We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.
IC Month
This month is the month of Poi. Days can be found here.
The thought of the month is "If you light a lamp for somebody, it will also brighten your own path".
This means: Any thread where you tag into another character's post or top level in January or February will earn you two bonus points.
Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during February AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC.
The ingredient of the month is Corned Beef. Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom, refreshed at the platform, and characters are welcome to make other food with them.
This month’s chore assignments are:
Orange: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Blue: Meal Preparation
Purple: Laundry
Red: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
The Train
As a reminder, you can list things that characters have added to the train here. Just comment under the header of the carriage to which you are adding. There is also a handy spreadsheet here!
Important Dates
This month’s event will be an mission from the 15th to 28th of January.
The TDM will be posted on the 17th. Reserves will open on the 19th. Apps are between the 22nd and the 29th. AC is between the 23rd and the 30th.

Other Info
~ The roster has been updated with points for this month.
~ When at the shop terminal the Voidtreckers will find a button in the corner that reads 'VOTING'. Selecting this will switch the page over from the shop to VOTING POOL. Exactly how it works is explained in detail on that page but it is a way for passengers to band together to buy larger or longer term items, including carriages themselves.
Every IC month (every two OOC months) characters will earn 5 votes which they can use to vote on additions to the train. If they wish they can spend points on additional votes (one vote is five points.) From February new characters will be allowed to swap their initial 3 points for a vote if wish in their first month only. To keep things fair everyone in game from 1st January and the launch of the voting pool will start with 6 votes.
Characters can also submit things for the voting pool. Everything is subject to mod approval before it is allowed to be voted on. Anything that reaches its vote goal will be fulfilled at the next station stop just like purchases from the shop.

no subject
About them: A homunculus from an original Fate/ storyline, with a Grail War that takes place in 2020 Vancouver Island. Created to simply exist, and go from there, Potato (her 'code name' she made once she was told Lancer could only be called Lancer) is a rather innocent sort, the equivalent of a learning AI set to 'go' for four years and gather info from cartoons, kindly villagers, and well intended words from 'Granny', the mage who made her. While she can have her intelligent moments, she tends to run with her impulse and heart rather than any thought, and as a result she tends to come across as exactly as childish as her age.
Plans: Zero! Zilch! Potato in particular is a very free-running sort, the one I pull on when I'm especially 'head empty'. So plans are...few.
CR wanted: Potato doesn't have too much in the way of CR bonds (Though she does have SOME), but in particular it could be neat if something could really be done with what she IS; namely, a veritable holy grail of magic power. She's a perpetually running generator, drawing in energy from the air and storing it as mana, and the command spells on her back are burning quite strong as a result (Even if those things can't do much of anything themselves)
Things to avoid: Ultimately I can't really think of anything- while Potato is fairly innocent, she's not -ignorant-; over the course of the grail wars in different timelines, Potato sees quite a lot of terrible things, and ultimately even ends up on the wrong end of such things (which to be fair she's quite capable of walking off). Her strength is ultimately in being able to face these matters with a smile and something nice to say, so I can't come up with anything that would have to be avoided.
