Little bit about them: Rei is a rare case of 'the writers didn't care about a girl character so hard that they accidentally implied an incredible journey off-screen' just by having her show up at weird times. She's apparently some kind of genius, able to ace the high school entrance exam for Kaiba's magical card game school while in fifth grade, and then aggressively continued to fake her identity multiple times (well, twice) to try to get into that school early, because her crushes were there.

It's very awkward, honestly. She's weird. She's both incredibly intelligent and has never had a good idea in her life.
Hopes and dreams: ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING I want her to try to solve all problems with card games, no matter how ridiculous! And maybe that basing her entire life around her elementary school crush on one dude is a bad idea! we have many options!

Currently hoping to one day go into teaching, and for now I'm living with my two cats, and my husband. Whoo -!

A lot of my timeline is DWRP Game focused, but sometimes it has IRL too? Also YGO. Or JJBA. Those are currently my big fandoms so.

(And aside from Yuume here, you've probably seen me with Jonouchi and Emporio on that note!)

Character: Yuume Souryuu - she'll notably be listed as Yuume Kaiba on the Roster.
Canon: Yuume's from an 'original series' I came up with, which in itself is an AU of the franchise as a whole; all series from DM to Arc-V are blended within a timeline, and ultimately this means three key things.

One, the world's reset chronologically after the end of DM about...twice now.

Two, while GX and 5Ds sort of 'repeated' in alternate connected realities, Zexal is only about a decade before Yuume's time.

And Three, Yuume's time is, on top of that, over 100 years after the end of DM! She's from the year 2138! Wow!

In any case, stuff is pretty heavy in Reiyoku- ka battles and shadow games are basically real for everyone now, known as Shadow Battles over all (though not just anyone can lock a soul up, and thank gosh.)

Cabin and team: Purple Team, Cabin 2-E!
Little bit about them: Something of the cast's mom-friend (while being the main protag HAHA), Yuume has a whole lot to give and not a lot to keep for herself. She's just a bit lacking on the selfworth end- heck, for those talking to her in Japanese, they'll hear her use Jibun for herself a fair bit. (It's simultaneously a casual pronoun and an impersonal one. Distance without the formalities! Neat stuff but also weird when it's from someone you would think you're close to.)

Also she's nyctophobic- she'll probably ask around for glowsticks, since she normally carried some around as an emergency deal for blackouts.

In Yuume's world, she's what's called A 'Doctor'- a duel/shadow doctor, specifically. This means it'd be her job to enter the souls (known as 'Dreams') of people who had their shadow (a part of said soul) damaged, taken, or killed, and...well, fix it! She has the tool for this with her, but don't expect her to go flaunting it. This is a serious deal where she's from.

Also, she can fight. With a big sword. That's her go-to, actually.
Hopes and dreams: Yuume's pretty quick to throw herself into a role of Trying To Help without much thought for how she's doing, so it'll be fun to see how that works out on the train.

ALSO if anyone's wondering about the...Kaiba thing, this has been talked about with the YGO player cast- she'll be trying to avoid Yugi and Kaiba for a bit, what with not wanting to make it weird. That said- all of us are inviting folks to start ICly coming up with all kinds of theories on what's going on here, because that stuff's hilarious.

Canon: The Untamed, that show with the Chinese wizards

Little bit about them: He's a blind, soft-spoken swordsman and cultivator. Basically, a Daoist priest who can uses Qi in his spells and talismans. He came from the end of his canon point, where it's really a very Bad, Very Tired End that his soul was fragmented and broken. So he is very Tired, melancholic, and depressed sometimes. He's very connected to A-Qing and Xue Yang story, so that alone should tell you enough. He came from the same world of Lan Wangji, Wei Wuxian, and Wen Qing.

