Project Purple Census (Collection Entry)

So you got put into Purple. Or you like Purple enough to stick around more often than not. Great! Then this one's for you.

THE OFFICIAL PURPLE TEAM CENSUS (IC SURVEY; CLICK FOR FIRST TIME READERS/NEWCOMERS)

[ Your character is free to find a tall stack of the following one-page letter in the library car, after Roland announces the initiative on the ICP on behalf of the leadership team. ]

WHEN A MISSION IS CALLED,

🟣 Roles are voluntary. Other than team leads and inventory managers, which require sticking to Purple Team more, characters (and players!) should feel free to swap teams as they please. Due to the size of Purple, this is ICly encouraged!
🟣 Picking roles. If your character can cover multiple roles, then note it down! Needs will shift depending on the mission. Besides, these will only be relevant depending if your character comes along, and what items they will be given before a mission.
🟣 Liaisons. If signing up for Liaison, you may be asked to help during off-missions as someone who can be approached for FAQ/help along with the leads.
🟣 Hammerspace. If your character has means of carrying extra supplies through magic or some other canon item, but has no interest in distributing supplies to individuals, please let us know so you may pass them onto people who can take them from you as needed (Inventory Managers, Non-combatant/Supply Lines)

Eight is serious and dedicated (and seriously dedicated) to any task set before her. She is flexible enough to shift her focus as-needed, and does not mind providing instruction and being helpful. Her serious tendencies can also be problematic as she cannot stand indolence and will push herself far beyond good sense. Outside of her assigned tasks, she has a tendency to be on the shyer side (its an Octoling trait) and prefers maintaining a smaller network of close friends. However, she does have a desire to be more in the social sphere and is willing to push herself out of her comfort zone for the sake of others. Finally, she is fatally weak to water.

✔️ Earth mage: this has both offensive and defensive magic built in.
✔️ Empath: he can feel and manipulate emotions, though the latter is something he doesn't even try to do. He has used it as a weapon in the past. It's also an effective way to sense living beings, though he can't read thoughts, just feelings.
✔️ Healing: it's less "magic", though his Earth magic can be used to heal, and more like he absorbs his patient's injuries, and uses his own regeneration ability to then heal those wounds.

✔️ [ 04 ], mostly because he's rather mobile between Kumoko's teleportation ability and his own flight. He's his own portable heal mobile! But he does get tired and he does need to eat, so while he can also do medic things besides his magical healing, he'd be carrying food so he can recharge his own batteries (and others', if needed). He can also be something of an extraction guy.

[ ✔️ Yes ] He was assigned a black armband on the Nion mission and, unless asked, has not given it back. He doesn't really use it at the moment.

He is very much a golden retriever puppy in a humanoid form, and just wants to help.

He would be able to communicate with everyone as long as they don't have any mental blocks, but in order to contact him directly people would need his personal password.

It would just be like speaking in your head. they would be hearing his voice and he would be able to hear what they are thinking. Since he would be the one initiating it, they wouldn't need to have the ability themselves.

Five... bears? O.o I don't know what that means. Like actual bears? They'd be happy to learn how to make lembas though, absolutely! Raven got them some their first day.

Honestly, Soldat would be so happy to be given a job, especially one focused on feeding people. Structure man, it's great. I'm happy to play it out IC if you wanna :3 And happy to work with others IC, Soldat and Mami talked a few times so they're familiar ^^ Soldat basically spends a solid chunk of each day in the kitchen car anyway, trading their own team chores for cooking with somebody.

Kitty is trying to be more open about being a Mutant, but it can be a touchy subject sometimes.

Ah yes, actual bears! There was a hunt a few missions ago and a few characters hunted bears. So. Bears. That need to be cleaned and cooked. Some people went wild with the bears.

But yes absolutely! After platform cooking adventures Tidus would absolutely be like oh, they should do meal preps.

Edit: Btw here's a spreadsheet you can access to add foods, etc that Soldat would have made and that are available as they come up, etc.

There's also a small what's up here to look at when you have the time!

Also if you don't want to really put numbers for the quantity of food, that's fair. You can always just got 'low, decent, high' for quantity. Yes. We won't fuss about it being updated regularly, it's just a 'yo this is what the team has'

Just as a note, if this is Kumoko's black armband, that's not a hammerspace (unless she made it so?) but what Kumoko uses to track your character. It's a spy band.

A lot of Yuume's skillset was noted in a prior thread with Roland specifically, but a perhaps vital note- whether it comes out ICly or not- is that she's nyctophobic...which is to say, deeply and traumatically afraid of pitch dark. (Which might seem odd given her powerset but...nope, she really is...)

She also has a tendency to neglect her own safety if it could mean the safety of Literally Anyone Else.

Welp. Soldat... does know a little about field-dressing hunted meat, but it's always been like rabbits and things, from the war. Now that I know there's bears I'ma have to have them poke at those XD

Soldat also basically did a bunch of meal prep before the last mission without anyone telling them to, Titus might have noticed that, too. They didn't know about arm bands so it was all just non-perishable stuff and some soup for the first day. They were basically the food supply person for missions in my last game, so they do this naturally >.>

I'll start poking that spreadsheet as we get closer to mission then :3 And maybe poke Cassie, since Soldat knows she's the quartermaster already, and would want to coordinate... hmm.

Tidus would/will bring up about Inigo for the bears, since he has more experience with hunted meats, and was also the one who called for the hunting for supplies!

The arms bands are only a few honestly, though there's been a general supplies for a while that offer out potions, foods, etc. before missions. But tbh people can do what they want and do. 🤷

Basically it can be assumed that the Inventory Managers would be made aware of each other. o7 But yes, whatever's easiest for you!

We will make sure Taiki is always around someone who is a total Combatant, and his diplomacy soft skill is going to be a huge advantage too. Would he be interested in helping audit supplies since he is comfortable with helping out Inventory Management? :) Or maybe even suggest good pairings and match-ups given the results of the IC survey so that everyone's sixes are always covered!

you know Tidus is going to tell him he can help out with food and checking the comms and whatever else that comes up that can keep him out of the fighting action!!! we are going to keep a kirin safe.

He can help audit supplies and also help matching people. He'd be pretty good at both of those things.

He will do anything he is asked as long as it's not fighting :P He will try and be helpful
