IC Month

This month is the month of Egret. Days can be found here.

The thought of the month is Great things never came from comfort zones

The challenge is: Tagging into other peoples top levels or posts will earn you two bonus points. Two bonus points will be awarded for each thread that you tag into during March and April.

Threads that fulfill this criterial can be submitted during April AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC!

Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom and characters are welcome to make other food with them.

This month's chore assignments are:

Blue: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Purple: Meal Preparation
Red: Laundry
Orange: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms

The Train.

As the month moves onto the month of Egret the train will stop to pick up new passengers. When everyone rejoins the train they will find a new carriage!

Carriage G: Greenhouse

Like the garden carriage the walls and ceiling are made of a transparent material. The ceiling is a dome shape, a single metal beam runs from one end to another, mounted on this beam are large bright lights.

The aisle of grass runs down the middle, from one door to the next. Stone paths branch off around raised beds of soil. Nothing is growing yet but there are crates in which passengers can find a whole host of seeds and bulbs for various flowers.

This has been updated on the setting.

The shop has been updated to add energy drinks, for passengers over sixteen. Points have been updated on the passenger roster.

If your character does anything to alter the setting please let me know!

Important Dates

This month's event will be a mission event between 13th and 26th March. An info and plotting post will go up on 9th March.

Reserves will open 17th March with a TDM on the 15th March. Apps are between 20th and 27th March. AC will run 23rd to 30th March.

New players may find it useful to read the arrival information if they haven’t already!

47 | Hitman

Character: 47
About them: HITMAN. A quiet assassin who pretends to be fairly normal while on the train and tries not to garner too much attention. He prepares his own meals despite the chore assignments but still does his team's chores. He checks on the garden boxes daily despite it being mostly unnecessary at this point. Very mission orientated, has a fairly set daily schedule he keeps to.
Plans: Not until I saw that Greenhouse did I have plans. I'm excited for it!! 47 will be organizing a section of the greenhouse for edible plants to keep them separate and easy to find. The rest (flowers and such) he'll tend once up but won't hard organize, promise. lol. He will probably re-plant some of the garden boxes with the new flower seeds so each of the carriages will still have garden boxes but now all edibles will be in the greenhouse instead of the rock garden, yay.
CR wanted: Obligatory anything here! He needs a push or two for conversation and repeated interactions. He won't call you a friend but he could essentially use some friends. He's cool with anyone on Red team so far. Uh, he needs to meet more of and be befriended by the ever-growing gardening crew.
Things to avoid: Not really anything here.

Quiet garden buddies are the best kind. He won't talk unless spoken to but he's a great listener... haha! ...hah. Let's not talk about why. Ahem.

I may need a making the rounds log one day. :|a He needs to be pestered by meet more people.

Sarai and 47 have quiet gardening times together. If he actually mentioned wanting to get Lightning roses, she'd actually try to requisition some Azeyma rose seeds from the train...

Yes, definitely!!! I like that they have this thing to connect them. :D Also that would be great...please do this for him, Sarai, it would be neat to see foreign roses on the train. In their cabin. Next to the flowers from Ice Weather Machine planet. :3

Garrett | Thief

Character: Garrett.
About them: Thief. A master sneak thief who was previously in Ryslig and there changed into a humanoid arachne type monster. If you don't like scorpions or spiders let me know to avoid descriptions of his extra bits. o7
Plans: Not too much of anything. Maybe start handing out arrows to the archers since they seem to be in demand?? He makes his own with supplies picked up from missions. Willing and able to make basic "trick" arrows, including new ones if people ask for them with explanations or not depending on how complicated it is. Otherwise, he won't be busy until next mission pleasedontbeawaterworld in which I'm thinking of throwing up a material request PSA on the train's ICP just before departure. Basically, he'll ask what he can pick up from the planet that anyone wants while they're doing the missions. Heh.
CR wanted: Anything here. He needs people to prod him into being a people person, as he's about as shy as Kumoko just minus the anxiety. (He does surprisingly well on the ICP stuff though, Ryslig helped with that.) Especially wanted would be fellow archers, thieves, and self-proclaimed Team Black members.
Things to avoid: Not anything here.

Piccolo | DBZ/Super

Character: Piccolo
About them: DBZ/Super. Big green humanoid not!demon alien guy who likes to meditate and spar, like, a lot.
Plans: Not particularly. He participates in the daily Fight Club gym carriage training and sparring sessions pretty much every day. If he's not there, he's meditating somewhere more quiet like the rock garden or a coveted quiet room. Currently he's still offering to create weapons for practicing/training efforts. (And by create I mean magically poof it out of thin air like a green, grumpy Santa Claus without a bag of holding.)
CR wanted: All the CR. Piccolo is especially a magnet for small children or child-like annoyances that he can grump at but ultimately befriend and protect fiercely. Also covets sparring partners and is willing to train martial arts and ki manipulation techniques.
Things to avoid: Nooot anything here either!

I'm interested in more interactions with all of your guys here. I haven't met Piccolo yet but they should cross paths since Tony is often in the gym too. Hattori knows kendo so he'd be interested in sparring and learning from the man too. Prompto will probably be afraid of Garrett initially since he looks a little like some of the demons he's seen. So, Garrett might find that amusing.

Ahh, awesome!! I'd love to get more of yours as well! Iii have zero ideas how Piccolo and Tony interactions would go down so that sounds interesting. As for Hattori, Piccolo will probably like him insomuch as he might remind him of a few of the Z Warriors--also he'd be more than willing to teach him. That sounds good. Hope Hattori is prepared for hard work and discipline. XD Is Prompto the blond with a camera?? lol. I need to play that Final Fantasy, I don't know it well enough. Garrett will be...either annoyed or amused, tis true. Probably amused since if Prompto is the one I think. :'D

Hattori will love that! His father is the chief of police in his area so he's used to a disciplinarian in his life.

Oooooo I forgot about that! All I remember is...he's kinda loud mouthed and eager sometimes, right?? I need to rewatch some Conan and Magic Kaito.

^_^ Yeah! I was really into it there for a while. I watched all of MC and a decent bit of DC, but boy is that series long. I can't believe it's still going after all this time! Garrett met a Kaito in Ryslig and I think that's about when I watched it. So... a few years ago? So my memory is sadly fuzzy but I still like it.
