Hello, Trainlings! Checking back through the comms, it looks like the last time we had a "Handwave/Assume CR" Meme was back in January, so here we are almost in July, bringing the information forward!

New Players and New Characters, this means you, too! We want you in on this meme as it's forward facing for what your characters will do during train-bound downtime!

Handwaved & Assumed CR Meme

Our characters are blessed, or cursed, with confined living spaces, and have all their own schedules and rhythms to dictate their daily lives. So how do they all interact with each other? What do characters with pets or companion animals do? What do those pets or animal companions themselves do?

This meme is a chance to see how characters may recognise each other or their pets/companions in passing, where they may be sharing spaces at similar times, or have met other passengers, allowing the kickstarting of CR without having to play out every first meeting or smaller interaction on train. Who has the time for that? (Not me, I cry emphatically, not me.)

✨ Sleeping habits?
Sleep? What is sleep? Ienzo only tends to go to bed when either he's forced to, or if he's gotten to the point where he's literally falling asleep sitting up. He does, however, keep his bed neatly made. While his person may be a bit of a mess, he's actually very clean. His bunk is the way he found it. He can't be bothered to personalize it at all.
✨ Room use habits?
Ienzo is basically never home- you'd have much better luck looking in the library. As such, he's not really there to make a mess. At worst he might leave a book or two around. When he is there, and not sleeping, he might compulsively clean things, which would include making sure his bed is neat and put away. As with the bunk, he hasn't bothered to decorate anything, because why? Any storage spaces will likely be filled with practicalities- books and teas, mostly.
✨ Bathing habits?
Ienzo takes a quick shower basically whenever he notices that he needs one (or, perhaps, if someone mentions that he should). Sometimes it can be a few days. He uses the absolute most basic products, so as a baseline he's fairly neutral smelling. He pretty much never bothers with more than just the bare minimum hygiene stuff, like brushing his hair.

Ienzo will actually take any chores seriously. He's big on helping and doing his part! Bonus, he's used to keeping the lab at home immaculate, so he's quite familiar with cleaning.
✨ Eating habits?
Ooof, his eating habits are about as healthy as his sleep habits, which is to say NOT AT ALL. He regularly forgets to eat and it's not uncommon for people to drag him off to go eat something, or perhaps bring him food in the library depending on how stubborn he's being. If he does go to the dining carriage, he's there for the bare minimum of time before leaving again.

✨ Entertainment habits?
Ienzo loves to read! Anything, really. He will read any kind of book available, to be honest. It's why he spends so much time in the library. He also really loves Science and will Science whenever the opportunity arises. He does have a laptop which is mostly used for notes and editing Vexen's ridiculousness, but it may end up being a gateway into a little gaming if someone introduces him to it. His illusion magic also means he has a creative streak, and eventually he should probably find an outlet for that, too. Suggestions welcome!

Mostly books, but he wouldn't be opposed to watching a movie/show or something!

A day in the life of...?

✨ Notable train-bound activities?
Ienzo is extremely introverted, so if he's moving around on the train, he'd like to go with as little attention as possible. He won't be creepily stalking down the halls or something, but he's also not trying to attract any attention, usually. He's very much the kind of person who doesn't start a conversation unless he has something specific to say.
✨ Notable physical traits/scents?
Ienzo is quite short for an adult human male (about 5'3 is the estimate), so there's that. He also has messy, blue-grey hair and bright light blue eyes. Once he's settled in he'll have his lab coat and purple cravat as well.
✨ Notable non-physical traits?
Ienzo is human with all that that entails. He did, however, spend 10 years (half his life!) as a Nobody, a dark heartless creature incapable of emotion. Perhaps some psychic types could sense that? Or maybe not that exactly, but that there's something different about him.
✨ Fun train-related character trivia tidbit(s)?
Probably as soon as Ienzo becomes aware that he can send ~~reports~~ feedback, he'll likely do that. He's very thorough, so have fun with those. He'll be happy just having the library, but he'd join others in requesting a lab. He'll also be... trying to avoid Lea in particular as much as possible probably, though they definitely need to talk.

Ienzo is an adorable traumatized cinnamon roll. Be nice. Unless he's being rude or intentionally difficult, in which case, don't be nice. :P

It's possible Wei Wuxian's run into him at the library a few times, enough to ask for recommendations on reading because he's a rather social, chatty person who doesn't mind reaching out to prod at introverts! For what that's worth! He'd even be willing to talk about what he's read after, though he does think the entertainment section is rather thin... sad, sad days.

Hoo boy, Wei Wuxian clearly wants to be at the library all day if he's asking questions like that! There will probably be some surprised blinking at first, but he'll adjust. ~~Also some distracted pauses, because gosh, this man is pretty.~~

I mean he won't mind, he's learning in the process and it's not an agony, and it's not like he wants to live every day the same so sure lay it on him he will be a charming listener and likely to poke at things with the mindset of the guy who definitely tends to think outside the box

and play devil's advocate to consider all things but has a moral compass that is Very Just For All, Especially The Weak And Disenfranchised. ~~Also yes please he's not even sure to recognise it so enjoy the distraction for your pauses, Ienzo! He's a harmless flirt at least, but... you're welcome to that, too, it's his innate nature, sobs~~

Well, that's good, because once he's on a topic he's knowledgeable about, he can go on for a long time. Ask Lea- he has a tendency to just cut him off when he has to.

Alignment wise, Ienzo is extremely Lawful Good, so that also works out. He can talk hypotheticals but he's not really interested in entertaining anything that's in the evil part of the spectrum.

~~Unfortunately, Ienzo wouldn't know flirting if someone beat him in the face with it. It has the potential to be simultaneously hilarious and sad.~~

Casper's in the library often enough for Ienzo to spot him, but he and Caleb are more likely the ones to spot each other from across the room, nod respectfully, and continue reading.

On the other hand Ienzo now gets dragged to dinner by Ken as well as Vexen.
