Hi there! Oh yes an AU!type Bucky probably can be helpful for a slightly shell-shocked survivor kid getting their bearings. They'll definitely have to meet.

Oh that's great! I actually really love the assigned team dynamic, it's so neat to see everyone get assignments and figure out how to take on roles for their group. Yes :> He'll have to meet Soldat if not just around the train, than definitely on a mission!

Soldat is in the kitchen car like 60% of the time, and tends to go hunting for new people the first day anyway. With cookies. I'm sure we can work something out :D
