Welcome to our Test Drive Meme! Here is the place to see how your character might fit the setting, grab some samples and start having fun!

Knight Quest

Upstairs in the games carriage there is a VR game set. There are enough headsets and controllers for four people to play. One of the games is Knight Quest!

A game that can either be played on single adventure mode or with the other three headsets in a campaign mode. It is a typical fantasy rpg about a young hero who is searching for a magical item to save the world. The story is simple but fun and engaging. The hero has a sword and shield and fighting in this game requires some physical skill, but practice makes perfect!

Games are a good way of gaining skills so team up and save the world, fighting monsters and practising fighting in a safe controlled environment! Just… Don’t bash into each other.

Making your own Fun

The standard coach doesn’t have all that much in it. Just rows of seats, though at the front of the carriage seats have been ripped up and bookshelves installed.

It’s a good place to read or write in their journals. Or annoy other passengers by climbing from one side of the carriage to the other without touching the floor.

Rehabilitation

The train has arrived at a collection of planets. That is good because your task is finding a place for the lindusi (large lizard creatures, recently rescued from a dying planet) to be settled and the more choices the better.

Team One

The first job is predominantly scouting. The scientists in charge of the lindusi relocation project have given the team a list of important features for a planet to have.

It’s like a scavenger hunt but for running water, certain types of plants, prey animals and other features. They have lent the void treckers some basic scientific equipment for testing the environment.

Team Two

Not all of these planets are going to be empty of hostile creatures. The second teams task is to accompany the first team and keep them safe. They have been given shielding devices, easy to use energy shields large enough to fit two people behind. They are handheld and a quick press of a button will activate the shield.

There are plenty of predators, from bears to strange flying aliens that want to eat you. Good luck!

Team Three

Once a suitable planet has been found the third team are to get the lindusi there. In shuttle ships. They aren’t too difficult to pilot, which is good because the lindusi relocation program is very short staffed.

Once they are safely landed it is a case of releasing them into the wild, in safe locations away from any immediate danger. The lindusi are still recovering from their trip through space after all.

Rehabilitation - Team Two

Najaran had joined team two, happy to protect others, but the shield they gave her... was not cutting it. Not in the least. After about fifteen minutes and three close calls, she got fed up. She threw the shield down in disgust and reached a hand behind her back. Several cards flew from a case there into her hand. "We need to protect these people, who better than KNIGHT?!" She threw a card into the air where is shattered. A huge living suit of armor at least three times her height appeared behind her from the broken card. She threw another one. "They're in the air but they should beware, THUNDERBEAK! A large winged creature, looking like skin stretched over a scifi skeleton of a fake flying dinosaur appeared. The thing looked like it should barely be alive it was just bone and stretched skin. Yet it flew up overhead to take care of the threats found there. "AND REMEMBER NOT TO HURT ANYONE!" she called to her creatures before picking up the shield again. "There. Much better."

The Knight shrugged. "Better than peeling po-ta-toes. Better than some puny Goblins." It then set upon knocking away any predators that came at Naja and those she was protecting from the ground. They flying creature circled above to deal with the aliens as needed.

Wildcard

You would think on a train that is a straight line from one end to the other, it would be impossible for someone to get lost. You would be wrong. Najaran. looking young and a bit lost was stumbling from car to car yawning. "Why does the kitchen always," YAWN "have to hide from me in the mornings?" she grumbled.

Lea had been busily clobbering... something- it sort of looked like a bear, if said bear had been crossbred with an abnormally ugly rhinoceros- with his Keyblade when two new creatures joined the fray. His first instinct was to consider them threats- especially the skeleton lizard thing-, but they seemed to be joining in on fighting off the creatures attacking them. Never one to look a gift horse in the mouth under such circumstances, Lea simply finished off his rhino-bear with a firy strike, and turned to look at where the new creatures had come from.

Surprisingly, they seemed to have come from a young woman. Or at least, she seemed to be directing them. "Neat trick you've got there," he called to her as he jogged in her direction.

She gave him a bright smile. "Thanks!" Hey, she was just thrilled to not be arrested for trying to help. This place was great! "I've never seen an item card like yours!" she added, because her father had taught her to return compliments and she sometimes remembered. She didn't get much practice, since she didn't get many compliments, though.

Lea came to a stop when he reached a reasonable conversational distance, but looked a bit puzzled by her compliment for a moment. "'Item card'?", he said, before realization dawned. "Oh, you mean this?" He indicated his Keyblade. "Heh, it is pretty awesome isn't it? But it's not any kind of card; it's a Keyblade. I call it 'Flame Liberator'. Not bad, hmm?" He hoisted it up to rest on his shoulder in his favorite 'look how cool I am' pose.

"Oh! You mean it isn't magic? That is awesome! I've never," she dodged clear of her Knight's swing at a foe "seen an item like that before!" she said happily. The Knight shifted and she moved with him, clearly used to this, except that her hand thrust out like she was going to catch herself with a walking stick or something. Her empty hand. Without the support she expected she went down on her butt.

Her smile vanished into a scowl.

Lea, also used to fast-paced battles, similarly had no trouble dodging the swing though recovered more easily, in time to shoot a fireball at a creature that looked like an unusually vicious, scaly kangaroo, which sent it hopping away, too injured to wish to continue. Turning back to the young woman he moved to her side and offered her a hand up.

"Well, Keyblades kinda both are and aren't magic," he said. "I'm honestly not sure entirely how they work myself, just that they draw their power from the wielder's heart."

And she was back to fascinated, her storm cloud mood passing quickly. "Wow, that sounds really complex and technical," she said with a weak laugh. She took the offered hand though and with his help hopped back up to her feet. "I bet Master Horowitz would know all about it though," she said with a nod.

"This 'Horowitz' guy's not a Keyblade Master, I take it?", Lea said. It was highly unlikely if she'd never seen on before, but he had to ask. "They're super-accomplished Keyblade wielders, and usually the ones give new wielders their Keyblades and train them."

"Maybe. I mean, he keeps surprising me," she said a bit dryly. She was actually a little tired of how often it was pointed out that she didn't know her master as well as she thought she did. "He's a Cepter though, one of the most powerful Cepters to ever live."

"'Cepter'?", Lea repeated, not sure about the word in this context. "So he's like... a really fancied up stick that kings and stuff use as an accessory? Or does he make those, or something?"

"What?" she asked, confused. She tilted her head, one hand to her face. "No, he's like me, a Cepter. He can use the cards of creation. Like I can."
