We hope everyone had a fun month! Some information for your ongoing journey.
IC Month
This month is the month of Merriment. Days can be found here.
The thought of the month is "Nobody can do everything, but everybody can do something".
This means: Any thread where you tag into another character's post or top level will earn you two bonus points during July and August.
Threads that fulfil this criteria can be submitted during August AC. You may find it easier to keep a tracking list of threads for easy compiling of bonus AC.
The ingredient of the month is coconut. Recipes are here. All the ingredients can be found in the storeroom, refreshed at the platform, and characters are welcome to make other food with them.
This month’s chore assignments are:
Blue: Cleaning bedrooms and passenger areas
Purple: Meal Preparation
Red: Laundry
Orange: Cleaning kitchen and bathrooms
The Train
As a reminder, you can list things that characters have added to the train here. Just comment under the header of the carriage to which you are adding. There is also a handy spreadsheet here!
When passengers return to the train after picking up new arrivals they will find sleeper carriage 5 has been removed- the four passengers from that carriage have been reassigned to different cabins, though no room-mates have been split up.
They is a slight change to the armoury- additional communal lockers- one for each team and a multi team locker. Information about that can be found on the settings page and the list of communal supplies can be found here.
Important Dates
This month’s event will be a train event running between the 12th and 17th of August.
The TDM will be posted on the 17th. Reserves will open on the 19th. Apps are between the 22nd and the 29th, and AC will run between the 23rd and 30th.

The shop has been updated with Large Items. Points have been updated on the roster.
Our new players (and old players who want a refresher) might find it useful to read gameplay before the platform. As always the mods are happy to answer any questions you might have.

Absol | Masumi Sera

Character: Masumi Sera
About them: Masumi is a (formerly, more on this later) normal human who happens to be a teen detective. She's quite friendly, and has a strong protective streak that makes it so she'd do just about anything for those she cares about without question. This has led to some issues with getting others *coughconancough* to trust her back in her home canon, but it's fine. Probably. She's on Team Purple.
Plans:
-As of right now, she'll be continuing to recover from anchoring during the mission, though will probably be back up to full strength by the time the event happens.
-She'll be discovering that she still has her Diagad power, which lets her calm others. (But only if she's calm.) Since it's completely untrained at this point, she'll only be able to use a very weak version of it that'll only last for a second or two tops. Please let me know if your character would be willing to help her practice at staying calm or using this power. Additionally, I have an opt out here for those who would rather their characters not be affected by this, or who have anything that would affect this power.
-Once this thread progresses some more, she'll be wanting to share what she knows. That said, she's also willing to let one of the others involved take the lead on sharing the info if they want to.
-Edit: Masumi's request will be granted, so she's going to be happy about that in particular. This isn't something she'd bring up for no reason, but it is something that is going on.
CR wanted: Anyone! She's pretty easy to get along with, and would be delighted to have a sparring partner in the training gym. (Masumi practices Jeet Kune Do, and has been learning to use a sword for a while now.)

The tldr- among many people Kiyoiri met of course, one was Vermouth- who, by bits of deduction, Kiyoiri realized was 'someone called Vermouth'.
Anyway, Vermouth has now determined (incorrectly) that Kiyoiri is Definitely associated with the Org, and therefore needs to grab Conan alone to tell him.
Conan meanwhile, in his own thread with the kid, has already been filled in on...
- The fact that Ki-chan came from a different criminal group (He even promised to see if he can bust her out sooner at home, AWWW)
and
- The fact that...TECHNICALLY, Gin's dead. Technically. (Really thats its own can of worms)
Obviously there's going to be discrepancies and the like (Vermouth for example, knows that Kiyoiri got her crow from Vodka, much as the kid also referred to him as...a Spirit), but Hoo! We shall see the fall out...
And naturally of course everyone else either has no idea about all this or, in Kiyoiri's case, merely knows that 'well, i guess they'll probably talk, but it isn't as if I have anything to hide so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯'
