1. Post with your character. I’ve written out some prompts but feel free to make up your own, you have a whole train to play with!
2. Assume they have been around long enough for threads to jump right into the action!
3. Have much fun!
Happy testing!
Void Trecking
The thing about being on a train hurtling through void space is there’s not much to see. Outside the window lies an endless void of kaleidoscope colours shifting and swirling. It’s probably best not to stare at it too long. Do so and you might start to imagine order in it. Shapes, places, even figures. But your eyes shift... Back to chaos. Probably best you do something else other than stare out the window. Or convince your fellow passengers that void watching leads to headaches!
Space Racer!
The train has recently gained a game carriage and the VR video games are proving popular. A good way to relive boredom.
Space Racer: A multiplayer game where you race your friends on spacecraft through crazy galaxy type obstacle courses. Throwing alien fish at each other is not only permitted but encouraged.
Let silliness ensue!
Ghost Park
The latest mission has brought the voidtreckers to a fair ground with the instructions to keep the fair goers safe. Not an ordinary type of mission at all. However it soon becomes apparent that not all is well. The ghost train seems to be populated with real ghosts, monster lurk in the shadows and the house of mirrors bring your reflections to life!
Team One
Protect the people at the fair! Encourage people to stay away from the real dangers. Perhaps escort those who insist on going anyways or forcibly remove them from the area. Encourage them onto the safe rides and stalls. Nothing can go wrong at a coconut shie, right?
Team Two
The monsters seem to be coming from the House of Horrors and it seems if there is to be an end to this then it is there you must go. Fight the monsters, try and figure out what is making them come to life and bring an end to this haunting.
Team Three
The management of the park have been odly silent, there has been no move to evacuate or even to stop people coming in. Go and figure out what is happening, see if they need help or if they are somehow behind all of this chaos.
Pick a team, go wild!
Auniira Yvarragh | Dungeons and Dragons OC
Headaches. Well, yes, but many a thing gave her headaches, here. And there were ways, she'd been told, by many other priestesses--both of her own goddess, and others, that there perhaps were ways to see portents in such a strangeness. Not that the Raven Queen was wont to give prophecies to her adherents, but there was always a first time, was there not?
Or you could try to dissuade the tiny drowess of her decidedly bad plan...
Ghost Park: Team Two!
Monsters and ghosts, they say. Both creatures Auniira is...somewhat familiar with, though she is decidedly unhappy about the fact that she has not got her proper leather armor, and just has strange attire to supposedly protect her. But she still has her spells, courtesy of her holy symbol, and she's availed herself of a rather large stick to serve her as a makeshift staff. Thus prepared, she considers herself ready to enter the House of Horrors...
Assumed cr
Seeing Auniira he nodded at her. "This is stuff you told me about right?" From what she'd told him, a lot of these things fit the descriptions she'd given him. He looked over at the stick she had in her hand and wondered if she'd somehow use it to help fight the creatures that seemed to loom in on them.

Ghosts!
Auniira would likely hear the clicking of Shaveth's strange feet as she came to be near Auniira. Shaveth would crouch into a small ball as she waited to enter. It wouldn't take very long before Shaveth was looking over the dark elf's holy symbol, a hand wrapped with prayer beads gently prodding the holy symbol as she spoke in her hissing voice.
"A prayer ssssymbol? Are you a..... Cleric? With feathersssss like a kenku.... Hm..." She tapped her chin, the chitin of her fingers clicking against her chitin chin. "Kenku queen!" She withdrew her three pronged hand as her three cyan eyes looked up to the elf expectantly. "Dark one follow the feather queen, yessss?"

Ann Takamaki | Persona 5 | OTA
Well, if there are games here, Ann might as well play some! What else is she going to do to kill time on this weird train? Adjusting the VR helmet to properly fit her face, she giggles with a dorky grin on her face. These kind of games are some of her favorites.
"Hey, you! Wanna go a round? I wanna see if I'm still good at these!!"
Ghost Park Team Two
Ann has plenty of experience with monster fighting considering what lurked in the palaces of the Metaverse, so she figures she'll be most useful traveling into the haunted house. Holding a whip in hand, she walks through the dark halls of the attraction with some trepidation. She can feel the hairs on the back of her neck sticking up from the atmosphere.
"Eugh, this is giving me the creeps..."
Team Two
Well, she did have her pistol, at least, so that was something...
"Is that a light I see up ahead--or do my eyes deceive me?" She was uncertain, and as a precaution, she made certain that her pistol was ready to fire, should it become necessary...

