IC Month

This month is the month of Egret. Days can be found here.

The thought of the month is Great things never came from comfort zones

The challenge is: Tagging into other peoples top levels or posts will earn you two bonus points. Two bonus points will be awarded for each thread that you tag into during March and April.

Threads that fulfill this criterial can be submitted during April AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC!

Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom and characters are welcome to make other food with them.

This month's chore assignments are:

Blue: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Purple: Meal Preparation
Red: Laundry
Orange: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms

The Train.

As the month moves onto the month of Egret the train will stop to pick up new passengers. When everyone rejoins the train they will find a new carriage!

Carriage G: Greenhouse

Like the garden carriage the walls and ceiling are made of a transparent material. The ceiling is a dome shape, a single metal beam runs from one end to another, mounted on this beam are large bright lights.

The aisle of grass runs down the middle, from one door to the next. Stone paths branch off around raised beds of soil. Nothing is growing yet but there are crates in which passengers can find a whole host of seeds and bulbs for various flowers.

This has been updated on the setting.

The shop has been updated to add energy drinks, for passengers over sixteen. Points have been updated on the passenger roster.

If your character does anything to alter the setting please let me know!

Important Dates

This month's event will be a mission event between 13th and 26th March. An info and plotting post will go up on 9th March.

Reserves will open 17th March with a TDM on the 15th March. Apps are between 20th and 27th March. AC will run 23rd to 30th March.

New players may find it useful to read the arrival information if they haven’t already!

Character: Conan Edogawa (Shinichi Kudo)
About them: Detective Conan. High school detective who was poisoned and turned into a child. Probably holds the train record for longest time holding on to a secret identity. Also probably still smallest child on train.
Plans: Avoiding all those people who saw more in his dreams than he would have liked. Recently rejoined insomnia club. Finding something,anything to occupy his mind.
CR wanted: Everything! Especially looking for kids to be friends with, concerned adults, and people to argue with.

Character: Danny Fenton
About them: Danny Phantom. Snarky teenage superhero with ghost powers.
Plans: ....He's going to point his telescope at the void to see what happens. Also someone told him there were ghost wards on the train,and I kind of want to have him forget where they are and run into them.
CR wanted: All the ghost related people. Also other superheroes.

Character: Will Stanton
About them: Dark is Rising Sequence. Quiet and thoughtful wizard kid. ...Who isn't actually very good at being a kid at the moment.
Plans: Will was very troubled by the dreams last month, but he's not entirely sure what to do about it. Plans for this month are to continue having him process that, and maybe find some ways to distract him.
CR wanted: He really needs some CR to remind him that he's still a kid and is allowed to have fun. So all the kids. Also anyone interested in talking about magic and time travel. And anyone who attacked the train wall. Will had a vision of that, but he hasn't actually met many of the people he saw in person.

oh no there's a club for insomnia? there's a club for everything.

But yeah. This weirdo is probably lurking in places at night because he's not keen on the whole situation.

Its mostly a joke. But there is a group of characters that will show up for insomnia posts.

I am so hoping for Conan and Kaiba to become not-friends. They can meet up and complain about train and magic nonsense.

He's in that group now. Might do a post of his own if no one else does first, lol

Well I mean we already have constant poker tournaments Kaito is quite happy to play with Will instead for a change?

I keep thinking Will and Taiki would get on quite well. Taiki is a bit older than Will but is also an odd-ball red team member so throwing them together could be fun!

I'm mostly canon blind on Taiki, but I say go for it! Will could use more friends.

Basically when he was ten Taiki was spirited away to another world (the world he is technically from) and told he wasn't human at all and existed to fulfil a duty and serve a higher purpose. Things go a bit sideways after that but they have enough thematic beats in common that they will probably be interesting to throw together.
