We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.
IC Month
This month is the month of Orchestra. Days can be found here.
The thought of the month is "Don't be afraid to take big steps. You can't cross a chasm in two small jumps".
This means: Any thread that reaches 15 comments (total) will earn you two points..
Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during December AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC.
The ingredient of the month is Octopus. Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom, refreshed at the platform, and characters are welcome to make other food with them.
This month’s chore assignments are:
Red: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Orange: Meal Preparation
Blue: Laundry
Purple: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms

Nozomi Yumehara
About them: A copy of a ditzy yet well-meaning magical girl, Nozomi has travelled to other worlds prior to showing up on the train, so she has a lot of practice beforehand!
Plans: Nothing real concrete - she's probably going to buy a lot of mistletoe for the month and annoy people with them. Beyond that, not much else!

Things to avoid: Romance - she's taken ATM.
Usagi Tsukino
About them: A variation of the legendary magical girl Sailor Moon, one where only she and one other was awoken to battle the Dark Kingdom. This also lead to her becoming a lot more independent than normal. Also with the makings of a mad magical scientist, too.
Plans: She'll be seeing if she can obtain her original brooch with the intent on figuring out how it works so she can mass produce it so others can do things with powers.

Things to avoid: No Romance - she's taken!
Ruby Rose
About them: A full-fledged Huntress who got dragged into a world where affection powered the world. She's still very off her game because of all of that.
Plans: Right now, just being a freakin' cuddle bug. Affections for all! And maybe odd moments with Edge!

Mina Mongoose
About them: A variation of the Archie Sonic character where an attempt to turn Mina into a pawn against Sonic accidentally lead to her becoming a hero instead of a pop star later in life. She's also went through a lot of trauma because of that, so she's a little on edge at things.
Plans: Trying not to tear apart the train so she can get back to Mobius? She's going to be nervous and terrified at first since her world is in the middle of a renewed war right now, but she might calm down after awhile.
CR wanted: Any and all! Also, I will accept any and all cuddles, pets and otherwise cutesy actions towards her.

Zoki's (Seto Kaiba/Jake Peralta)

About them: From Yu-Gi-Oh. Former tech exec and hyper-competitive gamer, now tech support. And still sometimes hyper-competitive, as we found out last month. Started out rather grumpy and uncooperative, but has grown to Care, somewhat.
Plans: Planning to do a Lab Car log. His current projects include a universal translator courtesy of Yondu that needs to be trained in everyone's languages, as a backup, and lightning storing gloves for his new powers. Other than that, he has to make amends for the monopoly madness to...quite a few people.
CR wanted: Lab partners! Duelists in training are also always welcome, there's a community case of cards and the duelists offer lessons. He's also down to play any other game in that car.
Things to avoid: Romance, he's happily married.
Jake Peralta (Orange)
About them: From Brooklyn Nine Nine. On the surface, an Earth pop culture meme machine and cocky NYPD detective. Actually uses jokes to avoid emotions and sort of cares about what happens to everyone now. So that's awkward.
Plans: Continuing to work on the puzzle that is their lives! Probably trying to get serious in self defense training, and getting to know the others better.
CR wanted: Fellow adults to joke with, people of all ages to haul him back on task...teens and younger to look out for, too. He's slowly going to realize he can maybe be a dad someday.
Things to avoid: Nothing comes to mind, really. Romance might be tricky because he is still very devoted to Amy.

About them: Final Fantasy XIV, ancient being, walking spoiler for FFXIV content especially up to Shadowbringers patch 5.3. Hangs out in a hand-me-down body. It's fine. Really.
Plans: Currently Elidibus has a standing offer to offer the use of creation magic to adjust, craft or well create things. The details and limitations and interaction threads are here. About midmonth after the voidstorm in Orchestra, he also appears to be planning on trying to establish some landmark festivals. He doesn't appear to have any machinations going on (because he doesn't really). Unless you count trying to get people to be more serious about the risks recent missions have made or escalated. From his point of view, it's an uphill battle.
CR wanted: I'm down for all sorts of CR, negative or positive, light-hearted or serious. As a player I love communicating and I'm always open to hashing a rough idea out if there's something we'll both enjoy going down a certain path. In general, I'm cool with things happening because it ICly makes sense.
Things to avoid: Romance isn't going to happen simply because of Elidibus's nature and his IC worldview of things not-his-people. Which is not something to avoid, exactly, just a warning that his path results in individuals being ignored or being utterly rejected and not to be discouraged about it OOCly.

