We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.
IC Month
This month is the month of Merriment. Days can be found here.
The thought of the month is "Nobody can do everything, but everybody can do something".
This means: Any thread where you tag into another character's post or top level will earn you two bonus points during July and August.
Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during August AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC.
The ingredient of the month is coconut. Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom, refreshed at the platform, and characters are welcome to make other food with them.
This month’s chore assignments are:
Blue: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Purple: Meal Preparation
Red: Laundry
Orange: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
The Train
As a reminder, you can list things that characters have added to the train here. Just comment under the header of the carriage to which you are adding. There is also a handy spreadsheet here!
When passengers return to the train after picking up new arrivals they will find sleeper carriage 5 has been removed- the four passengers from that carriage have been reassigned to different cabins, though no room-mates have been split up.
They is a slight change to the armoury- additional communal lockers- one for each team and a multi team locker. Information about that can be found on the settings page and the list of communal supplies can be found here.
Important Dates
This month’s event will be a train event running between the 12th and 17th of August.
The TDM will be posted on the 17th. Reserves will open on the 19th. Apps are between the 22nd and the 29th, and AC will run between the 23rd and 30th.

The shop has been updated with Large Items. Points have been updated on the roster.
Our new players (and old players who want a refresher) might find it useful to read gameplay before the platform. As always the mods are happy to answer any questions you might have.

I also need to check on what tech stuff is allowed for the game, with building stuff and accessing electronics around the train.

It might not hurt to check here re: tech to see what the mods have already allowed. I'd offer to give a general rundown of the train's systems as I understand them in terms of Dev's tech, but I've been kind of out of touch so I might have missed if there's been any recent updates.

Maybe ask later on if able to add another VR game, since in canon he created one and custom headsets for the game. Lots of options to come :) Thank you for the link though, good to have the reference for later.
