September Information and CR Meme!
We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.
IC Month
This month is the month of Nebula. Days can be found here.
The thought of the month is "Make new friends, but don’t forget the old, One is silver, the other is gold.".
This means: Threading with the same character twice this month will earn you two bonus points. As a note it is possible to earn this more than once with the same character (if you thread with them four times, you will get the bonus twice) however we still expect people to mix and thread with a variety of people!
Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during October AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC.
The ingredient of the month is yadon (slowpoke) tail (a strange, tough, gamy meat). Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom, refreshed at the platform, and characters are welcome to make other food with them.
This month’s chore assignments are:
Purple: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Red: Meal Preparation
Orange: Laundry
Blue: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
The Train
As a reminder, you can list things that characters have added to the train here. Just comment under the header of the carriage to which you are adding. There is also a handy spreadsheet here!
Important Dates
This month’s event will be a mission event running between the 11th and 24th of September.
The TDM will be posted on the 17th. Reserves will open on the 19th. Apps and AC are between the 22nd and the 29th.

~ Due to some real life issues Elle has dropped her characters from the game, she is remaining as assistant mod as she feels able to still help behind the scenes. She will be back playing once things calm down for her!
~ We have a mission guide in the works, in the hope that it will help ease new players through their first mission. If anyone has any suggestions of anything else pertinent they think needs to go in there please let us know!
~ A question about team switching has been added to the FAQ.
~ Our new players (and old players who want a refresher) might find it useful to read gameplay before the platform. As always the mods are happy to answer any questions you might have.

Hera Syndulla
About them: Purple team, sleeper Upper 4D. She's rebel scum taken from about a year before the original trilogy kicks off. She's a talented pilot (not super relevant on a train but hey after that last even she can fly), a pretty good tactician (actually relevant!) and fiercely protective of anyone she has decided is one of her people. She's Space Mom in a sea of dads on this train. :p
Plans: She's ordering X-Wing, B-Wing and VCX-100 modules for the flight simulator, so anyone who has ever wanted to fly an X-Wing can live the dream. She'll be happy to teach all takers how to fly. Her Diagad power is flying without a vessel so she'll be exploring that a bit too.
CR wanted: Adopting younger characters is in her nature. Fortunately for youthful protaganists her parenting style is "If I bring the impulsive kid WITH me to do the dangerous thing I at least can see them. If I tell them not to do the thing they will do the thing where I can't help them if they get in trouble."
SHe could however really use some Grownup Friends since she's wrestling with Grownup Worries.

Death
About them: Sleeper Upper 2, Red team. Will probably never do Red's actual mission. Death is a little ray of sunshine who loves you no matter what and will not judge. She's good at drawing people out and loves Disney movies. She doesn't sleep but knows mortals need that...
Plans: Her Diagad power is untangling which was just meant to be silly but might have some fun interpretations.
CR wanted: Give me your difficult people, she'll draw them out. Give me your undead and your dead in canon people.
Things to avoid: ICly she won't like you much if you're a notably powerful being who meddles in mortal affairs but no one is quite on the scale that gets a REAL Time For Death's Opinion.

Additionally and/or alternatively, would be down for some Team Mom things with Hera, as Terris' mom just.... yea, she just ditched him for a rich man without so much as a say-so. Came home to an empty house one day. ;u; He needs mum vibes.

Mordin Solus
About them: Sleeper Lower 2-D, Red team. Mordin is the very model of a scientist salarian. He's an old man who has regrets but is somewhat at peace with them because he's done what he can to set the mistakes of the past right. Yes, that's right, that's his canonpoint. He still loves science and wants to make things better, especially if he's the only one he's sure will do it right.
Plans: He has about seven new science studies he wants to do. Comparative genetics across universes and determining if there's a physiological reason staring into the Void gives you a headache. He probably also wants to know what exactly anchoring did to mess people up... Also Madoka has encouraged him to take an interest in pottery
This being mission month he will probably discover the joy of being a medic on Red Team. Or just shoot the people who are making Red Team need a medic, we'll see how it goes.
CR wanted: Science people! Also people to discuss ethics with. Or music, tell him about your music.
