Yup, he's got his own fire trauma. He was stopped thankfully, but that was sure something he planned to do...

And look sometimes you just gotta get out of a really bad situation by dying in a fire. It's fine. Everything is just peachy.

Dennis was complicit in a fire that killed a baby. He didn't set the fire, but he was there with his shithead friend. It's why he ended up becoming a firefighter, to try and make amends in a way. To do better, be better and save people. Also maybe tried to die saving someone in a big tunnel fire.

Ray unfortunately won't open up right away about his own situation, but maybe one day he can talk about his fire trauma.

Same hat for Dennis. Maybe some vague stuff, but yeah. Must unlock friend lvl 10 or some nonsense for that backstory.

Rocky cr is definitely something I don’t get a lot of with my other character, so Ray will be a nice change of pace.

It can be real fun to play it out and super rewarding if it eventually gets to positive friendly cr!

Heck even if it don't. Sometimes you just have people you don't full get on with and that's okay.