About them: From Hades, Red Team, Death Incarnate who is actually a nice guy (but also tsundere and emotionally confused) but is still learning how to be his own person instead of just his job as God of Gentle Death and more. (Having a bit of an identity crisis in the meantime…)
He's been here since the start of Jelly and carries around a plush mouse (Mort) who squeaks and
wants to FITEis now mobile from the altered life powers Than hasn't fully caught onto/denies he has from Jinnjar City. Than can often be found in the quiet car, giving himself a break from feeling ill and overwhelmed by all the sensations he feels on the surface (vs the Underworld). He'll also be found in the greenhouse car, enjoying the green life there. He's one of the point people and healers for the Red Team. He also helps out with Red inventory things.Plans: Zagreus is leaving this platform, and Thanatos is going to be an absolute wreck. He will be throwing himself against the barrier, trying to break through, and he will refuse to get back on the train.

Things to avoid: Do not try to restrain him, especially by grabbing his wrists or shoving him into a small space. Thanks, Sisyphus. You took a perfectly good death godling, gave him a month shackled in a box, and now he has trauma and a lot of insecurities.
Other: Than also has a permissions post for characters who have connections to death (though more for potential thread/CR ideas as Than has given up trying to understand this train) and also for Hades game spoilers if that's something you're worried about. He's taken from after the 1st win, all nectar given, favor completed, but no ambrosia.

Character: Esteban
About them: A curious OC with way too much energy to be constricted to a small space. Very open, very friendly, and up to many mischiefs
Plans: Esteban means to put together a Sports day with about 0.5 seconds of forethought, so that's a thing. He's now been encouraged to pull together a performance someday, which actually will have some thought poured into it, thankfully, aaaaand probably make an idiot out of himself (he's a professional at that).
CR wanted: Any and every! Esteban's very keen to make more friends and to connect back with the friends he's made so far.
He's also searching for performers and anyone who might want to participate in a small show to entertain everyone on the train (this is pretty long-term, so it's probably going to be for Jan-Feb OOCly)
Things to avoid: He's been rattled pretty hard about death on some CRs, so he might avoid the subject for this month as he tries to piece himself together. Not a straight no, just a warning.

About them: Old man ninja with a penchant for creating morally gray methods of Getting Shit Done; has literally been called Stone Face in canon. Prides self in intelligence & observation skills. Practical, pragmatic. Is a witty ass, especially to people he likes & cares for. Has died terribly a few times /shrugs/. Expert tracker, sensor, strategist, and delegator.
Team Red; but may flip flop between Red missions and Blue missions depending on what he feels fits the best.
Plans: chillin'. He's probably going to start 'planning for the worst' given he's sus as fuck about everything. Catch him doing a shitload of 'caligraphy' (except that caligraphy does shit like explodes and whatever lmfao). Otherwise, idk. Would love to just have him chill and learn for the first bit. Do some woodwork, play shogi, cook, etc. Watch all y'all 👀
CR wanted: Any, really. Though again, because he's him he'll either be seeking or seeking to create a group of other intelligence gatherers. Them infiltration types and such.
Things to avoid: None at the moment, but just mentioning romance is a work in progress given he's him. So that's not a goal or focus.

Character: Bucky Barnes AKA Soldat
About them: Former brainwashed amnesiac assassin for HYDRA, who died after the split-second decision not to actually kill Steve Rogers and then spent a year and a half in a dead world where they slowly learned how to Person again. Soul/life force/whatever is in a lantern that they carry around all the time, which I sometimes forget to mention in narration, but it is Always There. They're on Purple team, but always swap for somebody on the kitchen chores so they can cook instead, and often do missions with Red team.
Plans: Soldat is moving into a double room with Yondu this platform! Which is awful timing given their roommate Thanatos has a bit of a problem, but still gonna happen. Cooking up a storm to catch up from being missing two weeks and finally having the chance to order the supplies to work with.
CR wanted: Soldat is good for teaching people self-defense, teaching people cooking, teaching people origami, teaching people dancing... They need somebody to poke a little at their personhood issues (or I not I guess, they're pretty comfortable with their "not really a person but that's okay, can still live a fulfilling life and help people" belief) and could always stand a friend.
Things to avoid: If you tell Soldat you have the power to control minds or take away memories and that you're willing and ready to use it, and there hasn't been a solid amount of CR built up first, Soldat will drop you. No questions asked.

About them: King of games who is a sweet guy who isn't that easy to anger funnily enough. He just forgives people who do bad things to him. Not right away obviously, but he gets there quicker than most.
Plans:
Yugi is just planning on training his abilities now so expect some really random shit to pop up around the train while he does that. Also Tidus will get some bouncy balls I promise.
CR wanted: I am the least picky person. I am always unsure who might work with who sometimes, but anything is always possible.
Things to avoid: Romance. He's married so clearly taken.

