Test Drive Meme 013
1. Post with your character. I’ve written out some prompts but feel free to make up your own, you have a whole train to play with!

Training Gym
Fight club have finally gotten a gym to train in. Train carriages make strange gyms, long narrow spaces. But this has mats, balance beams, climbing apparatus. Pads and training dummies for punching. It also has large blocks that look a little like what you might find in a children's play centre but can be used to make obstacle courses or provide cover in training exercises.
Set up a course, practice fighting or try and learn how to throw a punch! There are plenty who will help, people who take training super seriously and let's face it, people who want to ambush others from behind oversized foam blocks.
Games
For those for whom fighting is not an idea of fun, or those wanting more relaxation, the games carriage has a whole collection of different games. Board games, card games, dice games. There are many games about trains but they aren't the only type.
There are low tables in the carriage to set a game up on and plenty of beanbags and cushions to sit on. Grab a game, grab a friend or a complete stranger and get playing!
Water Maze
The latest mission has taken the voidtreckers to an underwater maze. They have been given wet suits, helmets and breathing apparatus- lightweight boxes that strap to their back, connect to their helmet and filter air from the water. A powerful and dangerous artifact has been stolen and the race is on to get it back before it is used for ill.
Team One
Plenty of monsters and foes have been sent to try and retrieve the item. Giant crabs, strange eels. Even people with fish tails and the ability to breathe underwater. All are dangerous foes and fighting underwater is difficult.
But team one are the vanguard, keeping the monster levels low to allow team two to push on through the maze.
Team Two
Hopefully team one will deal with the monsters, but the odd one might sneak through. Team two's main job is to solve the maze, because the thief is in the centre in order to perform his ritual.
It's a race against time, the maze is made of coral and walls of seaweed that are impossible to cut through. Solving it requires a quick mind and some determined swimming.
Team Three
For those not wishing to brave the water, or those whose skills lie more in helping others. The island where the artefact was stolen from needs help. The temple was ransacked and some of the islanders were injured. Help them fix their homes, put the temple back to rights, tend to the injured.
Cleaning the temple is a big job, but hopefully by the time the artefact has been retrieved it will be able to be restored to it's rightful place.

We need to build a tower. Each floor should have three bricks, and we change the way they're laid each time. Like this. [ Stack stack stack, she sets three bricks down nimbly, and habitually pats for his hand to show him how she's done it. ]
CATCHES!!! i was undecided but maybe pre-baixue so he's baby xxc
[ he's ... clearly never played anything like this before. xiao xingchen helps construct the tower as per instructed; he only stops here and there to make sure everything is nicely aligned and not about to topple over easily. ]

He fixes most of it, but that's part of the fun. ]
Nope! The tower's just the first part! The game is taking it apart again without making it collapse. If one of us pulls out a brick and it makes the tower fall, they've lost.
[ She hesitates once they're done building, bites her lip, and looks across at him. It's hard to tell that she's meeting his gaze directly, given her pupils, but. She's not gonna let that guy feel like he's right about a single solitary thing, no matter how nervous it makes her. So, eye contact. ] I'll let daozhang go first, and we'll take turns. Easy, right?
they're almost the same age too i'm so excited to see how they contrast even then ahhhh <3
Oh, that sounds considerably more difficult. [ he does not really understand the purpose of destroying what you build but who is he to judge? the world outside the mountain had it's charm, perhaps this is just another part of it. ]
It sounds easy enough, miss. [ he is uncertain where to take a block from without toppling the entire structure so he gently taps at one close to the top. it wobbles a little but nothing falls.
he places the block on the left, and then turns his attention to her. ] Did I do it correctly?

You can call me a-Qing, okay? [ what's 'miss'? Well, she's well-fed, clean, and her clothes are the same as anyone else's. With only that information to go on, she supposes it's a little more difficult to immediately assume her background. It's not like this cute, younger daozhang knows any better.
Part of her is deeply frustrated that he doesn't know her. But that part, petulant and small, is drowned underneath the part that leaps around, still to this moment excited that he can see, that he hasn't been tricked and misled and driven to harm. With all of those advantages, how can she be selfish?
Okay, well, maybe she can be a little selfish. She's still seeking him out, after all. A tug on his sleeve, and she grins. ]
I forgot to mention, you have to put your brick on the top of the tower.

...though to be fair, young as he is right now, he likes most people unless they're actively committing murder in front of him.
the tug on his sleeve has him smiling brightly. ] Oh, I see. You're meant to keep going - I thought you kept the pieces taken.
Let's see - [ he bites his lip in concentration as he carefully sets the wooden piece on top. he almost expects it to fall right away, even if it's just the first and he's careful. ] - your turn, A-Qing.

[ He's so willing to humour her that she wants to roll around on the floor to vent her... what, joy? Mild terror that he's just going along with it? What if someone unscrupulous started cosying up to him-- somewhere along the line, probably about one brick back, she's committed herself to keeping an eye on him. It can be payback. To his future self?
She'll tell herself that, even if instead of rolling around she just childishly keeps one hand on his sleeve. Her next brick is freed from near the centre, and she drops it carelessly beside his on the top. It's too early for it to wobble much. It'll be fine. ]
I joined with the last group a few weeks ago. If d- Xiao daozhang has any questions, you can definitely ask me- all the information is fresh in my mind, unlike the guys who've been around forever.

That is very kind of you, I cannot think of anything that requires particular refreshing but ah, any guidance would be appreciated. My world is very different from this one.
