January Information and CR Meme!
We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.
IC Month
This month is the month of Poi. Days can be found here.
The thought of the month is "If you light a lamp for somebody, it will also brighten your own path".
This means: Any thread where you tag into another character's post or top level in January or February will earn you two bonus points.
Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during February AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC.
The ingredient of the month is Corned Beef. Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom, refreshed at the platform, and characters are welcome to make other food with them.
This month’s chore assignments are:
Orange: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Blue: Meal Preparation
Purple: Laundry
Red: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
The Train
As a reminder, you can list things that characters have added to the train here. Just comment under the header of the carriage to which you are adding. There is also a handy spreadsheet here!
Important Dates
This month’s event will be an mission from the 15th to 28th of January.
The TDM will be posted on the 17th. Reserves will open on the 19th. Apps are between the 22nd and the 29th. AC is between the 23rd and the 30th.

~ The roster has been updated with points for this month.
~ When at the shop terminal the Voidtreckers will find a button in the corner that reads 'VOTING'. Selecting this will switch the page over from the shop to VOTING POOL. Exactly how it works is explained in detail on that page but it is a way for passengers to band together to buy larger or longer term items, including carriages themselves.
Every IC month (every two OOC months) characters will earn 5 votes which they can use to vote on additions to the train. If they wish they can spend points on additional votes (one vote is five points.) From February new characters will be allowed to swap their initial 3 points for a vote if wish in their first month only. To keep things fair everyone in game from 1st January and the launch of the voting pool will start with 6 votes.
Characters can also submit things for the voting pool. Everything is subject to mod approval before it is allowed to be voted on. Anything that reaches its vote goal will be fulfilled at the next station stop just like purchases from the shop.

Allen Walker | D.Gray-Man
About them: A former exorcist turned technically criminal to those he formally worked turned world traveller. Kind hearted, caring and comes with a tragic backstory he will do anything for those that he cares about. Prone to bouts of stupidity, but he is trying to get better at thinking about shit before he actually does it now after breaking his arm the last time.
Over all has issues but is trying to be a better person that is still able to do what he set out to do. Just to do it in a much less dumb way.
Plans:
- What are plans?
- But no seriously the only plan I really have is Allen learning to deal with his bad luck a bit more and learning how to perhaps channel it so it doesn't affect him as often as it currently does.
- Otherwise he is just prone to doing what he always does which is training carriage.
CR wanted:
- I honestly want him to form more close bonds and learning more through said bonds.
- He needs more friends in general. Can never have too many.
- I think in the far far future I'd like for Allen to maybe develop a crush again.

Seriously though, Ryo is going to be keeping an eye out for Allen now that Alice has requested it; whether that turns into friendship or just babysitting is a coinflip and is gonna be fun.

Kairi | Kingdom Hearts
About them: Princess of heart and keyblade wielder who is a sweet and kind hearted person. Always willing to try and see the best in others unless they soemhow wrong her. Always willing to fight alongside a friend and help when needed and always willing to learn new things.
Adventurous in wanting to explore and understand the place she is at now.
Plans:
- She is going to be moving into the double carriage with Nozomi.
- Still planning on buying fish and cooking it for Sparks.
- She plans on asking about what fruit people might want on the train since she can summon such things.
- She is just going to be living her life regardless of recent events.
CR wanted:
Any and all friends. She loves forming bonds.
Things to avoid: Romance. She is taken after all.
Yugi Mutou | Yu-Gi-Oh!
About them: King of games who is a sweetheart and is willing to be a shoulder for people to cry on or talk to about things that are on peoples minds. Willing to help friends in many other ways. Has started to form issues though that he hasn't spoken about them since they honestly haven't been much of an issue.
Plans:
- Yugi is going to try and make items for people who might be dealing with stress right now.
- Still carrying on with making his game.
- Around to be talked to about things you might not want to talk to others about. He's good with advice and not telling anyone.
- Dealing with the current revelations.
CR wanted:
More friends. Thats it. ALl the friends.

Fai D. Flourite | Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles
About them: A once powerful mage who when shit hit the fan and bad stuff happened to him got turned into a vampire through 0 choice of his own. Also comes woth his own tragic backstory, but he's mostly gotten past it now and is now the happy go lucky and somewhat annoying man who loves to give usually grumpy people a nickname. Mostly Kurogane but I'm sure he'd do it more often here.
Plans:
- Just adapting him to the train for the most part.
- Questioning how the train is able to give him the blood he needs because his has to be very specific.
- Doing Blues chores because as much as food can't sustain him as much as blood doesn't mean he ain't not going to cook good shit.
- Maybe nicknaming people. WHo knows.
CR wanted:
Since he is new he needs pretty much any and all CR. People he can get along with. People he can tease. Lets see what you got.
