Hello, Trainlings! Checking back through the comms, it looks like the last time we had a "Handwave/Assume CR" Meme was back in January, so here we are almost in July, bringing the information forward!

New Players and New Characters, this means you, too! We want you in on this meme as it's forward facing for what your characters will do during train-bound downtime!

Handwaved & Assumed CR Meme

Our characters are blessed, or cursed, with confined living spaces, and have all their own schedules and rhythms to dictate their daily lives. So how do they all interact with each other? What do characters with pets or companion animals do? What do those pets or animal companions themselves do?

This meme is a chance to see how characters may recognise each other or their pets/companions in passing, where they may be sharing spaces at similar times, or have met other passengers, allowing the kickstarting of CR without having to play out every first meeting or smaller interaction on train. Who has the time for that? (Not me, I cry emphatically, not me.)

✨ Sleeping habits?
Danny used to really enjoy sleeping in. Unfortunately, he's been spending far too much time staring into the void. Its just migraines, he says. Its fine, he says. And definitely doesn't have anything to do with not being able to sleep and having restless dreams he doesn't remember when he does.
✨ Room use habits?
Danny has happily decorated his bunk like the space nerd he is. There are model space shuttles and glow in the dark stars arranged above his bunk in the constellations of his world. His storage cubby has a telescope and his laptop from home.
✨ Bathing habits?
Hall shower once a day.

🚆 What are choo up to?

✨ Chore habits?
Complains about it sometimes, but is mostly cheerful about doing chores. Has often been heard to remark that at least the chores here aren't trying to destroy him.
✨ Eating habits?
Danny eats whatever is available. He's not too picky.
✨ Exercise habits?
Danny has really gotten into improving his fighting skills while he's here. He spends a lot of time in the gym, practicing with his powers or learning basic fighting from anyone willing to teach.
✨ Entertainment habits?
Video games, movies, making terrible jokes.
✨ Media preferences?
Don't expect to see him in the library, but he likes playing video games in the game car and watching movies. His favorite are terrible low budget horror films, but he can persuaded to try other things.

🚆 A day in the life of...?

✨ Notable train-bound activities?
...Danny feels a little called out by that haunting the ceilings suggestion. Because he does. He used to leave footprints on the ceiling, but got guilted into cleaning up after he'd been walking there. Its not unusual to find him floating near the ceiling of different cars, flying in circles or trying to find somewhere he can make ice without bothering anyone.
✨ Notable physical traits/scents?
Danny looks very normal when he's human, although there are ghost traits that bleed through a little. His temperature is a little colder than normal and when he gets angry his eyes glow green. As a ghost he has white hair, glowing green eyes, and he has a silvery glow around him even in daylight.
✨ Notable non-physical traits?
Half-ghost. He doesn't feel completely dead or alive, but something that is a little of both.

Watch out for occasional ghostly behavior. And bad jokes.

Hello there fine young spirit what are you up to other than the ceiling??? Past the first time it'd likely just be a "Hey, [ However Danny Introduces Himself ]" in passing, and a "How're things today?"

At least once, Danny has responded to "What's up?" As "Other than me?"
