Crisis On… A Ship!

The train has a game carriage and the VR video games are always popular. A good way to relive boredom as well as teaching some good skills.

Crisis on...This game can be played with two to four players. It is essentially a crisis simulator mixed with an escape room. You can chose the scenario (the bridge of a space ship, a camp in a jungle, a high rise building, a sailing ship etc) and you are thrown into the middle of a crisis of some kind. Teamwork and a cool head are important as is using the surroundings wisely.

Ahoy there! You and your small crew are on board a sailing ship in the middle of an ocean. But you are being chased by an enemy ship and there’s a storm brewing! There are many roles for you to chose from and different puzzles and problems to be solved. Batten down the hatches, flee the enemy ships and if necessary man the canons! Bring yourselves and your crew to harbour safely.

Dressing up

The upcoming mission is one in space and the void treckers have been told to blend in. The dressing room has been opened and what awaits them looks like it walked out of a old science fiction film. Shoulder pads, metalic colours. Everything over the top, ridiculous and not practical at all.

Yet the mission brief said to fit in. So swallow your pride and try and find outfits that aren’t too ridiculous. Or go all out and make the most of it, it’s not every day you can wear elaborate outfits after all.

Space Battle

As perhaps the outfits had suggested this world is an odd one, the outfits given to the voidtreckers make them some of the most subtle dressed people in the space city. Big, bold and loud. But the crisis is clear, an enemy force attacking this city filled with non combatants and children.

Team One

Space fighting time! The space ships are designed for two so voidtreckers will need a partner. There’s not much time to train so it will be mostly learning on the job, but it’s fine. The voidtreckers job is mostly to make up numbers, to split the enemy’s focus whilst those that know how to pilot go in to defeat the enemy.

Team Two

The problem with space battles is, there are a lot of injuries and a lot of damaged space ships. The space city is not one that has a large military so damaged ships need to be fixed as quickly as possible.

Help out the engineers. It might be the voidtreckers know a little about repairing ships themselves but even if they don’t, extra pairs of hands are always useful.

Team Three

This city is loud, bustling and full of life. But with the battle raging outside everyone needs to stay safe. Help people get to shelters. Clear the streets and begin the evacuation, though hopefully a full evacuation won’t be needed.

Space Disco

Enemies vanquished, this city does what it apparantly does best. That is, party. The music is way too loud, different songs out of each building, people dance in the streets, lights flash far too fast. There is strange street food to try, new dances to learn and a victory to celebrate.

"Yeah, only one left," Quatre said picking up the last sandwich option. He held it up. "Cheers." Since Trowa was no longer holding a plate with other sandwiches. And then he took a bite. And paused. "What do you make of this one?" He couldn't tell if he liked it or not.

Trowa also took a bite, pausing to consider the flavor. "Not the best, but better than that pickled one."

"That is true. Definitely better than that one." Quatre smiled. "That was fun, trying what another world considers a sandwich. What shall we do now?"

Hearing the music switch to something a little slower, Trowa took a deep breath and smiled. "May I have this dance?"

Quatre glanced up hearing the change in the music and then smiled when Trowa asked him if he wanted to dance. "I would love to." And he held out his hand so they could take hands.

Taking Quatre by the hand, Trowa led him to the edge of the dance floor. He pulled the blond close, moving one hand to Quatre's waist.

Quatre smiled as he followed Trowa out onto the dance floor, holding onto his hand tightly. As he looped his arm around him, Quatre stepped closer, that soft smile still on his face as he danced with Trowa at the alien dance.

Trowa's heart was pounding in his chest, having Quatre so close felt like a dream. The hand still holding Quatre's gave a light squeeze as he pulled the blond snugly against him.

It was very exciting and Quatre felt his heart skip a beat as Trowa pulled him just a little bit closer. He was so close to him. It was a place he wasn't very often, but it was nice when he was. After a moment, he tucked his head more against Trowa's shoulder.

As Quatre's head rested against his shoulder, Trowa couldn't help feeling completely giddy. He let his cheek rest against blond hair as they swayed to the music. This was like a dream come true, and he couldn't stop smiling.

Quatre was smiling too, but like he couldn't see Trowa's smile, Trowa couldn't see his either. Funny how it had taken a rave on an alien planet to get even this close. It was not something that he had ever really expected. He had so many responsibilities back home.

Slowly, Trowa released Quatre's hand to wrap his other arm around the blond. He was sure his heart was racing, but he didn't care. "This is nice."

Quatre felt like his heart was racing as well. At least, butterflies in the stomach. "This is. Thank you for asking me."

"Thank you for saying yes." Trowa was sure he was blushing madly, he could feel the heat in his cheeks. Thankfully the lights were low. "I think I'm finding more and more to enjoy about peace times." His words were just above a whisper, almost like he hadn't intended them to be spoken.

Quatre didn't see the blush since his head was still on Trowa's shoulder. To be honest, he was blushing as well. This was nice, so very nice. Also the low lights made it easy to not spot each other bluhsing.

"I think I am as well. And not having as much to do."

"Not having much to do now and then is good." Maybe it was the hormones talking, since he was still a teenager, or maybe it was the mood of the party, but Trowa kind of wanted to kiss Quatre. He just...needed to find his courage, first.

"It is. I wish it could happen more often. Business never sleeps, unfortunately." And neither does he sometimes. He stepped back a little so that he would be able to see Trowa's face again, but he didn't move completely away.

Those eyes were going to get him in trouble. Ocean blue and catching the low lights just right, Trowa's resolve crumbled. He'd never kissed anyone before, only occasionally caught glimpses of other couples doing it. But he was willing to try. Closing the distance, he pressed his lips to Quatre's.

Trowa's eyes were likely to get Quatre in trouble at some point too. But at the moment, he was curious as Trowa moved closer only for... oh! Trowa was kissing him. He was surprised, but a good surprised and after a moment, he kissed back.

Trowa was almost positive his heart stopped as Quatre kissed him back. He might have made a soft noise of happiness as he did his best to deepen the kiss. He had no idea what he was doing, but it felt so wonderful.

Quatre didn't know what he was doing either to be fair. What did one do when they were kissed for the first time? What did you do with your hands? After a moment of no knowing what to do, he brought his arms up to put them on Trowa's arms. It felt wonderful kissing him, but that thought had just randomly crossed his mind.

A small, happy noise escaped Trowa's throat as warm hands rested on his arms. After a few moments, he finally broke the kiss to look down at Quatre. He couldn't stop smiling, even with color running high on his cheeks.

Quatre was smiling too. He couldn't stop himself. He'd always liked Trowa and to know the other liked him as well in that way.

"That was nice."

Trowa's hand came up to softly cup Quatre's cheek. "It really was. I've never...that was..." He'd never kissed anyone before, but he was blushing too much to get the words out.

"I never have either. Well, aside from family members, but that's completely different." Quatre wasn't concerned at all. There had to be a first time for everything, right? Even kissing.