Hopes and dreams:
- He's blind, so he needs some help getting around as he may bump into things or people, and he uses his sword in it's sheath to maneuver, so maybe he needs a stick eventually? Please give him one?
- Meet roomates
- He's very terrible at chores, so he'll try his best to help, but the result maybe a disaster, since he can't see and he is very Tired and not very motivated to do much. Eventually, with some time, he'll become efficient in his tasks with some help
- He might not be very motivated to complete his tasks or missions properly because very Tired, but he will Try
- He's very Tired, so he's going to rest and meditate in the garden a lot
- He very much like the movies or listen to available audio books
- Eventually he'll try to learn and read braille, and will take an interest to learn English
- He can write calligraphy and do paintings if given a paint and brush
- His soul, will, and self-esteem can grow stronger with the right connections and friendship and alies, and eventually, once he comes around, he'll be a good teacher and healer to teach sword fighting and martial arts
- Please, give him your kids! I'm interested in him being a father figure, however he is weak-willed. He does enjoy giving candy and sweets, and play with them
- Teach him how to use technology and play games
- Eventually, he'll adopt A-Qing like a father figure, once he figure himself as one

- Also I'm quite aware of a certain Xue Yang murder A-Qing plot that happened not too long ago. So if anybody wants to fill him in, go ahead and tell him the whole story, and he'll answer questions once he's certain you're a friend or A-Qing's friend. I actually would like this to happen first before he and Xue Yang eventually meet. He would need a support system, at least a friend he could trust because these two are mortal enemies.

Other: I have a opt-out/trigger warning/permission post because he'll appear on the platform with confusion due to his matter of death. Please let me know if CR and friendship interests you. Generally speaking, if there's an open post or top-level, you're more than welcome to help him and hit him up! Looking forward to play with all of you.

Little bit about them: Agent 8 is an Octoling, the enemy faction of the Inklings. Except she heard the Heavenly Melody and became really interested in Inkling culture. Where she previously was a child soldier in a paramilitary regime and survived an Aperture-like testing facility and died multiple times, now she's embraced her softer side and wants to live a metropolitan lifestyle. She's a good-natured but sheltered octogirl that also knows her way around military ordinance.
Hopes and dreams: Honestly anything! She's pretty easy-going but also competitive and wants to learn about everything. She'd naturally gravitate more toward you military-types and kids her own age, but I'd also wouldn't mind senpai/kohai, teacher/student, and other people for her to watch out for.

Hopes and dreams: I on the other hand do not take him seriously at all. I hope he gets to bounce off of all types of people. I want other Red team members to complain when he insists on meetings and coordination. I want him to get involved in silly situations and shenanigans. Hell, if we can get him to act his age for once, I’ll feel like it’s an accomplishment.

Little bit about them: Siebren is a genius astrophysicist with gravity powers. He tends to be quirky and generally friendly; that said, he's also deeply traumatized, in a disconnect-from-reality sort of fashion. (He will insist he's fine, really.) He also hears music in his head all the time - whether it's an actual reflection of the universe or just a result of trauma isn't terribly clear, but it is very, very real to him.
Hopes and dreams: GIVE ME EVERYTHING. Science friends, science rivals, weird friendships that shouldn't work but do, teenagers that need a quirky grandpa mentor, everything. Now that he has proof the multiverse exists, Siebren is going to throw himself headfirst into figuring out how 1) the multiverse and 2) the train function. Aside from that, it's going to be a whole lot of getting to know people and fitting in - after all, it is important to know one's team, is it not?

(Way down the road, I do want some of his closer CR to figure out that Something Is Off and try to talk to him about it, but that is future!Siebren's problem.)

Hey! I'm Usagi, here with an orange (Emporio), blue (Jonouchi) and purple (this gal, Yuume), but whoever I tag with oh man, I'm excited. I saw this guy on the tdm and on the apps page and just grinned REAL big man, I'm super glad to see the character here.

Chances are that missionwise it'll be either Emporio or Yuume who meets him first but who knows what will happen on this here train so yesssss...

(That said speaking of 'things that are off', Yuume's job normally entails working with soul-scapes/mind-scapes/whatever you'd call it so Hmmmm... ....and on the science end Emporio's an 11-basically-12 year old casually breaking a few laws of reality so eyyy)

Cabin and team: Blue; Cabin A, Cabin Sleeper 5
Little bit about them: To sum up Nike in one sentence: a shoujo princess with an identity crisis of wanting to be a shounen protagonist only to get her wish in the end before the setting reminds her she is in a shoujo -- sad/bad endings not allowed.

But other than that, Nike is a tomboy princess with the power of Disney singing to activate her powers of controlling the weather and absorbing other people's sadness into her own body while hearing voices of nature/the dead. She is a tough cookie! A bit of a savage in the being straightforward department. Loves to crossdress as a boy because she looks hotter as one than as a girl (unfortunately a manga gag) and if she finds beautiful guys, then she'll feel the need to convince them to crossdress with her or simply wants to dress them up. Oh, and get platonic gay crushes on tough but beautiful women. In general, she gets platonic crushes on beautiful people who possess beautiful colorings (white hair, red eyes, gold eyes, and silver eyes being her absolute favorites in no particular order).

