Test Drive Meme 012
1. Post with your character. I’ve written out some prompts but feel free to make up your own, you have a whole train to play with!
2. Assume they have been around long enough for threads to jump right into the action!
3. Have much fun!
Happy testing!
Film Night
The newest carriage on the Voidtrecker Express is the long awaited cinema! It hosts many films and TV series. Perfect if passengers wish to waste an afternoon without worrying about being stolen from their worlds and hurtling through the void between worlds.
Dashing adventures, chair gripping horrors or adorable adventures of the Merry Little Voidtrain. There is something for everyone, though with only one screen arguments may be inevitable.
Fight Club
The gym carriage is definitely created more for ball games than sparring but that hasn't stopped the passengers adapting as best they can. There are homemade training dummies and plenty of people who use the space to work out and get ready for the next mission.
But there is also a cupboard full of every ball for almost every ball game there is, the two activities in one space may make for a little chaos.
Spar with people, play football. Create some mix of basketball and mixed martial arts. All training counts, right?
Jungle Heights
The latest mission has taken them to a vast jungle, where people live high in the trees. There has been an influx of tree dwelling creatures with sharp teeth, sharper claws and a love of destruction. To make things better the forest floor is not safe, damp and marshy many creatures lurk there ready to bite at ankles and it is home to a root, the sap of which burns.
Team One
Treetop fighting is an acquired skill and one the voidtreckers are having to learn quickly. Swing on vine ropes and tangle with monsters. Quick movement and quicker thinking is needed to take down the creatures in terrain they are naturals at traversing.
Team Two
People here live on platforms in the trees, with bridges and walkways connecting them. Fend off the creatures and chase them away from peoples homes. At least there is slightly solider ground beneath their feet, but they must be careful not to fall to the jungle floor beneath.
Team Three
Many of the people here are not fighters and they need help to get somewhere safer. It's a tough journey through the forest, especially when they leave the bridges and platforms of the village behind. Children may need carried and climbing from one tree to another is difficult even with sturdy branches to walk along.
They must be careful to stay in the trees, avoid getting too close to the forest floor but do not get too high, lest they attract the creatures.

He helped guide her to the seat next to the one he had been sitting in so that they could sit next to each other. If nothing else, it would be nice to have someone else to watch with. No one else had come in here.
"You're welcome." He gave a nod of his head, his slight bow. "I believe it is called 'Star Hunter'. About a detective world hopping and trying to solve a case. It has only just started."

This time, she was going to enjoy it. Cane resting against the seat in front, she burrowed into the seat and tucked her hoodie over her knees. She briefly considered keeping a hold of his sleeve, but decided against it. She wanted to snack, and getting chocolate all over a master cultivator's robe would probably cause some kind of offence.
"I'm A-Qing," she whispered, when there was a pause in the opening narration. "What do I call big brother?"
no subject
"Maiden A-Qing. I am Lan WangJi but you may call me 'big brother' if you prefer."
He wasn't going to ask her to call him by his title.
After a moment, he retrieved his snacks from the seat on the opposite side. Since he wasn't going to eat the candies, he held the bag towards her. "I do not eat sweets if you would like them."
no subject
Hmm. Probably not. More likely that he was just being nice.
How weird.
The name of the show flashed up on the screen, and she fixed her eyes to the corner before she could get drawn in-- and then froze at the sound of crinkling wrappers. "I would!" Her hand flitted from the arm of the seat, to his arm, and up to the bag. She was already rummaging to see how many she could palm alongside the one she was officially picking up... when she realised that him having a bag of sweets that he didn't eat was suspicious.
A test? She dropped the rest of the sweets, and pulled out just the one. "Thanks!"
no subject
No test. He didn't eat sweets, but if she didn't want many that was her choice. He nodded in response to her thanks. For the moment, he wouldn't reveal what he knew. He would let her enjoy the movie and WuXian had wanted him to see it as well.
"There is more if you want it."
dont underestimate how many icons i have of her putting sweets in her mouth
He'd nodded, and she felt bad for ignoring it, but...
"You're missing the start of the show," she muttered - it was safe, the heroine was talking, so it was pretty obvious - but went back for another three sweets all the same.
She had no idea what turning in your badge and gun meant, but it was probably bad.
I never will
Also yeah, maybe shouldn't give WuXian a lot of sugar. That might have been a bad idea. He was hyper enough as it was sometimes.
"So I am." WangJi turned back to watching the movie that had begun to play, leaving the back of sweets near enough that if she wanted more, she could take them before retrieving the bag with crunchy snacks. Those were certainly more appealing to him.
He wasn't going to say anything about knowing that she could actually see during the course of the movie. At least that was the intention.
