Welcome Guide Fixing/Remake??
As people know, Eva maintains the Welcome Guide, and with the dissolution of the Council, she'll have been looking for Group Heads/Leaders, or whoever would know the most about what said groups on the train are doing, so she can add them to the Guide. The same with anyone who's written other guides. This is so she can say 'hey, want more info on X, please go see Y/Y's guide.'
ICly, Eva'll have been making a general pest of herself for info re: this, and double-checking she's got all her facts right! If you want to thread it out rather than handwave, I'm up for that, too. She'll make a call for people to look over the re-worked Welcome Guide on Imagination 26 so details can also be hammered out then if you'd rather.
OOCly, I thought it best to start on this now, as I know there's a fair bit that needs to be added, changed, or taken out. Also depending on interest, I'm willing to hand over the 'IC calendar'; that was just Eva's IC way of tracking platforms and worlds and train events in an effort to find a pattern.
She can also be convinced to take on one or two helpers re the Guide, though I'd rather that be threaded out.
The proposed guide is below and very much open to 'hey add x group', 'what do you mean by Y' or 'please re-word Z'.
OOC: Eva will be periodically updating this as time goes by. There's an IC Common Knowledge and Rumours post for what it says on the tin.
Theleaflet guide's printed over three standard A4 computer paper pages, and separated into various headings that've been linked for OOC ease. As well as a number of copies, there's also a copy pinned next to each ICP with a handwritten IC calendar under it.

'Your VoidTrip and You; A Survival Guide by Eva'
The Brief Facts(make this a cover page?)
- The VoidTrecker is a Void/Space train and we all felt a pull to board it.
- Take time to process the situation. We've put this together to help you.
- There are Leaders on the Train: Teams and Groups.
- We all come from different worlds and as such, everyone's world is different and holds different stands off acceptable or not. Do not assume your standards are universal.
- No, we don't know where we're headed, what the ultimate destination is or how long this will take. All we know so far is we've been brought here to be heroes.
- We stop at a world once every month for Missions. No, you don't have to do them and you don't have to stick with your team on them. Do let your Team Leads know if not going with your team.
- There is a questionnaire we'd like you to fill out, but it's not compulsory. Your Team Leads may ask you to fill out another one as well.
- This is an ongoing work and is occasionally updated based on ongoings on the Train. It'll also reference or direct you to other guides or people were possible. This is not intended to cover everything.

The Details
- Things we have learned
Around the Train-
- We've been able to speak to the Conductor, and I believe we've complied the information on the shared computer. I, personally, have reason to believe some of what learned is false, espeically in regards to time back on our worlds.
- We have also tried and failed to get into the engine carriage and the walls. The sign on the wall is there for a reason. Nothing we have can breakthrough whatever it is, and trying to break into that or walls is dangerous both to you and others, and can damage the items in the storage car, which is where our food is stored.
- There's little to no privacy on the train, and there's a number of us with enhanced/heightened senses, meaning they can hear, smell, and see things that most can't. As such, we all need to try and get along at the very least. Please use the bathing facilities regularly.
- None of those you'll meet on the train are responsible for this nor do we know how to get home. We are working on it, though.
- The ICPs -Information and Communication Points- either broadcast to the whole train, to a specific car or a cabin. Person to person isn't available. They have video and audio, though if you're a robot, or have an applicable physical need, you can do text as well. The ICPs don't save anything for later reference either. So if it’s important, write it down. We have yet to figure out a way to solve this.
- Your SCA -Safety Control Apparatus- is vitally important and if you think that something screwy should be up re your biology but isn't while on the train, it’s likely the SCA doing something to keep it unscrewy.
- While we don't have to wear it on the train, we do need to wear it on the missions because this is what keeps us safe, alive, and allows us to evacuate back to the train via three quick taps in the case of an emergency. It also allows us to communicate with one another while on missions.
- The Luggage car is the smoking car. It's not on fire. The vines and other ‘decorations’ are there to keep the air clean and to provide a friendly atmosphere if you ever find yourself there unexpectedly.
- The Garden car has artwork of ants on the ground and they're not real. Please don't ruin Cassie Lang's hard work.
- If you would like a plot in the Greenhouse, please talk to Glorfindel.
- The points you see on the Roster next to your name are basically our money here and we don't all get the same amount for whatever reason. We haven't figured how exactly we get them outside missions and chores.
- If there is anything on the Train you have questions about, please ask. From the toilets to the showers, to the kitchens to the laundry, not everyone came from a world where these items existed.

