We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.
IC Month
This month is the month of Merriment. Days can be found here.
The thought of the month is "Nobody can do everything, but everybody can do something".
This means: Any thread where you tag into another character's post or top level will earn you two bonus points during July and August.
Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during August AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC.
The ingredient of the month is coconut. Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom, refreshed at the platform, and characters are welcome to make other food with them.
This month’s chore assignments are:
Blue: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Purple: Meal Preparation
Red: Laundry
Orange: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
The Train
As a reminder, you can list things that characters have added to the train here. Just comment under the header of the carriage to which you are adding. There is also a handy spreadsheet here!
When passengers return to the train after picking up new arrivals they will find sleeper carriage 5 has been removed- the four passengers from that carriage have been reassigned to different cabins, though no room-mates have been split up.
They is a slight change to the armoury- additional communal lockers- one for each team and a multi team locker. Information about that can be found on the settings page and the list of communal supplies can be found here.
Important Dates
This month’s event will be a train event running between the 12th and 17th of August.
The TDM will be posted on the 17th. Reserves will open on the 19th. Apps are between the 22nd and the 29th, and AC will run between the 23rd and 30th.

The shop has been updated with Large Items. Points have been updated on the roster.
Our new players (and old players who want a refresher) might find it useful to read gameplay before the platform. As always the mods are happy to answer any questions you might have.

Danny Fenton
About them: Half ghost teenage superhero. Astronomy geek. Likes video games, terrible monster movies and bad jokes.
Plans:
Danny has some Fallout from the last mission, and will be dealing with that this month. He had some Realizations and has decided that
1. He has to get over his fear of becoming too powerful and has to figure out how to start training his ghost powers. (This may or may not end in his developing a new power at some point).
2. Him being brainwashed again could be Bad. Especially if the next person decided to actually use him as a weapon rather than giving him a fake life. That means he needs to figure out how to train to raise his defenses against being brainwashed.
3. Brainwashing Plan B. He'll be buying as many specter deflectors and Fenton thermoses as he can and passing them out to close CR. (Note: The Specter Deflector shocks him if he touches anyone wearing them. It is possible that he hasn't thought this through.
4. Brainwashing Plan C. He'll be trying to find strong fighters and people who have experience with stopping supernatural threats, to make sure that there is someone on the train who could stop him.
CR wanted:
Fellow teenagers, fellow superheroes. People with experience on how to stop being scared of your potential or who could help him train his ghost powers or mental defenses. I'd love to get him some adult mentors.

That sounds like it could create an interesting conversation.
Conan Edogawa
About them: Teenage detective and Holmes geek, currently living as a first grade detective and Holmes geek.
Plans:
I understand he has yet more cast drama to deal with this month. He's also going to have a busy month refusing to admit to the power he is now stuck with, although he likely won't have proof that he still has it until the next mission.
CR wanted:
All kinds. Conan is perfectly happy to spend all his time reading in the library or practicing soccer tricks, but he really needs to expand his CR circle.
Takato Matsuda (and Guilmon)
About them: A genuinely nice kid and his digital dinosaur best friend. Surprisingly okay with being recruited as heroes by another dimension.
Plans:
Takato wants to check up on all of his friends after the last month. At some point there will be a post with Takato and Guilmon starting a game of tag for anyone who wants to join.
Also, Takato's power during the last plot was Empathy. He already had some tendencies towards this before, but he's going to have no idea how to control it. So... anyone have experience with emerging psychic powers who could help him?
CR wanted: Other kids, Responsible Adults, AI and tech characters.