Outside of the gags, however, Nike is a character with many layers. She is a protector of everyone and everything. Her role as a guardian spirit and rain summoner encourages her to seek out those who need help to come out of their shells and be more honest with themselves.
Hopes and dreams:

Nike's primary focus will be forming a connection with anything spiritual! With there being no sky, no world to connect to, and simply hearing the void's sounds constantly -- she will be feeling slightly paranoid and empty, but hopeful after realizing THERE ARE OTHER WORLDS!!!! She is a primary believer the stars are their worlds and only to learn she wasn't too far from the truth will be amazing. Needless to say, she'll want to make as many friends as possible!

With that said, Nike has a couple of invasive abilities, so I would appreciate everyone interested in getting CR can fill out some, if not all, the permission forms on her opt-out/permission post.

Now, what can Nike offer in way of CR?

☇ Someone willing to help other characters come out of their shells due to anti-social, traumatic, or other reasons.
☇ Wanting to help characters grow in their emotional arcs.
☇ Helping characters have restful, dreamless sleep, no matter the situation.
☇ Encourage others to go on adventures with her!
☇ Someone willing to fill her in on the setting, in general, by taking her under their wing per se.
☇ Needs someone to be her anchor whenever she is concentrated in connecting to the void, other worlds, or whenever she is attempting to summon the rain because she becomes semi-possessed looking and may have a tough time returning to normal.
☇ Spiritual character shenanigans because Nike has the power to switch to spirit mode! Which, only characters with abilities to sense/see/communicate with spirits will be able to notice her.
☇ Someone to help her train her new powers! Guardian Spirit offers new abilities that she only got to use against her will while being possessed by an evil spirit oops.
☇ Other musical enthusiasts, foodies, characters to have platonic crushes on, found family, characters who can get under her skin and can get Nike to scream and tsun, someone to hug and be touchy with, and everything and anything will be greatly appreciated.

Canon: Digimon Adventure: Last Evolution Kizuna, which is a movie sequel to the original Digimon Adventure series....Ken is from the second season of that. So this movie shows us what he's like eight years after his show. He's a college freshman, my boy's gotten so big.
Cabin and team: 3:D, Orange team!

Little bit about them: Ken is a Soft but Determined Justice Boi who's finally gained some distance from eleven straight years of tragic backstory. He used to be a villain and committed crimes against common decency and fashion, but now he is able to unwind when he and his talking, transforming bug buddy Wormmon aren't needed to Fight Bad Guys.

He's still a super-serious overthinker who tends to put others before himself. Ken's been an old soul since the day he was born - aside from soccer, he has really....antiquated....hobbies. But overall he is an awkward but wholesome young man! Who is constantly wearing a giant larva as a hat! Don't worry about it.

Hopes and dreams:
- I'M FINALLY PLAYING SOMEONE WHO WILL DO THE MISSIONS. So I want to do missions.
- Ken will also be very curious why he in particular was summoned to the train (though his canon is a multidimensional jamjar so worldhopping won't phase him).
- He may be unsure at first how to work with a new team, since he's gotten quite comfortable with the group he's in back home.
- LET'S SOLVE MYSTERIES
- Let's also chill and be dorks. Or saps. Ken is such a sap.
- Ken is a more resilient person now but he has a temper re: things like "villains" and "trolling". Those of you with the inclination, I offer you one (1) good boy.
- Ken is always growing and learning and maturing! I am interested in watching him continue that process.

About you: Hi I’m Silas, my pronouns are she/her, I’m in CST. Sometimes I forget plurk exists, so I’m not always the most active over there. I’m currently undergoing training to become a flight instructor, so my tagging schedule is sometimes weird, though I try my best to do tags in the evening, since that’s when I’m usually the least busy.

Character: Akemi Homura
Canon: Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Cabin and team: She’s in Sleeper 5, Cabin D and Blue Team

Little bit about them: Homura’s a little cold and distant, but don’t worry, that’s just the trauma from reliving the past month and a half over and over for 12 and a half years. She’s a magical girl, and her magical ability is time magic, meaning she can stop time. She’s also proficient in guns. Not like, magical guns, but real guns. Also rocket launchers, machine guns, grenades, pipe bombs… A couple guns and grenades might have shown up on the train with her.