The Teams/The Groups-
- There are Team Leaders. We will introduce ourselves to you.
- Team Leads are members have stepped up to help their team and are there to assist with coordination on missions for food, water, sleep, and healing, as well as helping with tools and training between missions.
- If a team member goes missing, the Team Leads are the ones who should know about it first and alert others. While on missions, it is their responsibility to keep their team safe and accounted for, making sure everyone gets back to the Train safe and secure.
- [SOMETHING ABOUT THE 'MAIN' GROUPS HERE. Science, Healers, Greenhouse etc.]
- There's a trainwide meeting at least once a month and the agenda isn't set. It's pretty much open to all. [Do we have a set date/time this happens or????]
Orange: Curufin, Eva, Charlotte(the Spider)
Red: Lightning
Blue: Piccolo, and Lan WangJi
Purple: Glorfindel, Roland Crane
Black: Charlotte(the Spider), Roland Crane, (not an official train team and more of a Squad, but we're taking victories where we can)

People on the Train-
- Every one of us, adult or child, has been brought here by unknown forces and we're all from differing worlds with differing cultures and morals. Even those from “Earth” aren’t necessarily from the same one. Call them Dimensions, Worlds, or Universes. Point is not all of us are human, even if some of us might look it. Not everyone has the same culture or morals. Don't assume; ask first before you assume. It will save headaches and likely make you allies because you asked.
- Some of us come from worlds where we were held captive or were dead, so if someone says they don't want to talk about something, please don't push. (Unless you are offering mental health therapy, and then only if the person is willing.)
- Yes, we have proof and yes there really are kids and other cultures onboard.
- Prepare to rework your definition of 'people' in some way or form as not all people are humanoid or look human.
- There are clubs and activities you can join. One is the Bardic Circle, a music group run by Glorfindel, and the Fight Club, for those who want to learn (or teach) how to fight or just to spar with someone, run by Tobias Rieper.
- There's a few animals you'll see around the train; those without SCAs are people's pets. Animal companions will have collars that match our team colour. Any animal bought via the on-board shop with points may or may not. (There's an OOC list of who owns what).
- These also include creatures called pokemon, three of which belong to Eva Iden'no and are generally friendly and roam the train at will. That said, if you want to move one of them for whatever reason, please call Eva, especially if it's Princess.
[Underneath are three, named photos of Eva's pokemon: Princess, Dancer (the red one), and Lele.]
- Senku Ishigami has the other pokemon from Eva’s world. He's named Orion and yes, he really is that pink. [Underneath is a photo of Orion.]
- Jounouchi Katsuya also has a few pokemon that roam around and they can be recognised because they look different from Eva's pokemon. [Insert photo's of Jou's pokemon?]
- Additionally, there are the Digimon. They look very similar to pokemon, but can talk and are very much sapient. If you want to know who their person is, just ask them, they will be proud to tell you. [Maybe photos of the Digimon?]
- Roland Crane also has Higgledies, which are small sprites from his world. Two are the Individual Companions of Tidus and Inigo respectively, while the other two currently remain with Roland. They also like to hang out around other VoidTreckers who are Roland’s friends. [Maybe photos of the Higgledies?]
- We have some well-known individuals on board who might be famous characters of fiction or from the media on your world. Please don't fanperson over them; no-one enjoys it.
- Keep your ticket on you at all times. It's Important. Yes it shows your name, as do the cabins, but if you have something else you actually go by, we will respect that.
- Please tell your Team Leaders if you need to hide that name for whatever reason. Our aim is to keep our Teams and this train as safe as we can.

Platforms/Worlds-
- The Train makes stops every so often.
- Every fortnight/two weeks/fourteen days (give or take), it's a platform like the one you were just on, where new people board and sometimes passengers leave. We don't stay long, but it is a chance to briefly get off the train if you want. This is also when the Train restocks and store purchases arrive in the Luggage car using the name on your ticket.
- Every month we're given a mission to assist a world in a crisis. We're split into our teams and given team-specific objectives, though you do not have to stay with your team, if you do join another team, please tell your Team Leaders.
- So far all of these missions have been very legitimately in crisis and in need of our help, though the briefings are sparse.
- Some people stay behind on the train, or if there is a station on the world, there.
- We tend to stay on a world for about seven days until these missions are complete.
- Tell your Team Leaders if you plan to do another Team's mission or stay on the Train. Leaders are there to make sure you are safe. We can't do that if we don't know where you are.

Disappearances-
- If a person Vanishes, their name on the passenger list turns Gold. This happens in two known ways.
- Temporarily: Sometimes, for some unknown reason, people vanish; called to see the Conductor, and return with no memory of what happened when they disappeared. Don't be alarmed if you wake up in a suitcase in the Luggage car. It's not locked and you can get out (we’ve got people regularly checking the car for returns). So far no one has come back harmed in any way, though the time they've disappeared varies. Yes, it's weird, we know.
- Permanent: They leave on a platform like you may have seen. They aren't responsive to anything around them and most people who leave that way don't come back. In the cases where someone has returned after leaving, they typically don’t have any memories, though have at one case where they do. There is a theory that the more involved in the train life you get, the less likely you will leave permanently like this, but it's still just a theory.

Things we have learned-
- If you are interested in learning more about what we have been slowly discovering about the Void, the Void Ministry, and the Void Trecker itself, there are some books in the Library, and several of us get together periodically to share and discuss new information.
- We are working on getting everything we the Void Treckers have personally learned into a central place like a Journal as well, so please be patient.
