Test Drive Meme 012
1. Post with your character. I’ve written out some prompts but feel free to make up your own, you have a whole train to play with!
2. Assume they have been around long enough for threads to jump right into the action!
3. Have much fun!
Happy testing!
Film Night
The newest carriage on the Voidtrecker Express is the long awaited cinema! It hosts many films and TV series. Perfect if passengers wish to waste an afternoon without worrying about being stolen from their worlds and hurtling through the void between worlds.
Dashing adventures, chair gripping horrors or adorable adventures of the Merry Little Voidtrain. There is something for everyone, though with only one screen arguments may be inevitable.
Fight Club
The gym carriage is definitely created more for ball games than sparring but that hasn't stopped the passengers adapting as best they can. There are homemade training dummies and plenty of people who use the space to work out and get ready for the next mission.
But there is also a cupboard full of every ball for almost every ball game there is, the two activities in one space may make for a little chaos.
Spar with people, play football. Create some mix of basketball and mixed martial arts. All training counts, right?
Jungle Heights
The latest mission has taken them to a vast jungle, where people live high in the trees. There has been an influx of tree dwelling creatures with sharp teeth, sharper claws and a love of destruction. To make things better the forest floor is not safe, damp and marshy many creatures lurk there ready to bite at ankles and it is home to a root, the sap of which burns.
Team One
Treetop fighting is an acquired skill and one the voidtreckers are having to learn quickly. Swing on vine ropes and tangle with monsters. Quick movement and quicker thinking is needed to take down the creatures in terrain they are naturals at traversing.
Team Two
People here live on platforms in the trees, with bridges and walkways connecting them. Fend off the creatures and chase them away from peoples homes. At least there is slightly solider ground beneath their feet, but they must be careful not to fall to the jungle floor beneath.
Team Three
Many of the people here are not fighters and they need help to get somewhere safer. It's a tough journey through the forest, especially when they leave the bridges and platforms of the village behind. Children may need carried and climbing from one tree to another is difficult even with sturdy branches to walk along.
They must be careful to stay in the trees, avoid getting too close to the forest floor but do not get too high, lest they attract the creatures.
B because kitty! Also uh. Not serious on apping.
Hm? Someone's cat? Is your owner somewhere nearby? I'd guess so, at least. If they brought you on this train with them.
[At least, she initially assumes it is a pet? Probably? She can't immediately tell if the cat has a collar or not. But she seems fearless enough from scratches in cautiously reaching to pet the cat.]
Must be pretty restricting for you, being cooped up on this train.
Re: B because kitty! Also uh. Not serious on apping.
"MARINETTE?!" the cat asked, startled, recognizing the voice even before he saw her. He spun to face her. Then he launched himself at her and started rubbing his face against hers. "It's me, Spark! I haven't seen Adrien or Nino or Alya or the Doctor here yet. I smelled Rose but I couldn't find her!" he said in a rush before snuggling up against him again. Marinette was here. Maybe Adrien would show up too! And all the others!
He was so happy she was there he wasn't even asking about fish!

[Marinette starts when.....the cat...talks? And launches at her like that. It's all but enough to almost have her fall backwards. As it is she steps backwards against the seating as she instinctively reaches to try catch the cat launching at her like that. Her blue eyes widen in surprise.]
You can talk? Spark.....? Rose is here?
[Of course, she is thinking of the Rose from her class. Possibly not the same Rose Spark is talking about. Somehow even with dealing with Tikki, this is....a lot....?]

[She can't help feeling bad though? The way he seems to wilt in upset. She's not sure why she should remember him but she doubts she would forget something like a talking cat! It has Marinette frowning and her lips pout slightly in confusion and upset at this.]

[Marinette blinks, tilting her head slightly, even as she gives a confused, apologetic and sheepish look. She's pretty sure she should remember meeting a talking cat. So Marinette is as stumped and confused about this as the cat is. Unfortunately. But she does keep hold of him at least, even as she gives a sigh.]
I don't think so. No. I'm pretty sure I'd remember a talking cat?

[She wants to apologize for not remembering but. At least it seems like he understands that isn't in her control. Not that that makes this any better, makes her feel less bad about not remembering him but still. She purses her lips briefly before trying for a small smile, instinctively petting him in some attempt at reassurance.]

[She might be less sure if Spark is aware of her identity as Ladybug, but. Well even the citizens of Paris were well aware of Papillon and the akuma. So Marinette agreeing there wouldn't raise suspicions or anything at least. So she figures, as she smiles slightly when he snuggles into the pets. She straightens then and proceeds to keep going in her explorations of the train carriages.]

[This seems like a lot. If he's saying he hasn't seen Ladybug, did that mean Spark doesn't know she is Ladybug? Probably? Marinette bites at her lower lip as she continues, walking through the carriage and glancing around in getting an idea on what each carriage had available and all at least.]

[Marinette gives a shrug again. Of course she's less sure on actually revealing herself. Unsure if Chat Noir had done so. Both curious and knowing she shouldn't ask. She shouldn't know. Can't know. And well, if Spark calls her out on being Ladybug, then she knows she can trust him at least. She's pretty sure she doesn't remember a Pirate like that though.....]

He's such a liar.
no subject
[And well. All of Paris it seems knows of her and Chat Noir. So that seems safe enough to admit. Plus there really had been instances where he had rescued her, not realizing he was also protecting Ladybug by extension. So she had met Chat Noir. As Ladybug and as Marinette. That wasn't a lie.]

[Or fairy, in some stories maybe? She's admittedly possibly curious and confused at that. But she keeps trying to progress. Trying to not get distracted as she walks through the carriages in exploring more. Holding to Spark in her arms.]
Fish, huh? I guess I could try find some. Ah, I'm not even sure I have any money on me though.

[Well. She doesn't want to take someone else's food. Not without having something in exchange at least. And she doesn't exactly have much if anything on her. That and she doubts that the cat does either.]
no subject
Yes, yes it can.
no subject
I don't know....I mean. I guess we can try, if we find some. If someone has some fish but. Depending on where this train goes exactly it might not be that near the ocean. There might be a dining cart though.....? If we keep going?
[She's still figuring the train's layout with the different carriages and such yet.]

Want to guess that Adrien, knowing his audience, used far more fish than rice?
no subject
[And well. The idea of Adrien making her food is also nice. To daydream about. Of course Spark liked his sushi. Adrien made it after all.....he could probably make almost anything and Marinette would at least try it. If not adore it because it was him that made it. She might just be a little zoned out as she daydreams a little in the middle of her walking in exploring the train.]
