This month is the month of Rabbit. Days can be found here.
The thought of the month is "When we forget old friends, it is a sign we have forgotten ourselves."
This means: Threading with the same character twice this month will earn you two bonus points. As a note it is possible to earn this more than once with the same character (if you thread with them four times, you will get the bonus twice) however we still expect people to mix and thread with a variety of people!

About them: Electronically-created clumsy-yet-well-meaning magical girl who has traveled to other worlds prior to being stuck on this train. May or may not be all together despite what she told Madoka earlier? shrugs
Plans: Big plan is her trying to unlock the magic in that tiara she picked up earlier last month. She knows there's magic in there, but she can't use its normal function so she needs to do things to get it working again. She'll end up getting one of those magical girl forms like they did in Equestria Girls. Long story.

About them: Alternate version of Usagi Tsukino where only she and Minako Aino woke to battle the Dark Kingdom. Got herself snazzy power ups along the way.

About them: Huntress who was dragged off into a smut-friendly game in order to revitalize that world before being dragged back to her own world briefly and ending up here. The past month has not been kind to her AT ALL.
Plans: WHERE DO I START?! Ruby is a complete and total mess between getting rejected by Kitty and the whole galaxy being erased by world eaters and not being able to save all the people from it. She's going to be a complete and total mess and she's going to need help in some way. Mostly trying to figure out if what she's doing is worth it or not.

About them: What's not to know about him? Video game icon, twice-over movie star, comic book legend, iconic cartoon character. Runs fast, is blue, sometimes gold?
But this Sonic also comes from the old DWRP "Melodies of Life", where the characters there were Warriors of Light who also fought off world-eating monstrosities. Hey, it's a living!
Plans: Well, besides getting used to being on the train (and not being able to get OFF it and probably being stuck on Purple for all eternity), he's going to find out he still has his jobs from his last game. Which means you guys get a healer again! Which isn't Sonic's thing because he'd rather fight people, but hey, you do what you gotta do!
Also, he can summon swords and bows and arrows and he's probably gonna confuse the other video game-based characters here. And maybe annoy Vegeta, who knows.

Kia | Ryo & Wash

About them: OC, Orange team, sleeper L2:B. Teenage mage and healer who's had a rough life and has only recently gained some self-esteem and started building that backbone. (His world took a perfectly good healer and gave him a tragic backstory and now he has anxiety.) Compassionate and caring with a buried temper. Good at helping; bad at asking for what he needs in turn. Sassy as hell once he starts getting comfortable around you. Please hug him.
Plans: HOW ABOUT THAT LAST MISSION, HUH? Ryo isn't over his homesickness, but he's no longer completely wrecked by it either. He's now determined to find a way to take down the world eaters; in the meantime, he's going to do his best to take care of everyone on the train and support people.
CR wanted: He could definitely use more friends his own age! Aside from that, just about anything! Be his friend or adoptive sibling, let him help you or heal you, teach him and be taught in turn, the works. He's figured out his Diagad powers, but he's still up for helping others with theirs, especially new healers. A warning, though: if CR starts out negative, it might not recover; he holds a grudge (Kabuto).
Things to avoid: ICly, nothing; OOCly, just don't go linking me pictures of spiders.

Character: Agent Washington (Wash)
About them: Space marine from Red vs Blue with CRAU from Balance and Imaginary Island; Purple team, Sleeper U1:D. Special ops agent who got betrayed by his program before it collapsed, had his psyche destroyed by a traumatized AI, rebuilt himself with revenge on the mind, and then completely failed at that revenge and the subsequent revenge on the group of lovable idiots who made his initial revenge plot fail. Got adopted by said group of idiots and is now one of their team leaders, and also a lot more chill about the whole thing. Most recently got pulled into Faerun, learned some magic, helped defeat a dimension-eating entity, and was about to go home when he ended up on platform. He's very happy. (He's not very happy.) Usually accompanied by his familiar, a large grey Norwegian Forest cat named Athena. She's friendly, usually.
Plans: Wash is on a fairly even keel, aside from being ticked that he's an entire two points short to order his armor from the train this month. For now, he's going to be trying to get new Purple team members settled and convincing his team to help Red team out with missions and chores. Someone around here has to know how to cook, right?
CR wanted: Anything! People to drink with; people to spar with, people who don't mind a good 2 AM talk; and he has a tendency to adopt kids and give them combat training if need be. Basically anything. :D
Things to avoid: Wash is pretty resilient, but I don't particularly want to break him again; if a thread starts going in that direction, I may ask for a rewrite or a change.

