When I'm not working or sleeping I'm probably playing Overwatch (PS4), RPing or crying over ships with pals. Current canons I'm active or still interested in: Overwatch, Detroit: Become Human and The Untamed.

Character: Dennis Severs
Canon: The Smoke (OU). It's a short lived TV series from the UK about a group of firefighters. Mostly focusing on my boy Dennis and the head of the fire watch, Kev. It's a rough 8 ep slog (and some things haven't aged well), but Taron Edgerton is fantastic as Dennis. Worth it for him, but I'm bias.

Cabin and team: Sleeper 8, Cabin A. Purple team!

Little bit about them: Dennis is a rookie firefighter for the white watch in London who's got a troubled past. He's working hard to better himself and be a good man. He doesn't want to end up like his father, dead beat and went to jail for murder. Rough around the edges, but he's got a good soul in him.

Hopes and dreams: Would love CR with people his around his age (19), but also he's pretty great with kids too. Real patient and caring, so that could be nice to play out! Could be interesting to have some sort of fatherly figure as well, one that doesn't lose his mind or isn't complete shit. Of course we won't say no to that as well. Equal opportunity employer here!

Oh. He's scared of dogs too. Sorry to all dogs. Friendship ended with dogs, cats are my friends now.

I'm on the wrong journal here, but he and wwx (I'm the crau one from slumscape obliviouspatriarch, playing his novel iteration) could get along well on their dog fears! Gotta love that dog phobia!

Now with the correct journal with Willow here, she's much older, but if he'd allow it she could be a sisterly or possibly motherly figure. She's got her own group of teens and kids she's already adopted here

It's one of my favourites tbh, I love playing both ends of it when it gets cute as all hell but also when the Big Sads hit that can cause conflict. It's just the best.

Poor Wuxian indeed, and Dennis too! I hope Dennis isn't afraid of foxes, since my guy's crau is from a game that has youkai possess people and wwx's is a Kitsune with all nine of his tails. Though he can transform at will if anything gets too much in ways of the phobia

He's not "afraid", but he'd be wary as heck. A fox is still a wild animal. Tho he's never been bitten by a fox. Yet.

Guilty as charged! I originally was going to app Simon, but nostalgia bug bit my ass and I apped this boy instead. Really enjoying the tdm thread tho! I don't know Murphy's canon at all, but still having a good chuckle at those two.

SPEAKING OF QUESTIONABLE FATHER FIGURES, hey Yondu. Been a hot second since I've watched either GotG movie, but he was always fun.

It's not a very serious canon. It was marketed to Walking Dead fans and honestly it should have been marketed to Evil Dead fans. They kill zombies with the liberty bell and a giant cheese wheel (not at the same time). It's messed up.

Yondu's been doing pretty good here (and been watching out for a few kids) since he's not had a crew that he has to look like a hardass for. But he's also running around with a lot of guilt and constantly kicking his own ass.

Am I trash if I've not seen neither of those canons either? But a ridiculous zombie show that doesn't entirely take itself seriously does sound fun. Though just what Murphy told Simon about how he became a Blend was whoa. That part is not fun.

Boy I love a man who can kick his own ass. That's good for Yondu tho, glad he's able to be a little bit more of his own man without having to posture so much for his crew. Just a rag tag group of rascals I'm sure. Dennis hasn't had the best luck with male role models in his life, bug I'd love cr with Yondu. Sorry if he asks if you're part of the Blue Man Group.

Luckily he's getting used to the blue commentary (Handsome Jack hologram is blue too, so he's not the only blue guy). Hopefully he can be a good guy to know! He's been okay so far. It really helped that the first event when he got here was one where a bunch of people age regressed and he had to summon all his decent dad traits for a few days, so he's less prickly. He saw a lot of crew as messed-up kids.

And yeaaaah, like, Murphy can be a complete turd whose redemption arc is more of a wobbly sporadic pulse monitor than a rise in character morals, but the whole human test thing was pretty nightmarish for him.
