

Clef is just there to help but eager to learn anything he can in the process. Gremlin is just out to help because he's bored.