About them: From Yu-Gi-Oh. Big braggart tech CEO, perpetual second-placer...has now been on the train a year+ and has mellowed a lot. He's on A Mission to save the universe or whatever.
Plans: He'll be assisting with that big train contact attempt, floundering to take on more of the programming bits with Senku gone. Someone's gotta do it. Other than that...just reviewing his footage of the world eaters and trying to solve something, anything.
CR wanted: Friends please? Gamers who can challenge him, more people to tinker and build with (please). Or just hear him out. He's tired and a little jaded atm but willing to keep looking for good things.

Jake Peralta (Orange)
About them: From Brooklyn Nine Nine. A wisecracking, pop culture obsessed detective who looks like a frat boy who never grew up on the surface...but he actually just wants to figure life out and help people.
Plans: He's reeling from the last mission, and it's testing the bounds of his ability to spread cheer. Slowly figuring out that there are things he can do that aren't detective work (though he'll do that when warranted, of course).
CR wanted: More allies/pals? He's surprisingly decent with kids by now, and getting there in terms of maturity. He can adult. Sorta.
Things to avoid: Feel free to yell at him for being a cop, he's used to it. Still attached to Amy so romance won't happen for a while though.

Character: Cipher Nine
About them: Former(?) member of the Chiss Ascendancy's secret police who left the Ascendancy to assist his people by working for Imperial Intelligence instead. Started on the bottom and clawed his way up through some unimaginable bullshit, only to go through more bullshit up to and including killing SWTOR's version of basically Satan. Currently he's acting as Keeper for Imperial Intelligence aka the one giving the orders and is besties 5ever with the current Emperor, despite having killed the former Emperor and kind of sort of is the reason why the former Empress died too. Oops. Guess he has a trustworthy face though.
Has a bit of a broken moral compass, is snarky and standoffish, but ultimately isn't The Worst even though he might sell himself as such.
Plans: Likely for him to continue lurking along the edges. Though he sat out the last mission (due OOC issues on my end more than IC ones admittedly), he's seen a world be consumed and been helpless to do shit about it before, so he'll likely be feeling a tad unsettled to go along with his usual migraine. Still looking to have him maybe open up a bit but... Whether or not he will any time soon is a mystery.
CR wanted: It's still friends, and especially friends who aren't squeamish and won't take it personally if he's a rude little shit.

Character: Darth Nox
About them: Former slave, current Dark Lord of the Sith, but don't hold that against him. He's a reckless little thing who's been known to do things like inject himself with experimental serums never tested on humanoids to go spelunking through bombed out poisonous vaults, walking into places that are actively being haunted by violent and vengeful Sith spirits with absolutely zero thoughts going through his mind, drink poison in a tomb because a ghost told him it would be okay and wouldn't kill him, and attacking an enemy's base with the help of a city zoo rather than taking, you know, soldiers. While he is certainly powerful and reasonably intelligent, he's someone who doesn't so much succeed as fail ever upwards toward victory. His most recent victory being gaining a seat on the Dark Council by beating the shit out of his predecessor in front of all his buddies. As you do.
Plans: Getting him settled! He will be very curious about the train and the people on it.
CR wanted: Friends! He's always happy to meet new people and so far as Sith go, he's actually pretty chill. He might be somewhat unknowingly morbid (because he doesn't always understand that the things that he finds interesting or endearing would be horrifying to someone else) but he really is someone who thrives on making connections.

Character: Thanatos
About them: From Hades, Red Team point of contract (not a leader), Death Incarnate who is actually a nice guy (but also tsundere and emotionally confused) but is still learning how to be his own person instead of just his job as God of Gentle Death and more.
He's been here since the start of Jelly and is often accompanied by a moving plush mouse (Mort) who squeaks and wants to
FITEprotect Thanatos. Than can often be found in the quiet car, giving himself a break from feeling ill and overwhelmed by all the sensations he feels on the surface (vs the Underworld). He'll also be found in the greenhouse car, enjoying the green life there.Plans: So... uh, he has a boyfriend now! (What does he do now??) And there is hope that after all this, Thanatos might be able to have a life instead of just being Death. Despite being sad that he couldn't stay at home longer, it's still a net plus overall. Thanatos is also trying to learn how to people because holy hell he learned that he did not want to sacrifice everything he's grown to cherish.
He's also one of the healers (heavily itemed based but still healer). Thanatos trusts the Ministry and the train because so far they are trying to help his world and its lack of death due to his presence on the train.
CR wanted: Open to a lot of CR ideas. He has lost some long standing CR, so that is weighing on him and making him fall back on bad habits on fixating on work and pushing aside his own feelings.
Things to avoid: Do not try to restrain him, especially by grabbing his wrists or shoving him into a small space. Thanks, Sisyphus. You took a perfectly good death godling, gave him a month shackled in a box, and now he has trauma and a lot of insecurities. And the train made it worse.
Other: Than also has a permissions post for characters who have connections to death (though more for potential thread/CR ideas as Than has given up trying to understand this train) and also for Hades game spoilers if that's something you're worried about.
Character: Sebek Zigvolt
About them: From Twisted Wonderland, Purple Team. Sebek is a very loud and eager half-fae freshman in a magic school based off a bunch of Disney Villains. At just age 16, he's 6 feet 2 inches, so he seems really imposing... and then you realize that he's a puppy who has dedicated himself to Malleus. Everything practically goes towards bettering himself as a guard for him. He's still a kid who is secretly dealing with some issues of being mixed race even if he boasts how much better Briar Valley is and trying to present himself as fae rather than also part human. He can seem rude, but he'll be quick to recognize other's skills too. Except when it comes to Silver to his face. (Don't tell his rival Silver he actually thinks well of him!!)
Plans: A long term goal is for Sebek to reconcile with being half-fae, half-human and accept that he doesn't have to try so hard. He can live his own life too. It's not healthy for a 16 year old to spend every waking moment trying to improve himself to better serve someone else as his sword or shield.
A short term goal is for someone to knock into him that he really shouldn't be going around calling humans "human" because he has identity issues. Sebecky, you are adorable, but don't follow those racist jerks who object to a powerful fae marrying a magic-less human dentist. That's why you have identity issues in the first place! 8|
In the meantime, he'll be studying lots in the library and training in the gym. Also eating more than what a human could eat.

