Test Drive Meme 012
1. Post with your character. I’ve written out some prompts but feel free to make up your own, you have a whole train to play with!
2. Assume they have been around long enough for threads to jump right into the action!
3. Have much fun!
Happy testing!
Film Night
The newest carriage on the Voidtrecker Express is the long awaited cinema! It hosts many films and TV series. Perfect if passengers wish to waste an afternoon without worrying about being stolen from their worlds and hurtling through the void between worlds.
Dashing adventures, chair gripping horrors or adorable adventures of the Merry Little Voidtrain. There is something for everyone, though with only one screen arguments may be inevitable.
Fight Club
The gym carriage is definitely created more for ball games than sparring but that hasn't stopped the passengers adapting as best they can. There are homemade training dummies and plenty of people who use the space to work out and get ready for the next mission.
But there is also a cupboard full of every ball for almost every ball game there is, the two activities in one space may make for a little chaos.
Spar with people, play football. Create some mix of basketball and mixed martial arts. All training counts, right?
Jungle Heights
The latest mission has taken them to a vast jungle, where people live high in the trees. There has been an influx of tree dwelling creatures with sharp teeth, sharper claws and a love of destruction. To make things better the forest floor is not safe, damp and marshy many creatures lurk there ready to bite at ankles and it is home to a root, the sap of which burns.
Team One
Treetop fighting is an acquired skill and one the voidtreckers are having to learn quickly. Swing on vine ropes and tangle with monsters. Quick movement and quicker thinking is needed to take down the creatures in terrain they are naturals at traversing.
Team Two
People here live on platforms in the trees, with bridges and walkways connecting them. Fend off the creatures and chase them away from peoples homes. At least there is slightly solider ground beneath their feet, but they must be careful not to fall to the jungle floor beneath.
Team Three
Many of the people here are not fighters and they need help to get somewhere safer. It's a tough journey through the forest, especially when they leave the bridges and platforms of the village behind. Children may need carried and climbing from one tree to another is difficult even with sturdy branches to walk along.
They must be careful to stay in the trees, avoid getting too close to the forest floor but do not get too high, lest they attract the creatures.

Wait, he'd wanted to protect her? It was her fault he'd gotten himself possessed? Not good...
At least his voice was different, so she didn't have to pretend he was the same guy. ]
Ah, those monsters are attacking the village. We have to protect the people and their homes. We got split up from the others. [ Was that concise enough? She hoped so, because she had questions of her own to repeat. ] What happened to the other guy? Will he be okay?

What has that boy gotten us into this time...? [Muttered under his breath, Yue moved to the wooden rail surrounding the platform they stood upon and looked out at the creatures that would make them a meal should they catch them. What had Yukito gotten them involved in? If he could yell at him he would have. Unfortunately that was not an option.
He didn't look at the woman when he spoke next. He was watching the movements of the monsters.]
He is fine. He will return. But first he needs to be somewhere else. Where is safety here? Yukito is no warrior. This is not the place for him.
[And by extension, himself. Keeping his mortal, human half safe was of great importance to Yue. If Yukito died... They needed to be elsewhere.]
no subject
The key thing was, she didn't want to be here any more than he did. ]
There's a big hall in the tallest tree. That's where everyone rests. [ So the probability of at least one fighter being there was much higher, she hoped. She frowned. Okay, she wanted to get out of here, but she also... probably owed Yukito a favour, what with his looking after her and all. So she squared up. ] Mister, if you can fly and slay monsters, why haven't you been helping? Mister Yukito was, and he just had a stick.
no subject
He did not want me to. If you have an issue with my being here, take it up with him.
You have two choices now. Stay and die. Or allow me to take you to that tree and maybe you won't die. Yet.
no subject
You..! Obviously I'd like to be taken to the tree! [ At least she'd tried. And she definitely planned to take it up with Yukito! What a jerk! No wonder he didn't do this earlier. ]
no subject
Why are you so concerned with my other half?
[He held out his hand for her. If she wanted to go, she would have to come to him. She hadn't liked it the last time.]
no subject
[ She hesitated. Reaching out would clue him in that she could see his hand... But if she didn't, he'd just leave her, right? She didn't even know how to get down from the platform they were standing on..! A monster shrieked nearby, and she flinched.
Ugh! Fine!
She stepped forward and took his hand, hooking her other arm around his. ]
no subject
You will see him soon.
[Because he would be done once he had them somewhere that wasn't going to get them killed.
He wrapped his arm around her waist a second time and, just as before, he gave a strong flap of his wings and they rose into the air just as three monsters swarmed over the platform they had been standing on.
It didn't take him long at all to get them where they needed to be. There were more people here. Yue let the girl go and gently glided away from her a few feet. Once at a safe enough distance his wings folded around himself. There was no goodbye, no farewell, Yue was there one moment and in a flash of bright light he was gone. And Yukito stood in his place, looking a little more than tired.]
Oh dear...
[He sat down on his butt with a breathless laugh and looked around.]
We're safe now?
no subject
In the name of pride and self-preservation, respectively, she stomped both wolves down. Ran towards him with the momentum of her short fall, got ready to ask what the hell he meant by 'see him soon'--
And watched Yukito appear in front of her with no warning. Shit! ]
I think so.
no subject
He gave A-Qing a sheepish smile.]
I think I'll just sit here for a moment more, if you don't mind?
wrap probably? :>
[ She startled as his stomach growled loud enough for her to hear. It distracted her from the emotional whiplash of dealing with his... two halves? That was how he described it, right?
Her own stomach grumbled. It... really had been a while since they'd eaten, hadn't it? She wasn't used to that anymore, with all of the food just lying around on the train.
Given she really, really wanted to go somewhere private and just swear at nothing for a bit, she arranged a relieved-but-embarrassed smile onto her face. It was even mostly genuine! ]
I'll go and get us something to eat, okay? Wait here!
