OOC Sports day organization post
Who: Open! The more the merrier!
Where: Sports Gym
When: Orchestra, Day 26th [19th of December]
What: Sports Day event!
Warnings: None to be expected.
Do I have to thread/Top Level if I am participating?
Nope! Just do it if you want to; it's for fun after all! Your character is handwaved in the event regardless!
Please comment with the following: Are you Participating, Referee, or Spectating?
- A participant handwaves that they are part of whichever game is played. Their name will be on the team roster, but they are not required to have a thread running "after" the game.
- A Referee is as the name implies, but might have minor implications into the planning/plotting (splitting teams up, doing the coin toss for the winning team). Ideally, someone that I can contact on Discord, if need be.
- A Spectator is just there to watch or cheer people on.
How does the game work?
The game will happen entirely off screen! Starting on the 18th of December, I'll be building teams with the people who have agreed to participate, then picking a sport that suits the number of players. Then, the game gets won by a coin toss, and the results are posted on the 19th; including the game played, the teams, and the winning/losing side.
What's the point of win versus loss?
Partially, this is to start CRs, but it might have a bigger impact on the long run, as Esteban hopes to make this a recurring thing.
