IC Common Knowledge and Rumours

I figure we could use a post like this, given it's an enclosed train and people will gossip. I hope I don't step on any toes.

Basically, this is a 'what can be assumed people know? What rumours are floating around?' post.

I don't mean personal things (unless you want), but the basic/semi-basic stuff.

This encompasses the train (random wild theories!), passengers (AKA who has a stick up the but, who are the kids), day to day life on the train (who doesn't like certain foods, who uses all the hot water, who hermits in [train car], Rumour has it Princess knows empty laps).

Basically, that kind of thing.

Headers are provided to keep things organised.

Nita's spells work on the train - which, on the more mundane side of things, means she can soundproof areas! Or otherwise trace out and run diagrams.

Still can't talk to the train, though. Sadness. :(

Edit: Also, people are welcome to have their characters be confused about this, particularly if their characters wouldn't be surprised by the idea of a sentient spell.

Joss wonders where the blood in the fridge that is mysteriously replenished daily comes from. Part of him wonders if the (human) people on the train have their blood taken every night, while they’re all asleep.

None of the elves sleep, although they will occasionally nap (with eyes wide open).

Snake in the quiet car.

Rumor has it there's a giant snake trapped in one of the quiet rooms. Sometimes, if the snake feels like being seen, you can see it squirming around in there if you look through the window. Other times there's a paper taped to the window, covering it, that says GIANT SNAKE: DO NOT ENTER. It doesn't seem to hold normal office hours. No one knows where the snake goes when it's not in the room.

There's something stinky in the movie theatre.

Ferdinand has been laying his eggs under the seats of the theatre. If they aren't found timely, they start to smell. Bad.

Ruler of the greenhouse.

Ferdinand has pretty much made the greenhouse his home. There is a burrow in Crowley's plot, a mound of dirt and mulch and mud not unlike a doghouse. He hides in there pretty often, and might be seen lurking about. Luckily, his excrement makes excellent fertilizer.
