IC Month

This month is the month of Imagination. Days can be found here.

The thought of the month is: "We are made to persist. That's how we find out who we are."

This means: Any thread that reaches 15 comments (total) will earn you two points.

Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during December AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC!

Recipes are here. The ingredient of the month is Honey. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom and characters are welcome to make other food with them.

This month’s chore assignments are:

Blue: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Purple: Meal Preparation
Red: Laundry
Orange: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms

The Train

When characters regroup on the train after the platform they will find a new carriage at the end of the train, beyond the luggage carriage.

Triage

This carriage is a double carriage. At the back of the car is a staircase, but at the front there's a lift connecting the two floors. Both floors have a corridor running down the left hand side.

The bottom floor is one large carriage, though there are curved curtain rails on the ceiling so that thick, grey curtains can be pulled around areas to cut them off. There are four medical beds that can be wheeled around or locked in place, and a handful of chairs. There are cupboards with medical equipment, primarily for first aid.

Upstairs there are two surgical bays. Though the equipment is basic, it is enough that wounds can be sewn and minor procedures undertaken. The ICP in this room has instructions for more complicated medical procedures but also carries warnings that advanced medical training is advised and surgery should only be carried out by senior medics.

This has been updated on the setting. Remember to let me know if your character does anything to alter the setting!

Important Dates

This month there will be two mini events! One on the 12th December which will be a little more meta-plot orientated and one on 20th which will be seasonal festive fun!

There is also a player-ran train meeting going up on the 5th December. As a reminder we have a player plot calendar for any large train-wide things anyone wishes to organise!

The TDM will be posted on the 16th. Reserves will open on the 19th. Apps are between the 22nd and 29th. AC will run from the 23rd to the 30th of December.

~ The mod team would like to give a huge THANK YOU to Ree (Player of Tidus) for her tremendous help during the boss battle! Team two have her to thank for that epic fight.

~ Talking of that fight and the mission: if any characters died please report their deaths here.

~ We have compiled the story so far for those interested in the slowly unfolding meta-plot!

~ AC this month will be check-in only. As long as you check in on the AC post when it goes up you will pass AC and get the 5 points for doing so. There will still be the opportunity to claim bonus challenge AC. If you are holding a strike from November you will have the option to either clear it in December or take the free check in and carry your strike over into January.

Character: Allen Walker
About them: D.Gray-Man, Kind Hearted guy who leans more towards wanting to say as many people as possible and gets upset if anyone gets hurt or dies (There are exceptions to this, but you can count the number on one hand). Back home he had issues of knowing that one day he will lose himself and someone else will take over.
Plans: Since Bulla is coming onto the train and will remember him, Allen is going to have a very interesting time. Back in genessia he had what is dubbed an unknown crush on her... because he's never really experienced, romantic love on anyone so is a clueless idiot.

So Allen is pretty much going to be an awkward dork on the train during the next couple of weeks because of it. So please come help him.
CR wanted: I am up for any kind of CR with Allen. The hardest to honestly get is negative. You have to be a major unrepentant asshole to get him to dislike you.

At least once he figures himself out he will get better for the most part... He will apologise probably later for being awkward.

Character: Yugi Mutou
About them: Yu-Gi-Oh!, he likes games, hates violence pretty much is a sweet and kind person.
Plans: The only thing I have planned for him is the whole learning self-defense but that is about the extent of it. He will never want to learn anything that can harm someone no matter what. Even this mission has only made him want to learn more defense than offense thanks in part to Tidus giving him his shield for that time.

It's still a way to help in his mind.

Nita... might want to catch up with Yugi?

She likes him, but might have missed him at the battle - and given the state Seto ended up in, that's extra reason for her to be worried.

Let her show you how to shield things, Yugi. ;a;

Yugi was eventually told to go back to the train, so probably why they didn't see each other during.

Yugi just wants to be useful in a tough situation without resorting to actual violence...Shielding people so they can focus on doing the violence just seems like a good idea.

Character: Rapunzel
About them: Tangled, A girl whose been trapped in a tower for almost 18 years of her life all because she had magical healing hair, which in game she no longer has... at least the hair wise. She does still have the power to heal, but is unable to access it.
Plans: I don't have any plans with Rapunzel for this month at least. But she will be feeling guilty and bad at the fact she can't really help healing wise during missions when it's something people really need.
CR wanted: All of the CR, she needs more friends and chosen family.
Things to avoid: N/A

Rapunzel!!! Glorfindel offers her much hugs.

They have a Trauma car to paint now. Also, perhaps something fun for the spa car? (No, a million faces would be bad...right? LOL)

If they were lifelike faces it might be a little too much. Rapunzel's style maybe less so...

... Webmind can help her paint.

I don't know if I'll have an appropriate tag for it this week, but that can be a thing.

That will be fine. Rapunzel is pretty much painting daily anyway since she finishes her chores really in the day.