Naminé | Kingdom Hearts
Naminé wondered, question after question slipping through her fingers like granules of sand. Bright crystal blue eyes focused on the endless expanse of space outside of the window. Her head spun and she began to feel a dizzying pain press against her temples.
She didn't look away because it felt as if the answers to her questions were lost somewhere within that void.
GHOST PARK: TEAM ONE
She ran towards the people attending the fair, trying to convince them to stop or divert them around the horror's that she knew they were walking into. "It isn't safe. Please. You shouldn't go." Of those she spoke too, all but a pair of teenage boys listened to her pleas. They were cocky and didn't want a tiny girl to tell them what to do.
Naminé didn't have the power to protect them but she couldn't bring herself to leave them and instead followed like a timid puppy at their heels.
"This is a really bad idea. There are monsters this way."
WILD CARD
Wildcard/platform
Riku had brought her there if he remembered right and so he went over to the sort of familiar person, the one who had woken him up. She was standing off by herself, just looking around.
Walking over to her, Terra's metal boots clanged rhythmically against the platform so he made plenty of noise to alert her to his presence.
"You're Namine' right?"

Telli | Star Wars AU OC | OTA
Traveling through space was nothing new for Telli and she was used to the chaos of stars streaking by, but for some reason she couldn't look at this for long without pain shooting through her head. She closed her eyes and concentrated, reaching out with the Force to see if there was something there but nothing. All she could feel was Luke's bright presence and she basked in it for a moment before withdrawing.
She turned away from the window and pulled her hood farther up her head, trying to hide herself in the shadow. Hopefully the hood would allow her to pass unnoticed as she moved through the compartments.
Ghost Park: Team Two:
Fighting monsters was turning out to be a good way for Telli to let out her anger and frustration at her situation. Being stolen away to a new world, even if this time she wasn't being treated as property, was bringing up memories she'd rather not have at the forefront of her mind.
A shape moved in her peripheral vision and she turned, flinging out her left hand and gesturing. A mirror shook itself loose from the Horror House walls and flung itself at the shadow, following the arc of her hand. With a crash it hit its mark and a screech sounded from whatever monster had tried to sneak up on her.
The tinkling of glass hitting the floor was drowned out as Telli started laughing. Perhaps this place wasn't so bad?
Wildcard:
OOC:Come at her with anything! She's a purple skinned twi'lek with a silver cane she obviously isn't using as a mobility aide and does not know the concept of subtlety.
Trecking
After a moment, he let out a sigh, giving up on attempting to clean for now, and seeking her out. It was pretty easy to do -- she was the only Twi'lek on the train. He reached out, giving her a gentle nudge with the Force, so as not to alarm her by coming up on her from behind.

Seeing the woman standing around, it looked as if she had a cane and that spurred the man to walk over. It wasn't in him to ignore people that needed assistance and as a knight of Heliodor even that's not where he was presently, he could still show courtesy and respect.
Approaching the lady, Hendrik held out a hand. "May I assist you in boarding the train?"

Richie Tozier | IT: chapter 2 (so spoilers ahoy)
[ Richie's not at all sure what to think of the train, honestly. It's a train, sure, he knows what a fucking train is, but trains aren't supposed to have stars outside the window and never mind he kind of remembers what he agreed to. The whole thing is bullshit regardless, and honestly he probably would have agreed to anything at that point. What the hell else was he gonna do with himself? The best part of him died under the Neimbolt house, everything else was just...prolonging the inevitable.
So he stared at the stars. Watched the patterns, traced them with a fingertip until his head started to hurt and his stomach lurched, and then he screwed his eyes shut and dropped back into his seat with a heavy sigh before kicking his legs up on the seat opposite him. ]
Tell me you guys at least have alcohol here. And cigarettes.
2. Ghost Park: team one
[ The news that they were all supposed to get off the train and help whatever the hell was going on outside was met with no small amount of resistance and complaining from Richie. What was the point, people were going to die regardless and if they had a TRAIN why did they need to be those people? They should be LEAVING. He pointed this out loudly and frequently, even once the teams were assigned and their instructions given, but nobody listened, or at least not enough to make a difference, so he followed after, grumbling the whole time and shouting profanities at the fairgoers as 'necessary'. ]
Hey! Dipshit! You have seen horror movies, right? If you don't wanna be the next resident of the Haunted Mansion, maybe go the other way. Unless you have a death wish, in which case absolutely walk right in. I'm obviously talking to a brick wall anyway.
1:
That would be the blonde girl sitting nearby, watching Mr Tozier over the top of Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone. It’s her favorite book, and the best thing to do instead of watch the stars go by. She’d rather not contend with a migraine.

