Test Drive Meme 012
1. Post with your character. I’ve written out some prompts but feel free to make up your own, you have a whole train to play with!
2. Assume they have been around long enough for threads to jump right into the action!
3. Have much fun!
Happy testing!
Film Night
The newest carriage on the Voidtrecker Express is the long awaited cinema! It hosts many films and TV series. Perfect if passengers wish to waste an afternoon without worrying about being stolen from their worlds and hurtling through the void between worlds.
Dashing adventures, chair gripping horrors or adorable adventures of the Merry Little Voidtrain. There is something for everyone, though with only one screen arguments may be inevitable.
Fight Club
The gym carriage is definitely created more for ball games than sparring but that hasn't stopped the passengers adapting as best they can. There are homemade training dummies and plenty of people who use the space to work out and get ready for the next mission.
But there is also a cupboard full of every ball for almost every ball game there is, the two activities in one space may make for a little chaos.
Spar with people, play football. Create some mix of basketball and mixed martial arts. All training counts, right?
Jungle Heights
The latest mission has taken them to a vast jungle, where people live high in the trees. There has been an influx of tree dwelling creatures with sharp teeth, sharper claws and a love of destruction. To make things better the forest floor is not safe, damp and marshy many creatures lurk there ready to bite at ankles and it is home to a root, the sap of which burns.
Team One
Treetop fighting is an acquired skill and one the voidtreckers are having to learn quickly. Swing on vine ropes and tangle with monsters. Quick movement and quicker thinking is needed to take down the creatures in terrain they are naturals at traversing.
Team Two
People here live on platforms in the trees, with bridges and walkways connecting them. Fend off the creatures and chase them away from peoples homes. At least there is slightly solider ground beneath their feet, but they must be careful not to fall to the jungle floor beneath.
Team Three
Many of the people here are not fighters and they need help to get somewhere safer. It's a tough journey through the forest, especially when they leave the bridges and platforms of the village behind. Children may need carried and climbing from one tree to another is difficult even with sturdy branches to walk along.
They must be careful to stay in the trees, avoid getting too close to the forest floor but do not get too high, lest they attract the creatures.

He plops down in one of the seats and then pats the one next to him loudly to get her to follow the sound.
no subject
Her teeth scrape as she grinds them together, but A-Qing obligingly takes her time 'finding' the seat in question.
And 'accidentally' trying to nail his foot with her cane as she leans to pat around for the sides of the chair. He's too fast for it to work, unless something in this place has changed him, but as far as she's concerned, even getting him to move would be a petty enough victory.

He can feign niceness for as long as it takes. He's going to make sure she is forced to endure the entire movie with him as a slow torment.
no subject
She tucks herself sideways into her seat and brings her legs up so she's curled facing him. She's not letting him out of her sight, and she can at least try and kick him if he tries anything weird. And she keeps a hold of her stick for as long as possible.
"So... what's the film called?"
no subject
"Now stay quiet while I explain the movie as it plays." Which is what he will do but it's going to be completely opposite of what is actually going on. How long can she endure Xue Yang's version of events?
no subject
She gets fifteen minutes into his terrible narration before she can't help but blurt, "That doesn't sound right."
And then, before he can interrupt, because he's been talking bullshit the whole time, "You said the main bug was an orphan, but she's killed her dad just now?"

Fuck you, she thinks, viciously. Just stop messing around and tell me who you are! Still trying to test me even now? Spitefully, she pulls a piece of chocolate from her hoodie pocket, and stuffs the whole thing in her mouth. If there's one thing she doesn't lack here, it's adults trying to feed her.

Ugh.
Because she's got a reputation to uphold. That's it. She rummages around in the pocket and pulls out another square of chocolate.
"It's not like you can't just watch it again," she mutters, holding it out, using the cane between them as a 'guide' to angle her arm.
no subject
"Why would I want to watch this again? It's not that interesting." His only interest is in harassing her and telling his own story around the one being shown. The one he has been telling is far more interesting then the one on the screen anyway.
im imagining his version as proud immortal insect way jsyk
She's not going to admit that his story is, in fact, superior, if a little grim for her tastes. She's pretty sure the actual film's some kind of romance that rich people write about to make themselves feel superior. Rich bugs? Eh, people are probably all the same whether they're humans or insects. She leans forward to pat his arm before he can look back at the screen.
"I don't mind the bit I missed. Keep going."
XD probably pretty close
At once point he pauses so he can stuff the piece of chocolate in his mouth and chews for a moment. He'll just pretend there is a pause in the action.

Back to the Fake Story. It'd be pretty good, but there's one guy that's still in the story that she can't stand! Why hasn't the protagonist just killed him already!
"I hope that guy gets castrated," she hisses, at just the wrong moment - he's suddenly eating rather than speaking, the swelling orchestra playing over the speakers has lulled, and there's definitely some huge romantic moment happening on the screen.
She sinks into her seat.

He wonders if he should reveal the fact that he knows the truth yet and really make her squirm. But he decides the time will present itself.