In reality, she’s just a 14 year old girl who has placed a heavy burden on her own shoulders and is trying to deal with it as best she can. She continually watches her friends (and more importantly, Madoka) die over and over again, and though she tries very hard, she’s powerless to stop it. So, yeah. She’s a little cold, a little intense, and a little distant. But hopefully she’ll warm up, now that she’s not in a constant time loop.

Hopes and dreams: Homura’s MO in canon is very… “I won’t rely on anyone anymore.” And so, in game, I would really like for her to learn that relying on others is actually okay! Also I just would like for her to just make friends? Especially those who don’t die within a month of meeting her. I know that’s a high bar that might be impossible to reach, but I still want to try!!

Homura can also stop time, which I think would be fun for Shenanigans, but that also means she’s pretty knowledgeable about magical things in general, so throw some of your magical characters my way! She’s also a weapons expert, so if there are any Concerned Adults or even other weapons experts, let’s do some things! I don’t know! Anything and everything! This is my first time back to dwrp in 3 years, so I want to do as much as I can!

Little bit about them: Alexis Rhodes is normally a sweet, kind girl with a bit of a sarcastic streak but is always willing to put herself on the line for her friends, living at a boarding school for eSport .

Right now, due to a variety of circumstances, she's an angry, bitter, kind of very sadistic, literal catgirl (unlike Yu-Gi-Oh!'s other, more ambiguous catgirls) with a chip on her shoulder and ice powers that she will gladly use to put the hurt on dweebs who even mildly piss her off. She's like this for a lot of reasons, primarily being that up until very recently, she was brainwashed by the big bad of the second season, and was also kidnapped to a remote island by a kooky tanuki to turn it into a developed resort for anthropomorphic animals, becoming a catgirl in the process. She may have also been jilted by her girlfriend when she decided to go home but Alexis didn't. The fact that she's uncertain whether she's really the original Alexis Rhodes or a brainclone made by Sartorius to mess with Jaden really doesn't help her attitude problems.

Please steer clear of her for your own safety. Or not, since she really needs friends although she'll never admit it.
Hopes and dreams: PLEASE, FRIENDS. As previously mentioned, Alexis is a horrible, terrible mess in basically every way right now and somebody willing to help her out (or even relate on some level) would be greatly appreciated. She is also the actual literal mirror reflection of a girl , and has a LOT (a lot) of personal issues surrounding having her own unique identity, so she's also going to be pissed that the train calls her "Tulip's Reflection" even though she hasn't actually come up with a different name yet.

Overall she's a good girl but very standoffish, doesn't like to compromise but especially on her morals, which are very big on personal freedoms.
Hopes and dreams: I expect a lot of negative CR, but also she's like 13 don't go too hard on her. It'd also be nice if she made a friend because that's the only way she's ever going to eventually get over her issues.

Little bit about them: The important points about Meng Yao are that he was born in a brothel where he lived with his mother. She prepared him to be a Cultivator as best as she could, hoping he would be acknowledged by his father. Jin Guangshan - said father - refused to acknowledge either of them because Meng Yao's mother was literate. Then, when Meng Yao approached Jin Guangshan after Meng Shi's death, he was tossed down a long flight of stone steps for interrupting Guangshan's true son's/heir's birthday party.

Once he healed from that atrocity, he slowly worked his way into the Nie clan's good graces and that is how he came to arrive at the Cloud Recesses - where he first met the love of his lifeLan Xichen.
Hopes and dreams: This boy needs a lot of healing. He hasn't suffered as much as he will later in his canon, but he has a lot of sharp edges and bad ideas. Someone please accept him.

Little bit about them: He was the leader of his sect and clan until he qi deviated through various reasons but mostly his temper got Extremely Bad to the point he basically exploded then his head got cut off and please don't hate him if he kills two people responsible as soon as he sees them (Meng Yao who's just arriving too, and Xue Yang who did the head chopping) IT IS DESERVED. Don't mess with his little half brother Huaisang. Just don't.
Hopes and dreams: He desperately needs someone to help keep him calm so he doesn't explode again. But also he's going to be offering training sessions for blade work and martial arts (Huaisang, you don't have a choice, HE WILL PICK YOU UP EVERY MORNING ON THE WAY). I would love both positive and negative CR - he's a big snarly angry gorgeous bear but just wait until he takes his shirt off. XD