Character: Rezo Greywords
About them:
An antagonist from Slayers, which is an anime from the 90s and early 2000s. In his own world he was a Great Sage renowned for selflessly helping others and working miracles, while secretly doing some really awful shit in pursuit of a cure for his blindness. Turned out to have a demon thing sealed in his soul and wound up dying twice. Now he's here, still blind, still alive, and trying to figure out what he's supposed to do now.
He's on the Red Team and for all his backstory drama he's a relatively chill person most of the time. Usually in the library or one of the medical cars, listening to the ICP talk about various maladies. He has also, bewilderingly enough, developed an UST situation with someone on the train which he is trying desperately to ignore.
He is not really trying to be a better person per se but he is trying not to actively be worse, so that's something?
Plans:
For various reasons Rezo has started becoming more open to the idea of properly being Part of The Voidtrecker Team; the recent encounter with the world eaters especially has made him think that maybe the train's mission could be objectively more important than his own problems! He's still worried about his Shabranigdu situation, just less than when he first arrived, so I'm hoping to have him stick his nose into people's business more.
He's still keeping an eye out for people with strong offensive magic or strong magic sensitivity who can maybe help if Shabranigdu becomes a problem, but it's weighing on his mind less with all the recent train drama. Still probably gonna have a network post about that soon, though, hopefully.
Red Team is in charge of cooking this month and Rezo is not a great cook, so there is probably going to be an open post where he tries to figure out how to make something edible for a large amount of people. If you know how to cook, maybe give him some pointers. If you are also a lousy cook, come flail with him.
CR wanted: I'm hoping to continue developing the bits of CR he's already gotten, but I'm open to having him interact with new people too! In general I want him to start feeling like part of the community on the train instead of an outside observer (whether he likes it or not) so people he can work with and/or have friendly conversation with are especially of interest to me, but I'm also open to negative CR.

Ryou would be willing to talk about his own past if asked, especially if Rezo said anything about Shabranigdu beforehand. He may be cagey about certain parts of it, but he'll at least talk about the Ring and the spirit attatched to it.

About them: small scholar, mage (healing and ice magic), and former adventurer turned political advisor from a medieval fantasy world where everything honestly kind of sucks but she does her best to make things lest shitty.
Plans: still trying to find my footing again after a bit of a downer month tbh. Lioriley is always keeping tallies of the people on the train as a backup to the roster in case something happens or needs to be checked. She's also frequently in the library or medical bay.
After the last mission she is still absurdly depressed but actively trying to pretend she's not so she might try extra hard to speak with and bond with others aboard the train.

Esteban's just a big sunny himbo who loves talking cultures, but he'd be very intrigued to talk to another elf about what differs between their worlds. Also will be down to cheer anyone and everyone up, so if you need some sunshine, he's got you covered! I'm still running a few threads from the mission so I won't make a TL on platform, but if there's anything you want/would like to start up, I can make a log for it?
Esteban's usually in the Stone Garden praticing his poi dancing skills, or resting up against a stone lion. Other than that, he occasionally bakes sweets now (it was a shock to him too), or plays sports in the gym carriage. As potential starters on his part. If not, let me know what Lioriley tends to do, and Esteban can drop by, he always gets curious about everybody.

Medical car sounds good though! She's usually in there reading up on medical texts and trying to learn the technology since she's a magical healer from fantasy magic land so she's not used to high tech fancy shit LOL

He can't find the flashlight function on the SCA, but he DOES use a personal gravity-controlling unit machine. XD
