Test Drive Meme 002
1. Post with your character. I’ve written out some prompts but feel free to make up your own, you have a whole train to play with!
2. Assume they have been around long enough for threads to jump right into the action!
3. Have much fun!
Happy testing!
Luggage Handling
The last carriage of the train is full of luggage. It’s all empty but there sure is a lot of it. Suitcases, old fashioned travelling trunks, rucksacks. And they are scattered everywhere, a safety concern to be sure.
Or perhaps the most fun place on the train, if you are thinking about it right. These cases could be anything, a fort, a bunker. How many can you stack up until they are too high to reach or they tumble down on top of you?
Let out your inner child and relieve some of the boredom of being stuck on a train by creating the luggage castle of your dreams, or step in before disaster strikes and attempt to bring some organisation to this chaos.
Scavenger Hunt
You’ve found yourself on a world that seems to be one huge scrap yard. At least all the parts you can see are and you aren’t the only ones there. A small fighter craft has crash landed here and the pilot needs help fixing their craft to get out of here!
Team One The parts needed must be around here somewhere! This place has all sorts and so it’s just a matter of trying to sort through all the junk to find what you are looking for.
Team Two Some parts from the actual ship are salvageable but it’s going to take a team to get this thing sky worthy again. Fix what can be fixed and get the craft ready for the spare parts that will hopefully be found.
Team Three This planet is not without its nuisances. Most prominent are some strange cyborg rats that have a taste for wiring. Fend them off before they get into the craft and render all the hard work undone.
A picnic with a view
Heroes deserve rewards every now and again and after a few days of protecting a settlement from strange shape shifting alien blobs there is a moment to relax before boarding the train once more.
What a place to relax in. High up on a cliff overlooking a vast plain of crystal stalagmites. The light of two suns reflects of them creating a dazzling prism mirror effect of colour, it’s almost like hovering above a sea of rainbows.
A picnic has been provided by some grateful villagers, the food is strange but delicious and a perfect way to unwind after a stressful few days.

"..........What." Caranthir says flatly, and then yanks. "Come here, we're going to wash that out and you're going to actually make sense for once."
no subject
He winces, but stands, hurriedly tucking the harp under his free arm. "It makes perfect sense. We just didn't think of it at the time." Which sums up quite a few things, doesn't it?
no subject
"............................I am clearly not going to like this explanation at all, so you are going to shut up until I can bandage that hand."
DRAGGING
no subject
"You don't like any explanation."
no subject
"Also what is wrong with you, you look terrible."
no subject
Then frowns and glances down at the hoodie and pants he'd been given when his normal threadbare clothes were taken.
"What's wrong with the clothes? I think they are rather comfortable."
Completely ignoring the fact he's clearly not been eating properly for years or the fact that there's a hint of silver to his hair. And a general thinness to his very being.
no subject
"You... what kind of idiot are you!" He hisses. "You do this to me on purpose! Look at yourself! You look terrible! And what the hell are you wearing!"
no subject
But he can at least defend himself from the latter. "My clothes were taken away on the platform, replaced with these. I don't mind too much." At least they're warm, the impression from his mind to his brother's adds.
no subject
What the hell is at least they're warm what have you been doing that you weren't in warm clothes where the hell is NelyO!!!!!
no subject
"In the end, only Nelyo and I were alive to get the Silmarils. They burned us. Nelyo...fell. Into lava." His voice is oddly stilted and lifeless, shoulders hunched and right hand crawls into a pocket. "I threw mine into the sea. Hopefully Ulmo took it, but it's out of my hands now."
Alone, Echos hollowly between their minds.
no subject
Long stare.
FACEPALM.
"Nelyo fell. Into. LAVA. Come here you idiot."
Ugh hugs.
no subject
He blinks at Caranthir's order, but doesn't budge. Not that it saves him, of course, because that would be convenient, and he squeaks at the unexpected hug.
"Moryo?"
Because this brother almost never gives hugs. But also because of that fact, he'll eventually lean
collapseinto it. And maybe cling a little.no subject
"And why the fuck are you so thin."
no subject
"You really won't like that answer, Moryo." Maglor will just...keep holding on until Caranthir shoves him away.
no subject
"If I am not going to like it you'd better tell me now rather than lie to me and make me madder." He says flatly.
no subject
"It became harder and harder to remember to eat, after Doriath. It was better for a little while some years later, when Nelyo and I...were looking after some young prisoners. But once we sent them away, and once Nelyo..." He flinches and looks away.. "I'm sorry?"
no subject
"Idiots, the both of you. Fine. We're going to feed you." RIGHT. NOW.
no subject
Maglor eyes him speculatively. "There was food back where we came, Moryo." Forget about the want to bandage his hand up already? :D He can't deny the idiot comment.
no subject
no subject
no subject
"Good." He growls, marching over to the nearest food and shoving a plate at Maglor.
"Eat that." He orders. "I'm going to find bandages."
no subject
He sets his harp down to take the plate shoved at him, and reclaims the seat he'd been dragged from earlier. "I will try..." Which is really, sadly, the best he can promise.
no subject
no subject
And he'll be watching intently for the younger to come back in sight.
