October Information and CR Meme

We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.

IC Month

This month is the month of Basoon. Days can be found here.

The thought of the month is “The journey not the arrival matters.”

The challenge is: Any thread that reaches 15 comments (collectively) will earn you two points.

Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during October AC. Any threads from September or October can be used for this challenge. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC!

New team points have been updated on the passenger roster and the shop is here!

Recipes are here. The ingredients for these recipes are in the store room as well as basics (flour, pasta, noddles, rice, milk, eggs etc).

This months chore assignments are:

Purple: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Red: Meal Preparation
Orange: Laundry
Blue: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms

The Train.

The shop has been updated! Have fun spending all those new team points!

When characters wake up in their beds the morning the train is to pick new characters up at the platform they will notice that any clothes they kept from the mission have disappeared, the dressing carriage drawers and wardrobes are once again locked. Any items or weapons that characters brought back from the world do not disappear and remain with the characters.

Important Dates

This month event will be a on-train event running on the 19th and 20th October.

Reserves will open 14th October and a test drive meme will go up the same day. Apps are between 20th and 27th October. AC will run 23rd to 30th October.

Other Information

As a bit more information about the Safety Control Apparatus was discovered I thought it best we have a page for it.

If your character does anything to the train that will effect the setting please let me know here so I can update the settings page!

Character: Raven
About them: Teen Titans (animated). Quiet and withdrawn, Raven keeps herself pretty controlled and private. Mostly because her powers are based on her emotions. She's coming from a difficult point in canon too, so she'll be slightly more prickly than usual. She cares *deeply* about her friends though, and those whom she comes to care about she'll do whatever she can to protect. Even from herself.
Plans: Meet people, snark at everyone, have adventures, Be both glad she's not in her world so her father can't use her as a way in but also sad because she misses her friends.
CR wanted: Anything really
Things to avoid: I lay out pretty well what my limits are in my journal's permission's post. Mostly feel free to poke me--I like talking over stuff.

ALSO, big thing--which I need to make sure I add to Permissions-- Raven is an Empath, as well as Half-Demon. She respects privacy though, but probably keeps a slight passive-awareness of what's going on around her with regard to other's emotional states. For herself, she comes across as very tightly shielded and controlled, with deep hints of power.

So please feel free to let me know if there's anything she should or shouldn't be aware of, emotion-wise. If I think she'd pick up on something, I'll ask. ^^

So Peter is the worst liar in the history of liars, she will not need her powers to be able to tell that.

But he's pretty anxious and jittery all the time so have fun with that.

She won't without his permission, but she could probably calm him down with projective empathy. It's part of how she heals.

I'd love to see that empathy come in with Ignis.

Do tell? I'm...not entirely canon-blind, but mostly blind, to FF 15. ^^

Ignis is well mannered, soft spoken and polite. Beneath that armor is a worrier, and a man that loves order and things run his way, of course presumably smoothly. He was an advisor to the king (they met when Ignis was 6) who (due to the canon pull point) was left unconscious. This king must sacrifice himself to save the world.

Only Tony knows quite a lot, but obviously Ignis has very strong feelings about all of this. So she's free to pick up on his emotions if they get into a discussion about where they're from.

I can't wait to see how she will react to the elves :) Fëanor might treat her with Extreme Suspicion TM (at least for some time) if he'll ever learn she's half-demonic.