Link | BotW | Ghost Park: Team Two
Alas, fighting monsters was the sort of work he was most suited to so it was into the darkness he goes, pausing only to grab a broken piece of wrought iron fencing from outside to use as a weapon. Hopefully the spirits could be hit with martial weapons because he didn’t have access to any sort of magic here, no Master Sword or ancient weapons in sight.
With a deep, centering breath, Link pushed open the door to the haunted attraction and looked around warily. He needed to be brave and stay aware, the last thing he wanted was to take a swing at a teammate that caught him by surprise.
Saeko | Pokemon AU
Go see what's happening in the House of Horrors. Stop the Monsters.
Sure. Sounds easy. But of course it's her luck to be attacked by a giant spider before entering. A spider that is bigger than anything she's ever seen and it has far too many legs and eyes.
"Over here, ugly!-"
She hopes no-one's around to see this, or hear it. Mostly because she knows she looks like she has no clue what she's doing outside of scrambling back and shouting like a loon and drawing attention to herself. Plus, she's like five-foot-tall and knows how to use that to her advantage. Like... ducking at the last minute as the spider takes a swipe at her.
But, that's all part of being a distraction so her mightyhena can get the drop on the Weird Spider with a fire-filled bite.
Fire and bugs: typically not a good mix and Saeko is willing to play dirty. She does train darks, after all. Though, they could probably use some help.
Re: Saeko | Pokemon AU
He swoops closer and takes a spot next to the girl. "Hey, we need to get you out of here! Is that dog- er, hyena- yours?" Friday corrected him just as he was speaking.

Sherlock Holmes | BBC
One of the Void's newest recruits has sense made a reputation for himself for being unlikable. That's fine though, he prefers it that way, less people will try to talk to him. He crosses by people through the halls but seems to disappear somewhat. He's passing by the hall again and stops to stare out at the void, frowning in irritation before pulling is eyes away. He notice's being watched and just clears his throat.
"I wouldn't stare at it too long. Might give you a headache." He supplies before starting on his way again.
{ Monster Hunting; Team 3 }
Hunting the traditional monsters is not exactly a skill Sherlock Holmes is known for. Perhaps with more research but his trade has always been hunting a different sort of monster. It's a skill he's very good at and that's precisely why he's gone to talk to the staff.
He frowns at the group he's interrogating, eyes darting ever so slightly as he takes in all the information he can gather.
"So then... shall I tell you what I've noticed or do you want to save us both some time and come clean?"
Team 3
But of course once they'd actually arrived, he hadn't been able to resist slipping off to do a little investigating of his own. As Holmes starts on the next part of the interrogation, Conan coughs quietly and holds out a binder, blandly ignoring the group's sudden alarm..

Re: Sherlock Holmes | BBC
And Charlie really should like it, too, but this thing was full of strangers, and Charlie wasn't good with them. She hadn't even bothered to learn anyone's name directly. Just listened and people watched in her own way, not watching anyone, pretending she wasn't listening. Pretending she didn't even care. She'd had a lot of time to become very good at eavesdropping without going noticed, and from that, she knew who this guy was.
"Thank you, Mr Holmes," replies the girl who looks thinner than she should (because being a homeless orphan runaway didn't exactly come with a meal-plan), her tone even and meant to come off as impassive. "I'll try to remember that."
This one, at least, she could be nicer to. Just a bit.
Blade Wolf | Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
[ There's a certain amount of frustration to be had in trying to curtail civilians away from monsters when they think you're one of them - but in their defense, he kind of is a big, four legged pile of knives and cables and metal plates vaguely assembled into the shape of a dog. Were he more inclined to be an asshole, he'd probably play along and work with his strengths, but instead, no, he continues to walk fairly calmly toward people heading in the wrong direction, firmly but stiffly warning them in a monotone mechanical voice away from danger. ]
Please, do not approach the House of Horrors attraction. There are unsafe entities located there which are currently being removed. You will be advised when it is safe to attend the attraction. Thank you for your understanding.

