August Information and CR Meme!
We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.
IC Month
This month is the month of Merriment. Days can be found here.
The thought of the month is "Nobody can do everything, but everybody can do something".
This means: Any thread where you tag into another character's post or top level will earn you two bonus points during July and August.
Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during August AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC.
The ingredient of the month is coconut. Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom, refreshed at the platform, and characters are welcome to make other food with them.
This month’s chore assignments are:
Blue: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Purple: Meal Preparation
Red: Laundry
Orange: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
The Train
As a reminder, you can list things that characters have added to the train here. Just comment under the header of the carriage to which you are adding. There is also a handy spreadsheet here!
When passengers return to the train after picking up new arrivals they will find sleeper carriage 5 has been removed- the four passengers from that carriage have been reassigned to different cabins, though no room-mates have been split up.
They is a slight change to the armoury- additional communal lockers- one for each team and a multi team locker. Information about that can be found on the settings page and the list of communal supplies can be found here.
Important Dates
This month’s event will be a train event running between the 12th and 17th of August.
The TDM will be posted on the 17th. Reserves will open on the 19th. Apps are between the 22nd and the 29th, and AC will run between the 23rd and 30th.

The shop has been updated with Large Items. Points have been updated on the roster.
Our new players (and old players who want a refresher) might find it useful to read gameplay before the platform. As always the mods are happy to answer any questions you might have.

JONOUCHI
About them: A highschool student with a pastlife that's started to finally settle down on what the consequences to his current one are, Jonouchi is for the most part a street-smart goofball, who takes friendship and protecting his friends seriously, and has a bad habit of maybe speaking and swinging before actually stopping to do some thinking. While his occasional visions and past experiences have helped to instill an edge of paranoia that can at least get him to pause, it doesn't always happen as much as it should. That aside, he's here from another world that he fell into first, and he brought with him a pokemon! And then he bought more pokemon! And...now there's a dragon in his shadow?? Hm.
Plans: Suffice to say, Jonouchi's going to be a bit heavily affected by all of this. The greater part of things is just the fact that it all happened; Jinnjar didn't have hold of his head very long, but a lot of his time from there was spent kind of floundering as he tried to help everyone out. It all ended well, but between how many were so heavily affected by false lives, and how many are just...leaving the platform after the fact, he can't remain entirely positive. He'll try though! He's going to be doing some pokemon stuff with other people as an example, and uh...
Well other than that he kind of got slammed hard in the final fight with Chaos, and can't actually clearly remember most of it as a result. Which is to say, he spent a good amount of time in triage followed by the infirmary actually, and he's only really now getting his bearings back- people are quite free to notice.
CR wanted: Jou's a bit all over the place, but given the power hold over and eventual bleed, the build up of CR toward anyone who can eventually help with Oops! Dragons! is always good. Also always good are pokemon shenanigans, because who doesn't love those?
Things to avoid: As Jonouchi is a seer, he has A Permissions Page here. As well, it should be noted that in tags I tend to use his first name for the sake of narration- however, it's quite fine for others to stick to Jonouchi.