About them: OC, Orange team, sleeper L2:B. Teenage mage and healer who's had a rough life and has only recently gained some self-esteem and started building that backbone. (His world took a perfectly good healer and gave him a tragic backstory and now he has anxiety.) Compassionate and caring with a buried temper. Good at helping; bad at asking for what he needs in turn. Please hug him.
Plans: He's come around to the idea that, while he's kept his death powers from Diagad, they've probably changed a little bit, and he's less Full Tilt Anxious about it. He's also going to learn life magic from Vexen. Aside from that, he's going to keep doing what he does most days - try to stay on an even keel and help others to do the same.
CR wanted: He is in dire need of a parent or mentor figure. He had one, but she left, so he's a bit adrift in that department. Aside from that, just about anything! Be his friend or adoptive sibling, let him help you or heal you, teach him and be taught in turn, the works. Help him with his weird new powers, and he'll help you with yours. (He'll definitely be keeping an eye out for new healers to help them out.) A warning, though: if CR starts out negative, it might not recover; he holds a grudge.
Things to avoid: ICly, nothing; OOCly, just don't go linking me pictures of spiders.

About them:
Pre-Train usual info: Former space pirate biker redneck who was an adopted father to an unaware demigod. Spent his entire childhood as a slave to the Kree Empire and wasn't freed until he was an adult. Also feels guilty for some child murder that happened after he brought some kids to their horrible planet father (he didn't know what his plans were). Both make him super defensive of the kids on the train and he wants to buy every second he can for them.
Current train: Moving in with Soldat this month. He's been practicing with the plant abilities and can do bigger things but still at small scales. He has bouts of his usual lonelies but he has a lot of great friends to make up for it, and is happy to be a part of Hell's PTA and needs to catch up with his other parent-type friends.
Plans: -He's been keeping an eye out on ways to help Raven and Kyoko cope with big emotions should they start to become a detriment to their health.
-Recently talked to the train (along with everyone else) encouraging it to find allies or help them find allies because they are much deeper in the shit without them. And he recced world #3 and #6. #3 is the world that originally came up with Void travel and #6 is one that builds a lot of treaties.
-He's been researching the Ministry for a while in fits of paranoia so he's infodumped about #392 on a couple of people.
-Might eventually see a friend die in a future mission.
-Might eventually see a friend turn into a giant monkey at a future stop. Because of this he's getting some super strong arrow enhancements.
-Wants to hold a ravager memorial. He's got a lot of volunteers for cooking and lights so maybe he can wrangle some drinks and make an actual party of it 'cause he knows his guys would have liked that.
-Made Anan a glowy spy flower last month, even if it took a lot of work. He's hoping to get it to her if there's a chance to meet up.
CR wanted:
-People who can help him understand teenage girl emotions 'cause he dealt with teenage boys who wouldn't cause mass destruction when upset. They'd just still a ship and go get into shit.
-People that can help with the Ravager memorial. Still needs more coat enchantments.
-Other than that, just talk to him. If it takes, it'll take. If not, it doesn't.
Things to avoid: No perma-breaking the arrow. No mind-control that'd last for more than a few in-game days.

About them: Final Fantasy 14 Warrior of Light OC. A catboy in his mid-twenties who aspires to explore every part of his world and any others he happens to visit. Generally honest and helpful but loves pranks and mischief, especially around those he's comfortable with. Gradually learning technology that isn't war machines or electric lighting.
Plans: More CR! There are still people on the train he hasn't interacted with, or interacted a lot with and he plans to change that. He might start offering to take leather/woodworking commissions so he isn't as bored.

About them: Teenage half-ghost hero who likes terrible jokes, astronomy and punching people who deserve it.
Plans: Danny's still working on improving his fighting ability, both with his powers and without. He's got a lot of conflicting feelings about his life on the train, and is seeking out distractions to avoid thinking about it. Oh, also he's usually grumpy and moody during the holidays. So don't expect him to be too excited at any vaguely Christmas-like winter celebrations.
CR wanted: Everything! Danny needs more training buddies, more teenagers to hang out with, and more adult mentor-types.

Character: Rich Goranski
About them: A burnt chicken nugget of a boy. Chaotically bisexual. Has trauma related to mind control and robots, and yet keeps getting himself involved in mind control plots and robots.
Plans: I NEED TO GET THIS LOSER DOING THINGS. I've been kind of out of the game for a bit and need to fix that! I think I'll hopefully be doing a birthday party for him early in the month (since Devero's been keeping an eye on the date for him). He also has been working on training with Elidibus (and doesn't realize how much trouble that'll cause him...) and I'm hoping to do a post, maybe on the platform, of him utilizing his Diagad powers, finally.
CR wanted: Literally everything and anything at this point! He likes friends, will flirt with anyone his age, and is more than a little easy to rile up. I welcome people antagonizing him too, though he may attempt to be the bigger person and therapy your character, because that's just how he's decided to channel his self-sacrificing nature now.
Things to avoid: Just give me a warning if any CR would get into stuff like dismissing Rich's past experiences with abuse. Check his opt out as well in case there's stuff you don't want brought up!

About them: A Mutant with the ability to phase through matter, which ranges from letting her pass through solid objects to "float" on air. She's friendly and does her best to help out...but don't leave her in charge of the kitchen