He's not kidding, mate. He's not here just for his good looks, we're here to keep you safe. So 'til the attraction's cleared, you better stay clear, you get me?
Bran Corbie | Corax OC (Werewolf: The Apocalypse)
Considering this amusement park was somewhat haunted--or so the story went--there weren't any weird looks at the raven clinging to the highest branch of the tallest tree in the park.
Spying, naturally. Might not be the eyes of Gaia, but the secrets were still his for the taking. Right now, though, his keen eyes were trying to spot just what the hell was going on with the park's management.
He needed a closer look, so Bran spread his wings and glided down from the treetops, directly into the shadows. It was a much less avian individual who peered into the windows of the management office, squinting dark eyes to try and get a glimpse through the dirty glass panes.
"Doesn't look good," he grumbled to himself. "Not sure what the hell's going on in there but I don't see anything moving around." Bran grimaced. He didn't want to go in, and especially not solo, but at the moment, he didn't see any backup, and it was what it was. Secrets needed to be gathered, after all, and this was a question demanding answers.
Re: Bran Corbie | Corax OC (Werewolf: The Apocalypse)
It didn't sit well under Charlie's skin. Not for shit.
She's climbed up to another window, using her telekinesis to keep her from falling. Upper body strength, she has not, but that's to be expected. She is an orphan runaway, after all. And sometimes, she couldn't steal more than a half-rotted sandwich every so often.
But she's up there, sticking and peering in and completely unphased when Bran lands nearby. She's used to it.
Frowning on her own, she tries to get a closer look. But the window is kind of gross, and if she lets go of the window sill to scrub at it, she'll fall.
"I don't like this place. When can we leave?" Fuck the mission. She never signed on for this.

Charlie McGee - Firestarter
So, honestly? Charlie wasn't a big fan of video games. She'd had an Atari when still a captive of the Shop, so she didn't have the best memories tied to playing them. Right now, however, she was giving Space Racer a try and doing very badly.
Is that upsetting her? Not really. She's keeping her anger in check. She has to. That's how she keeps things from burning.
"God...okay. One more go," Charlie says after losing again. "Just one. I'll get it this time."
[ Insomnia and Kitchen Trips ]
Charlie didn't do much sleeping on a good day, and she didn't have many good days to begin with. She can't even remember the last time she'd gotten a good, solid four hours in a row. Her best stretch was two hours, at most, and that had been tonight.
One of the things that used to keep her awake was hunger, but this time? She had access to food. Good food. Food that wasn't rotting or in questionable states of fresh.
So she was in the kitchen, jar of mayo on the counter, block of cheddar cut into thin slices, and some of those slices stuffed between a couple pieces of sourdough, cooking away on the stove.
She also has coffee. Weird combination, she knows. But her room doesn't have fire extinguishers. She needs to stay awake.
Someone get her some fruit.
Assuming CR?
She'd sat down and played with him and he won a round or two. But after she lost again and threatened to quit, he smiled.
"One more game."

Lara Croft - Tomb Raider Reboot Games with Boomtown CRAU
She'd already been made aware of the nausea and migraines that accompanied staring out the window too long, so she wasn't in the quiet car doing that. She was here with a ginger ale and some crackers for herself, set on the bench across from her, that's how aware of the side-effects she was. She also had the journal she'd found in her rucksack and was making notes of what she'd observed so far. Even people had detailed notes sections. She was trying to find a pattern as to why they were all there, but nothing made sense. It was frustrating.
So much so that journal and pen are thrown onto the bench beside her and Lara put her elbows on her knees and her head in her hands with a groan.
She wasn't too fond of puzzles she couldn't work out and this one was pissing her off significantly.
[Gym Carriage. ]
Whoever made the training dummies, Lara was eternally grateful. She could use them as distraction from the problem of the train, which was what the archaeologist was doing now. Each hit punctuated a thought that she was keeping to herself, each thought more and more frustrating. Each hit coming a bit harder than the last. She was going to work out why they were all here if it was the last thing she would do. This place had her stubbornness on high, and the last time that had happened, she'd been on a colony in space being hunted by concrete soldiers.
Those guys had regretted coming after her, but that was another story.
For now, this poor dummy was taking the brunt of her annoyance with sharp punches and quick kicks. It's clear Lara's had a significant amount of fight training and with the scars that show up and down her arms, it's obvious she's used it well.
A large tattoo covers her back, visible under the sports bra and gym shorts she wore , the colors of it shifting and shimmering some and the bird seeming to move just slightly with each hit Lara dishes out.
She's fine. She promises. This train is pissing her off, but give her a few minutes. She'll wear herself out eventually.
[ Space Racer. ]
Lara wasn't one for video games. That was more Jonah and Alex, god rest his soul. But Space Racer was fun. So she's seated on one of the cushions in the game room, playing this insane racing game and having a blast.
And if she gets second place in a round? Or even just flat out loses? She's a gracious loser. This round, however, she's not losing. She's won, and her fists go up in the air in triumph.
"Yes! Finally! What do you say," she says, turning to look at who she's playing with. "One more go? Loser has to do the other persons chores tomorrow."
